I'd think it would flattering for someone to quote my work and give me credit than use it and pass it off as their own. Permission is underrated.

Favorite Gay Book and Movie: A Home at the End of the World. While not blatantly 'gay,' I think it was a beautiful portrayal of love and all its idiosyncrasies. Latter Days was an awesome movie, too! Favorite Gay TV Show: Queer as Folk (American version). I know a lot of people complained about it stereotyping the gay community and whatnot, but it was a show about a particular group of characters and those characters became a part of my life. It was literally the ONLY show I've ever HAD to be home for every week. Now I own the series so they're at my disposal! Favorite Gay Person and all around favorite gay everything: My BFF and all his beauty!

I'm a lyric junkie but I believe it's a little of both that makes the song. As other people have said, too, I can like a song but hate a remake of it and vice versa.

How the heck can you reach a limit of positive votes??!! Anyway ... I'm sooooo glad Apocalyptica was mentioned because they are AMAZING! I was lucky enough to see them do an acoustic, in-studio set and they blew me away. Not to mention they are a very nice group of guys. Eicca is gorgeous, too. Tesla ... hell yes! Got to see them this year, as well and they can still rock it as great as ever. As for my favorites, I'm a rocker for the most part but I do have a wide variety of tastes. Alice in Chains (old and new), Shinedown, Iron Maiden, Billy Idol, Billy Joel, INXS, Blue October, Stevie Nicks, Heart, Dave Matthews, Godsmack, Neon Trees, Muse, Lady Antebellum, Neil Young, The Doors, Bread, Jay and the Americans, Prince, Duran Duran ... the list goes on and on. I go to a lot of shows, too. lol
