  1. Winter is my favorite season. I love bundling up in layers of clothes and feeling all warm and secure. What I hate is snow. And frost. And sleet. And hail. And of course cleaning snow and frost and sleet and hail off my damn car that seems to go out of it's way to attract snow and frost and sleet and hail. Still, winter is awesome.
  2. I'm a pretty private person in real life so I never really felt the need to shout it to the world or anything, but I did tell my parents. I couldn't really get around that one, lol. I told my mom in an email when I was 500 miles away and told her to tell my dad so I'm not sure what their initial reactions were. They're perfectly fine with it though. My dad is actually more cool about it than my mom. He has no problem asking about my boyfriend but my mom never knows what to call him. It's always something like "So how's your..um, friend?". lol.
  3. I kinda go back and forth. Sometimes I'm all mature and serious but like literally the next second I can be giggly and kid like. It's weird. When I was a kid though, like from 15-17ish I used to love acting more mature than my age. I liked being a contradiction, young yet "wise beyond my years" or some crap like that. Maybe I'm making up for it now, lol.
  4. Oh, totally. I find myself telling things to strangers that I'd never even think of telling my parents or RL friends all the time. For the exact reason you said too. If a stranger gets freaked out by something you lost, what, maybe a few days of emails or IM conversation? If someone in your daily life gets freaked out you have to deal with that every freaking day.
  5. Even though you are much more active than me I shall welcome you! Oh and I shall see your awesome emoticons and raise you a :mace: an :axeman: and a . I like to think he's playing an awesome, high energy song while the other two fight it out.
  6. Sometimes I'll think about what the characters in the story might do next, assuming they didn't all die or something. I kinda like to imagine where characters might be in 10 or 15 years after the end of a story but I always take "The End" to mean that there's no more to the story. I don't expect a second part. Actually I tend to get annoyed if people add a sequel after saying The End, I think "No! You already resolved everything! They're happy. Don't drag it out." I think a lot of people just like certain characters so much that they want to keep reading about their lives and what happens to them. The thing is most people don't understand or think about how hard it is to keep thinking up new things for characters to go through without it getting boring, repetitive or utterly stupid.
  7. You don't need to go to college to learn how to speak properly. This type of thing should be taught in high school English class instead of making kids read so called "great literature" as a substitute for teaching. Basic grammar isn't reinforced nearly as well as it should be in middle and high school but that's what happens when you teach kids to pass tests instead of how to use the lessons in everyday life. Ok I need to stop before I go on a rant. God I hate public education in this country!
  8. I met my boyfriend online and we've been together for over three years and for the most part all my online friendships have been better than my real life ones. I'd say I'm very pro-online social life, lol.
  9. I've been cheated on way too many times to ever put up with it again. I'd be willing to forgive almost anything if I was truly in love but cheating I can't deal with. No matter how strongly I feel for someone once they cheat they're gone. I don't care if they get drunk or confess the night after, if you truly love someone you won't have a "moment of weakness" or put yourself in a situation where something like that could happen. As for "once a cheater always a cheater"? Well, I believe that people can change, but most of the time they won't. If someone does it once then in my eyes they're more likely to do it again even if it was just one time.
  10. So many.....I'm totally pathetic when it comes to movies and crying. I can't even watch Final Fantasy: Advent Children without crying at the end. Every. Damn. Time. >_< So I try my hardest not to watch sad movies.
  11. This is just one more reason why I'll never join a social network site. When did the idea of privacy die?
  12. It's a misspelling of Chyort, which was the name of the villain in the book Psychic Warrior, which was my favorite book way back when I started using it. (15 I think) Anyway according to the book it was the Russian word for "devil" so being the good little wannabe goth boy that I was, lol, I thought that sounded pretty damn cool and started using it on forums and in RPG's. By the time I realized I spelled it wrong I had like 10 different website accounts under the name and I liked it better this way so I never changed it.
  13. Definitely online stories. Not just on this site but freaking everywhere. I usually don't get addicted to things, like at all, but for some reason for the past few months I can't seem to let a day go by without reading at least a few chapters of a story. It's consumed my life >_> But in a good way. lol. Also I'm kind of addicted to Dexter. I need season 5 on DVD now!
  14. I've been on three real dates in my entire life. One ended with me almost getting into a fist fight with the girls dad and the other two, with a different girl, were decent enough. All my relationships start out online though so by the time we end up meeting we're past the "get to know you" part and into the "hanging out as an only slightly awkward couple" part.
  15. That's hilarious. I wonder how much they charge for that advice?
  16. Thank you guys for the welcome Don't worry about being nosy, I love questions, haha. Nor do I mind being hugged One last thing, I'm loving the emoticons here. I'm a bit of an emoticon whore so this is like heaven for me :2hands: I mean come on how is that not the coolest thing ever?
  17. Her and the lady that called 911 because McDonald's ran out of chicken nuggets need to find a way to have a kid together......
  18. Hi. Grrr I hate doing these, I never know what to say, but this topic keeps taunting me..... So hi, um, awesome site you guys got here b^_^
  19. Eh, personally I'm against almost all form of censorship but as long as other songs on the radio are getting swear words beeped out I don't see much of a problem. It'd be better if people realized that words only have the power you give them but, well, there are a lot of stupid, oversensitive people in the world. What can you do?
