  1. I've tried dub once (it was DN Angel (a shoujo-anime)) and clicked after a minute right away. Just give me the original voices. ah i see. now i understand the anime more haha. anyway, i read manga as well atm.
  2. i cant say more that im very happy for Dustin. for the both of you ofcourse ^______^
  3. LOL How many Yaoi-manga have you read? I've started Black Butler a few months ago, but the story didn't get me. Even after five episodes. Speaking of Yaoi, I'm watching Sekai-Ichi Hatsukoi at the moment. It's a sequel (I think) of Junjou Romantica ( I think you've heard about this title). Please forgive my rambling and spamming.
  4. I'm sorry, I just read this horrible news : ( But I'm glad that he's fine now and I hope it stays that way ofcourse. Can't wait to read more about his positive progress = D

    Glee

the finale wasnt that amazing, but I'm glad that they didn't made it in a cliché ending where they're going to win the Nationals and stuff. Anyway, overall I'm going to miss this show a lot. One of the many shows/dramas I've watched that made a huge impact on me...
  6. if you mean the Japanese anime then *raises both hands* me too = ) i LOVE anime, although i watch the more mature ones now. For example I've watched Death Note and Black Butler atm. Hellsing was a bit too cruel for me. I watch mostly malexmale anime actually.
  7. I just read these suggestions and I noticed that I do a lot of things wrong. Like eating before sleeping and non-ecercise XD Thnx for these suggestions. I am soo going to follow some suggestions here

    Glee

A kiss (was it a kiss? Or did they even go further? *winkwink*) between Kurt&Blaine!!??? Need to watch that episode as soon as I have time for it. I can't wait to watch that episode online!!
  9. I got hooked up as well frm the very first episode. Hell, from the very first minutes. So that means I'm a Gleek ( Glee + Geek = Gleek). I have to say that I understand some people who can't stand the rambling and stuff about this show, but I gotta say it has some concepts and stories not only about some teenagers who like to sing and dance. The backgrounds of some teachers is where we also can relate too. And some teenagers too... Anyway, it is a must-watch. I guarantee that it is not a waste of time, for those who are interested. And like Trev said; it is not a crime for us babbling about this show. It is directed by guy who happens to be gay, and some characters are gay even in real life.
  10. may he rest in peace

    Hello

    Hello *waves* and welcome
  12. read a few until now, but the very first and best story I've ever read was It started with Brian by Dan Kincaid (and finished by Adam Phillips). a must-read!
  13. ah yeah! ive read about him. poor boy may he rest in peace
  14. lol, I get what you mean with cute. And I agree about the fact that Utada Hikaru sounds way different/better than an average Japanese pop singer. And what did you say? the Nobody dance?? LOL I so would like to see that.
  15. I've read a bit of chapter one and i love it already. thnx!
  16. Cool! I'm sure gonna check it out = D thnx!
  17. sounds interesting. im always in for some humor : ). thnx!
  18. ive heard about this news about a couple hours ago. this is so heartbreaking to see those people struggling All my condeleances to the family/friends of the members here who live there (or not).
  19. also you, thank you for telling your story. it really helps me to think more about having suicide thoughts. everybody has or will be having this moment where it pops in your mind that turns you upside down and washes those thoughts away. maybe its because im sensitive, but you're story made me cry as well. like you said, what if you couldn't see those fireworks anymore My condoleances for your friend.
  20. Hi all member so this site! As you can already guess, I would like to know some recommendations based on the theme "Cultural difference". I mean, where the story is mainly about cultural differences, judgments on homosexuality/bisexuality etc. Any culture or environment the maincharacters live in is fine by me. I hope you guys could help me, because I've found two so far: "Get there" and "American differences (if I typed this correctly)" Thanks in advance! Note to admin/mods: I hope I posted this post in the right subforum. If not, where can I move this post into?
  21. I don't how optimistic people do that, but in general i just can't think the positive side of an issue that quick. or sometimes not at all. and now i really want to learn myself too think more optimistically. @ Bumblebee: you're so right. why not embrace it : )
  22. I had a good cry by your comment. Thank you so much for seeing this side of the issue.
  23. If you mean also indie-bands, then here are some I could recommend: Arctic monkeys (already disband actually) Japanese indie bands: andymori ( i think they've got a bit country influence, but i can't really say . just try it out ^^ ) Art-school: try "14 SOULS" Japanese pop bands: Arashi (has a lot of love songs): (examples) "Love So Sweet" "Wish" "One Love" KAT-TUN: "Lovin' U" "Heart Beat" "YOU" There's one Japanese song called "First Love" of Utada Hikaru. It's not from a band, but it is a beautiful lovesong. It is true that Korea (and Japan as well) has a lot of boy- and girlbands even in this decade. Does anybody know how come they don't do that here anymore? Popularity decreased? Couldn't afford such bands??
  24. I've also thought about it many times. I even made plans in my head with all the details around it, but I just couldn't do it. You could say I hadn't that strong feeling of aking the step to it. Anyway, since my teenage years I hurt my arms by scratching them with my nails. I tried a razor, but i was too scared that the blood would stain on my shirt even if I have a bandage on it. What I actually want to say is that the people who made the step to commit suicide, that I really feel for you. I mean I think you must've have these really strong feelings for it. But it's totally not worth it. Seriously, it isn't. But I do find it very brave of you guys telling your stories to unkown people. Or people that you know here. Or just to anyone in general. thank you for tqellng your story here = )
