Daithi, Blake is not Jason's brother - that's Dean - Blake is his friend, but your point is well made. It's never easy to tell people you're not entirely who they think you are. Some will not like you because you're 'not the person they thought'. Yes, Ethan will make life interesting, but the ancient Chinese curse is may you live in interesting times. CP - it was a part of the thought process to flesh out things. Sure J & P will be around and pop in from time to time, but we know quite a bit about them, so let's give some of the others their due. Glad you hung around and are liking this. I can tell you that for the foreseeable future, B & E are going to be the main focus. I might venture off into some romance for Darryl or Dean, but I can assure you I have no intention of doing any M/F sex scenes - I'd only butcher them with my complete lack of experience -AQG

Okay, so hopefully this won't be a deal killer for folks, but I don't really see me torturing either of these two - at least not in the near [3-4 month] period. To me, this is intended to be more of a feel good, meet and see the characters, see them grow into men. I don't plan [but I'm not saying in time I won't do any of these things]any major trama like beat downs, or getting disowned, or space aliens killing one or the other. There will be however, some of the normal angst and drama that comes with being young, out and - maybe - in love. So don't expect me to go all Nephylim on this story. I'm not half as good as her at it so I don't plan on trying. :-)

Thanks Sly. The one thing that the short chapters really have in their favor is it keeps me posting. If I had to do 3-4K chapters, it would be weeks between postings. So I glad you let me know you're okay with them -AQG

IDK B-man, remember it was about a year ago, he came out to Jason. and then there was the time at the vigil where he gave Jason a more than friendly straight bros hug. So I think this is something he's wanted to do for a while, but hasn't had the right 'reason'. As for a transfer. Nah. That's not in the cards. Though Ethan does seem a glutton for punishment. Well it was 11 chapters. Think of it this way, the folks who were reading week by week had to way 5 weeks or so for Peter to wake up. There is no sequel so, yeah this book does wrap up things by the end. There is a companion story about Jordan trial and there are short stories that will pick up after this one ends. But you should finish this before you read anything else. -

B-man - you raised something I was thinking as I wrote this- IF this were a longer format, I would have gone into a bit more before Ethan dialing things back to where he wanted them to go. And I'd flesh out their conversation a bit more. I'll talk about it a bit more in the forum, but I understand your point and I'm not sure what I'm going to do about it yet, but I want to address it. Oh well Blake has a bit of. . . of . . . something to do still, but I think he'll be okay. As for Raymond Henry, well he didn't get to be as well off as he is by being a fool. Reggie must have his good points, I just haven't figured them out yet.

Blake pulled the shower curtain back and reached for his towel. For a school with as many rich kids as Graydon, you'd think they could afford more than a piece of cheap plastic for the showers. Then again, the dorms were not the housing of choice. As the 'most affordable' option, the majority of students who lived there didn't qualify as the 'well heeled.' But the place fit his family's budget, wasn't far from practice and he and his roommate got along well. At least they did so far. Coming out
