    Chapter 4

Well then, I completed Intro to Parkinson’s back in college; perhaps 101, 201, and maybe even 301. After that, I don’t remember…it’s all a little hazy, the 1970s that is. 🤷‍♂️

    Chapter 4

A great chapter…but if you stayed up hoping for a hot steamy showers, then a cold shower might have surprised you. But then again, so for the boys show promise to get up to their own mischief; just wonder who’s going to catch them first, cause I don’t see them hiding this for long.

    Chapter 4

Quite a load for Troy to be carrying. It got to be tough on Eric as he knows the life Troy has had and that he’s not ready to take over the ranch yet. Legacy being what it is with big ranches and farming, I know Eric must feel he has to give Troy a kick start on growing up quick…did he perhaps sense something in Morgan himself, something that would be the ultimate therapy for Troy? Another great but tough Chapter @kbois. It’s good to see the youth truly coming of age and becoming better together; yup, two teen brains definitely have a better chance at solving adult issues…as long as they challenge themselves and each other.

    Routine

Thank goodness it remained mostly safe and routine for the 6 pack of Marines. I could easily feel the stress of the unknown for Randy; his loan came at increased risk; working with new people and just being more exposed outside the base wire in general. Kent has become more observant of his immediate surroundings, like several other Marines apparently have. Hopefully that helps him find more comfort and distances the nightmares of battle ghosts, but also hoping that doesn’t diminish his focused and observant long range eye. These guys are building a friendship never to be forgotten; it could become a part of forever friendships that even relocate these buddies in life after military. It’s a brotherhood cemented in bonding beyond what many will ever understand. It’s cured in a hostile environment where someone having your back and your trust has no other distractions and options that civilian life would offer. Such imprinting, bonding, and becoming a part of the others to make up the whole is a powerful thing.

Is that for you or are you saying Brits are better at being annoying? 🤣

Just exercising memory recall and projecting. The body may not be 16yo but the mind sure can be!

    Chapter 3

Much the same here. It’s sad but yes it was self driven while executing a premeditated action to murder his twin; it just seems to have backfired on him.

Oh, those boys will be writing their own script on those sacred walls, the type of which we wish we were a fly on the wall. Yup, that tiny chamber will be a hole-e sight of baptisms and praise to the lord.

Oh they get warnings but they are generated internally, so they don’t quite understand the big deal when it says something rather common…large dropping.

    Chapter 3

I would be suspicious of the cows going off the Cliff in the first place; spooked? By 4 or maybe 2 legged animal is my question, but ironically Tyson decided to dive in and investigate first hand… or horn.

    Chapter 3

Yah, possession is 9/10 of the law; so finders keeps works. They’re super charged hormonal man child’s! Oops, that puts us back in the shower again…

    Chapter 3

I don’t know how much hot water the cabin has but that spoils the sexy sights of seeing the steam swirling off those young fit hard bodies.

I’m kinda with ya on that. I have to read definitions but in this day and age of Wikipinions as definitions it’s even worse. Ironic that I now regret getting rid on my old World Book Encyclopedias; at least editorial and publishing standards presented a reliable source. My young 10yo neighbor boy looked up the definitions of Hotel vs Motel and wanted to share his expanded knowledge. I was trouble that the so called AI definitions gave such a bastardized definition for long known and established understandings; it made Motels sound like holiday or residence suites or apartments.

Movies like Damien and The Good Son come to mind.

    Chapter 3

Hmmm, 🤔 what little 4 legged critter would dare? Those little Devils can be like a wolverine once engaged; actually maybe a snapping turtle lying in wait in the mud is more appropriate.

    Chapter 3

Hopefully they had full confirmation and funeral services that left no doubts of his expiration. Is so sad the difficult position, many family members and parents experience when faced with difficult children or family members. The overwhelming sense of love, compassion, and obligation, often puts them and other family members at risk. Yet, banishing a child to psychiatric facilities, especially one that may not be the best funded or staffed, is a heartbreaking and retching decision for those caught in such situations. Poor Troy is bearing guilt that is not his to own. Tyson was on a premeditated murder path, and Troy had no choice, but to defend himself. But likewise, in Tyson‘s increased rage. It sounds like he may have committed to an attack path and carried too much momentum to save himself from his own demise. It is a heartbreaking story and memory for Troy to carry and understandable that he would share something so personal with the youngest ranch hand, his father has ever hired. With the strong connection, close in age, and with the ranch hand familiarity and commonality they share, it’s understandable how Troy feels the need to share with a person he already feels he will be sharing many aspects of his life with in becoming months.. After Troy‘s confession of the guilt he carries and the truth that Morgan sees in that, along with his near fainting flashbacks, we have to wait and see if Mason will pour his heart out and share his deepest secret at this time so early in their meeting and bonding. One gets the sense that the boys feel that same pull and urge to share in their bonding, but we are still only one day in to Morgan’s arrival at the ranch. At least he has given Troy some more tidbits of his history; such as months on the road camping out and the tough history he had with his uncle.

    Chapter 3

Ironically, under many of the old homesteading and tenancy rules, they may actually own that property now. Some are strict stating full time residency but upon looking that pertains more to the suitability of the structure and facilities demonstrating a residence versus people claiming homestead on shooting stands, out-houses, etc.. The permacy of the facilities including power, cooking, cold food storage, and shower/toilet makes a strong argument of significant presence. Yup, two in a tight shower facility just means more rubbing and less water used to rinse. One may think the lower extremities would be lacking a good wash, but they obviously haven’t ever taken time to enjoy a full leg and foot mingling; it can be rather erotic if done with intimacy and patience.
  20. Well, it seems the young nephew came in at full ice breaker speed and cleared the path for all, before anyone even knew what had happened. With the ice broken Martin and Nathan were able to host a great and more casual dinner gathering with family. Hopefully Nathan’s family will respond just as well when Nathan breaks the news with them.
  21. The cold cruel reality of conflict. The face of the enemy isn’t any older than those staying before the mirror. It doesn’t make them any less the enemy or the threat to your life or those about you. While Mason is viewed as older and well seasoned, he in reality is probably only a few years older. One must grow up quickly and focus strategically to lead and survive the hostile environment. I believe Kent has the correct assessment of what to say in the letters. It’s tough enough to live it, but do you really want to paint the picture so as to make your loved ones live through that too? Those tales can remain for later fireside chats or moments on reflection…when the loved ones don’t have to worry whether you’re safe or that you’ll return home.

Where is that 🤦‍♂️ emoticon? Then again, it does bring work purpose to that person Halloween Treat grab bowl; and who’s gonna miss a few items when so many remain….hide all those wrappers though.

    Chapter 2

There’s more territory and time zones west of west coast time. Living near the international date line would be nice, wake of the old day and step across for drinks time…yup, it’s 5 o’clock somewhere.
