Sometimes the obvious, while we hope it will not come to fruition, should get better attention. It is probably clear to everyone that this is a recipe for disaster but like so many of us, we ignore the signs and follow our hearts. Um ... not that I would know from experience

How many times have I ended up saying something that lame? (a lot) How many times has there been this awkward, fuzzled cough or just plain silence, or quick change of topic? (just as many) In my opinion, it makes Peter and stand-up guy to laugh anyway. Saves face and it's simply a nice thing to do. I mean, how much does a laugh cost, huh? Hmmm, again, even this early in the story you foreshadow the major points of conflict that make up this story. Actually, multiple times--Peter sort of jokes about it at this stage--but it's enough to get a sense of that meaning more to him... Good stuff. Oh, and the tension between them--Spot On. Really, really good. If I had to pick between the two - I am not sure who I would say is my favorite. Am I allowed to marry both and we can call ourselves a triple instead of a couple

I think this story got so much better when I had a bit of help. I think if you are going back over this, you will - hopefully - see a bit of improvement as the chapters pass. I know i felt like I learned a lot. I wonder if by reading again - you will think the hints dropped in are not so subtle anymore?

But but but, it's not tomorrow today, and today isn't tomorrow yet so if it's not your birthday in my time zone does it still count? Or do I say HAPPY BIRTHDAY STU!!! Should I say it today, then wait for tomorrow and do it again??? :wacko: Oh well, no harm in doing today and then tomorrow again - . Enjoy this, the last of your teenage years. Do something fun, enjoy yourself, make sure the Facebook pictures are suitably embarrassing so you'll have something to talk about when you're old - say like um... my age? Well you don't think Peter stalked Jason? I mean shows up at the soccer field, waves, calls out, comes out of the locker room at the same time, posts a missed connect? Please these two are stalking each other And you're right it either is good stuff or bad, hard to predict until it happens, right??

Purpose: Chapter 8 is up. I was going to skip a week, but my life got a tad easier when my trial got continued. (which is really just kicking the can down the road because it is going to be tried sooner or later, so it just jams me up another time. ) This is short - no apologies, sorry. Not saying this is funny haha , but ironic yes - so even had he stuck around, Travis had no job anyway Wade is a mistake - last person who cheated on Tyler is dead. Like he wouldn't kill Travis too. Sad as this makes me, kind of like Tyler and it feels wrong Travis is cheating on him

If you hurt children or animals there is something wrong with you. Tyler is surely not right and worse. Travis is being equally stupid - but someone once said - lack of pussy makes you stupid - in this case - lack of good dick made Travis stupid for the first hot guy who showed interest. Gonna be a fun ride I think.

You have an amazing way of ending each chapter with a twist of sorts. Guess I was wrong about Tyler really killing his wife and all - like I said, what do I know anyway.

I have to echo the others and say it was really quite well done. I did have to laugh a tad - not in a bad way, but Tyler got his piece of as before he confided the truth to Travis. I have to say I am not sure I believe yet that this is the truth. I almost wonder if it was a test of sorts. But what do I know right?

For a man of few words, Tyler really out did himself with - I killed her. Not sure if this was by design or not but the post black out part was a tad confusing. But then I suspect having a concussion and it being from his point of view, it would be confusing, right? But not as bizzare as dancing together after he woke up. Sort of reminded me of the first Batman movie when Jack Nicholson was dancing with the Ms. Vale, shooting thing as he went. Now to find out what he meant by he killed her.

Tyler is so . . . IDK the word. He's a character and you keep him in his character quite well. I love the wit you give him. "Well don't mean for a million bucks next time" had me laughing - once I figured it out I've never been in a situation like that, where I was into a dude who was in total denial but still wanted what he wanted, but if I was, I suspect this is what it would feel like LOL

Okay recap blah blah blah etc etc Review - it's hard to write a mysterious character, the urge to give away stuff, tell things you the author know but having quite said yet, is bit, so the fact you are make Tyler so unreadable - aside from liking his dick sucked - is really impressive Me likes

Interesting chapter - seems the old adage when it rains it pours has some legs to it in the Waco area of Texas Nice ending, said so much with so little. - Turns the 'pages' fast to read chapter four

Interesting chapter. Travis sets out to seduce Tyler - I mean come on he really did have that fantasy - and in the heat of the moment he let the little head control. Story flows rather well, you can see the pair in the trailer doing the dirty. Now let's see if Travis regrets it or REGRETS it.

Are they really called 'Single Wides?' Sorry there just aren't many 'parks' in the DC metro area - they seem more of a southern thing - there sure are enough of em near my folks in NC. Very different from the list - nice that you can keep the two so different.

Well I asked an no one answered, so I assume no one is really interested in seeing the places I am writing about in this and other chapters of Purpose. No this was not a crazy dream morphed into a story. I am a total geek, a geek who has a twenty five minute walk to the metro. I have nothing to do so my mind wanders often. This one - Purpose - came to me after seeing Watchmen - I loved the Rorschach charter - he was sort of a vigilante but he had no real power to speak of. So the Gar image resembles him a tad. As for the rest, IDK. I actually started this talking to Jian last fall about it. He seemed interested so I played with it some and wrote the sneak peak, filing it away. Some of the detail came as a result of some in depth conversations with my beta - she who shall remain nameless but whose initials are AnytaSunday This one isn't as crazy as some others I have had, but it is definitely NOT Second Shot lite LOL Just sweet? Not sweet as?

I've been told I ought to have separated the story into two - with that being the end of book one, so think of it that you finished book one and your on to book two. I shall make Purpose not so long and in two parts - see even us old dogs learn new tricks

Sadly the Martial Arts focus is a bit less than the soccer - this was written from Jason's perspective after all. I don't think at this point Darryl has an inkling jason is gay - but what do I know. Feel free to leave as many or a few reviews as you like, I read and love em all
