Sad, but even if it wasn’t true, for the damage to lives and to country, Mac has sown his own bed. Going overboard to protect a treasonous, murderous, and greedy bastard, is beyond me. One would hope to leave him to the harsh elements…no, not the Canadian weather, but as a source of intel for life and country, it truly does make you want to breakout the ole foot water pan, car battery, and jumper cables. Cruel? Explain your compassion and protections to all the families having to bury their loved ones, blatantly murdered in an engineered mutiny against the democracy using treasonous espionage against the constitution, government, and citizens.

Indeed, we have him offsite…for his own safety!

Chapter 7 - Home Alone
Philippe commented on ChromedOutCortex's story chapter in Chapter 7 - Home Alone
Some police can be so wrapped up in playing detective take they fail to see the inhumane treatment they give family members. Yes, mom was injured but no history of domestic violence or abuse had been recorded previously, so why at this time does the policemen think they have to play Columbo while Kris is distraught with concerns for the proper care of his mother. Hey Dick Tracy, am I being detained? Do you see evidence, not suspicions, of foul play readily available? Otherwise, I’m going to the hospital and you can join me there. -
But the legal avenues take time and the bigger fish is the objective, so jeopardizing a case on MacIntyre is well within the playbook. After all, how much can they charge him with if he didn’t have direct knowledge of the use of his intel? Accessory to this and that, but no one seems to tackle the treason charges these days.

No, the mindset of the person plays very much into the interrogation; lack of sleep and thought processes are just a mess. The bigger argument to me was that it would all become public knowledge and a circus.
-
Yeah, the fiction seems so real…until that lawyer line; there would be lawyers lining up at a chance to free a heinous criminal just to add to their own boasting dossier; their soul for future earnings multipliers…no problem.

YES, my wish come true….i wished for more wishes. 🤣 😈

Ahhh, but agencies don’t stop normal business or function just because the military oversight for their operations. All local, state, and national functions continue; so the General doesn’t run trash collection nor does he oversee all routine intelligence that the agency still has responsibilities for. Any intelligence related to their emergency operations would be shared with the military and only actionable when authorized by that emergency authority. Hmmm, routine intelligence requires much feet on the ground type investigations, so military/civilian counter parts may very well play within this domestic military authority. The knife cuts both ways. The General may have oversight and command, but it’s limited within the scope of the emergency power authorization. He still has to cede to civilian authority otherwise you’ve created a military dictatorship; therefore, justification for actions is still alive and well; accountability is not suspended for him personally either. So even General Patsy has to move discretely within his plausible narrative. I’m sure there’s much room for overlapping look and see…oops, the imminent threat required action to include on sight interrogation. 🤣….Here’s what we have General Patsy.

Yup, the hammer of his narrative of fictional enemy they made up of The Order, the failure of the government intel department and it’s heads, and the blatant demeaning nature of assuring Carter that you’re subordinate and have nothing but failures and fallacies to show; well done, General Asshat, Sir. Maybe we should just shadow your superior intelligence organization, observing only, while we do an internal review? That would also allow us to learn from your superior organization and leadership, would it not, General Crisis Management?

Webbles wobble but they don’t fall down! Note; the majority of the offensive was technology driven…low manpower and very traceable in both production origins and the money trails. So that may be a strategic exposure that helps unwrap some of Father’s logistics trail. Likewise, this mole situation has to have left a footprint somewhere along the way. 🤲

But Trace was coaching using the feet vs knuckles…so there is room for plausible deniability with the knuckles all fair and fine.

Given the timeline and events known thus far, I think your spot on.

Careful with the punishment, as life is playdoh…when you squeeze it, then it just goes elsewhere. So when the ole tomcat is a bad boy and you make him stay outside as punishment…. Ok says Mr Tomcat, see you in a few days while I suffer this terrible freedom….ahem, punishment laid upon me. 😗

Why break an arm…when a mere finger or two will do? 😬 Oops, was that thought out loud? Oops duplicate, perhaps I was making sure we’re planning the throwing hand; hard to spiral that ball without finger control. 😃

My mind read that initially as the WarCocks crowing…which I guess is somewhat the meaning anyway. 🤔 🤷♂️

Hmmm 🤔, you’ve obviously not had a good team beach party or camping trip…where the cheering and romping is somewhat public even if behind a thin tent wall. Yet the hormonal wave washes through the campsite and if you don’t hookup then you’re…gay; or maybe the visit to the wrong tent was intentional…and that was definitely gay. 🤣

Anger, frustration, agitated, but yet showing restraint; not to be a pushover but letting them know he can be himself despite their arrogance. He admitted the Celia that he is going to take the horse riding more seriously 😳, and that the wore Celia’s choice of clothes style and colors…he’s taking big steps; new home, new parent/guardians, new friends, and new foster siblings. Will he go for the new team? As commented earlier, he has come to reason he has to wear maroon, be maroon…a Warhawk, though it feels wrong, but perhaps more acceptably safe than facing the old friends, family, and teammates that never knew the real Joel. So why not wanting to face the team, and therefore the coach…at that time, so he did turn from going with Davin, but only as he was about to when Celia’s arrival was announced for his prior appointment with her. I strongly agree, he wants baseball, it’s part of him and grounds him, but the decision was still just a little rushed given the events of yet another dynamic day with classmates….and Colt. Colt is finding comfort and trust in speaking with Joel; interesting. Perhaps knowing Joel can relate and will always be near when around the parents. Not necessarily taking off the heat, but by also being a little shared comfort when untimely frustrations grow; his silent but understanding sounding board. Ironic too that Joel’s homeroom teacher, Mrs Finch, has taken interest. On the surface she’s doing as she should for a teacher, yet, she seemed to show a little more understanding and compassion than …just doing her job. Maybe it’s just me, but there seems to be a little more support perhaps with reason; you go Mrs Finch!

Sighing, I tucked my laptop and books against my side and made my way down the hallway, part of me wanting to turn around and follow him. To try to see myself in maroon and playing the traitor. It would be easy to fall into place, be someone I’m not instead of someone I’d rather no one know at all. If that made me a traitor, then I was going to have to prepare myself for being one. I took this last paragraph to be Joel considering himself a maroon Warhawk; easy to fall into place of someone he’s not; at least not yet, but seeing beyond the Templeton orange is still too new. All this against the backdrop of returning to Templeton where he is being someone he can’t let other know. So while both feel wrong 😑, he is starting to feel he needs to try…on the maroon colors and be the traitor they are calling him. I think we are seeing him shift already; on this, his second day. I wouldn’t be surprised that Celia learns from Joel that the coach wanted to see him, and she brings him back to see the coach in encouragement to fulfill his promise to Trace, and her,…to give it (all encompassing it) a chance. From the early morning fence rail, can you not see you are a part of us, of here with us, that this is home?

Someone as suave as Neal seems unlikely to have just stubbled across Jake; nor does his comments of keeping distance from the escorts while he likewise keeps them on such a tight phone leash. Something doesn’t add up with Neal and I believe Killian to be in danger; perhaps the feelings Judy has had puts that dager rather close too. Keep that USB away from your computers; use a stand alone and without any info to be compromised.
