Power To Shock Dogs 🐕 Ouch; I feel that must be how it is with kidney stones. Yikes 😳 I put a Panansonic Key Locatot on my cat’s harness for when he goes out with me; it plays a tone when located that gets quicker and louder with proximity. Without training, he usually comes out of the bushes or from under vehicles to come to me when he hears it; no shocks needed…yet.

Even though he is just my neighbor boy by relationship, he spends A LOT of time visiting me. I have to remind him he should ring the doorbell or at least announce himself as he walks in. 🤦‍♂️ I’ve even been awakened in my bed as he stands there asking if I’m getting up now. Tonight he came back over after dinner just to play games on the phone while laying next to me reading. He can be a radical random vector at times, but he can also be very helpful and precious when he wants. Many places I go, people think he’s my grandson and ask where he is when not with me. 😆 Yes, I like when he wants to help me or go with me on supply runs. I miss him when he’s not around, but time is still on my side for now; he’s 9yo.

That’s another reason to hate all this digital migration; it’s just not as believable to say the dog ate your hard drive or erased your cloud storage.

Given how the first introduction then first team meet went and the skipped request for Joel to see him, I think the coach has probably had his eyes opened as to seeing Joel as more than a regular student. Does the coach have the drive and compassion to see Joel needing help? If the coach is all about numbers and wins, then he’s lost Joel, but if he’s about helping boys learn and love the game, the sportsmanship, and while developing team/community skills then he may have his chance. Approach with care and learn what Joel needs and wants; deep down, not the jerseys, but the connection and his drive. The last coach may have been great, but we don’t see much evidence that he knew Joel beyond the team leader. Where was the depth of knowing the boy and what made him tick? Will teens talk to you, not unless you show convincing interest in helping them.

It’s rather common for many parents to allow siblings to invite a few guests to their sibling’s birthday party. So given that the twins are family; Gavin, Davin, Colt, and well meaning but slightly mischievous Celia could be inviting…maroon team members. Celia would invite a parent that happens to have a kid on the team, that would naturally be parent invited (even pushed if necessary). Could that parent also be the coach? 🤣 😈 😇

Ahhh, the wonderful thing about the unmentioned is they think you haven’t noticed and they’re good. Mom’s revenge is when they give you grandkids and you HINT at those many stiff socks or dried stains they can now learn to deal with. 😬 Way to go mom, possibly decades in the making, the burn of their embarrassment…yet it tells them to respect the grandkid’s perceived privacy too. We all still need moms to put things in perspective. I was the third f three boys and my observations gave me a chance to do turnabouts on the parents; particularly dad. He was very strict, especially on curfew. I remember his many times telling my brothers, late is late…whether 1 min or one hour, it’s the same punishment. So as I started enjoying teen outings with a friend driving, we pulled into the driveway 6 minutes late, I told my friend it’s too late now…so we left to go back out for 2 more hours. I told my dad that I saw is light come on and he knows I was only a few minutes late and it was due to an accident slowing traffic. If the punishment is the same then I’m going to enjoy as long as I can. 😆 He actually started being a little more flexible than previously, and of course my brothers complained that he gets to do more than we did. 😂 I just said I’d learned from their experiences…they could have gone back out too!

Who is really pulling the strings, as it seems the agencies have breaches in protocols and security, and the bad guys seem connected by extension.
