  1. Dammit. I just lost the back to my phone and there's no way I'm gonna get a replacement before tomorrow.......stupid rapture.....
  2. I agree. I almost always make sure a story says complete before reading it. I will sometimes make an exception for a story from someone who updates regularly though or if the premise sounds really good. Usually I'll read the end of the last posted chapter to make sure it doesn't end in a cliffhanger then read whatever's been released so far.
  3. Wow, sounding awfully defensive there CDC. I can't imagine why. What kind of idiot would wanna prepare for a fake emergency like a tornado or a tsunami when the threat of a zombie outbreak is constantly looming over our heads?
  4. Nope. I've never bought into the whole "you always help family no matter what" thing. Just because someone gave birth to me or has the same family members as me doesn't mean I'm in any way obligated to help them when they screw up their lives. That being said, if my parents were in trouble I'd help them if I could because I love them and they're generally good people but I'd be doing it because I wanted to and could, not because of some sense of familial duty or whatever.
  5. *is so very tempted to quote Conan* 1. My boyfriend 2. Surprise gifts 3. Metal Gear Solid sequels. I'm easy to please.
  6. I've never seen The Cleveland Show or American Dad but I HATE Family Guy. It's not funny and it's terribly overquoted. In my opinion anyway.
  7. I would have watched if they sang "Gang Fight" instead.
  8. Honestly, I'm not sure if I'd choose to do anything differently. There's always one event that pops right into my mind whenever I see something like this. I won't get into it because that'd be a novel in it's own right but it ended up with me trying to kill myself and getting out on a bunch of meds that had some f**ked up side effects. The problem is that shaped so much of who I am now and my views on life, love, relationships and, in a roundabout way, led to me taking the first steps that eventually got me with my boyfriend. I dunno how much of the person I am today I'd be if I undid that and I'm not sure undoing the bad stuff that happened as a result would be worth it.
  9. 30. It's the age I'm dreading the most.
  10. If it was cheap, sure. I'd try to talk him into an action figure first though. Not for any "mah son ain't playin' with no damn girly doll" reason, but because they have better articulation and are a lot more fun to play with, plus dolls are usually a lot bigger and it wouldn't fit in with the rest of his toys.
  11. I'd always been pretty into dinosaurs and when I saw Jurassic Park for the first time it became my greatest ambition to be a paleontologist. For about a year. Once it sunk in that I'd actually very rarely ever get to dig up dinosaur bones and that most of the time I'd just be researching I lost interest pretty quickly. Same thing with wanting to be an archeologist after watching Last Crusade for the first time. I wanted to be a cop because of Die Hard, a smuggler because of Star Wars, a Colonial Marine because of Aliens, a bad boy with a dirtbike because of Terminator 2 and a bunch of other "professions" that never lasted very long. I gave up on most of them once I realized that they were impossible or too much work or, in the case of the dirtbike thing, for the very un-bad-boy reason of my mommy not letting me get a one, lol.
  12. You know, I don't usually like Rise Against but that was a really good song. Thanks for posting it b^_^
  13. Wow, talk about a size complex You'd think a culture so into bisexuality would appreciate a big penis lol
  14. Suburbs, easily. I hate the country. Way too boring and open. I hate cities, way too many people, too much crime and it's way too expensive and/or depressed. I like that suburbs are private but not desolate or isolated and I love the easy access to chain stores. I couldn't live anywhere that didn't have a GameStop or an Applebee's within easy driving distance, lol.
  15. That's actually really interesting......except now I have images in my head that I can't get rid of
  16. Nope. For years I've had a much stronger desire for guys than girls so I've never really ever fully lost the desire for guy sex. There are times when I don't wanna have sex with my boyfriend but that's more because I'm tired or have a headache or we're just about to leave to go out and he gets all grabby.
  17. Not at all. Some of her song are catchy but I have no interest in writing songs so there's nothing for her to inspire.
  18. Well, I can't speak for all bisexual's but for me it kind of fluctuates. Like I'll be really into guys to the point where seeing straight porn just totally kills my mood one week and the next I'll find myself getting hard just thinking about boobs. I'd never, ever date a girl again though. Girls are fine for sex, but I have a much deeper emotional connection with guys.
  19. While I completely agree that it's not a choice and people are the way they are I've known people who "chose" to be "gay" as a teenage rebellion thing. So that's one reason someone would choose it. A really stupid reason though.
  20. Didn't we fight a war a while back that kinda got us out of having to care about stuff like this? Eh, I've never given a crap about celebrity weddings and since I'm not in the UK that's all this is to me, another overhyped celebrity wedding.
  21. See, now this topic just went from "mildly interesting" to "check every 5 minutes."

    Born

I wouldn't say no to being born obscenely rich but other than that I'm mostly content with my life so I'd keep it pretty much the same.
  23. Usually music gets me started. Almost every idea I've ever had came to me from listening to a song or from the title of a song. For some reason though I can't listen to music when I write, it distracts me too much, I need white background noise like an air conditioner or TV static. Reading other people's stories that kinda have the same tone as the one I'm writing gets me in the mood to go back to a specific story and sometimes just getting a really good idea can have me planted in front of the computer for 5 hours. Oh and feedback, there is nothing more motivating that hearing that someone else likes something you wrote and is waiting for more.
  24. You are quite welcome, although you should probably be thanking my unhealthy obsession with Arnold quotes, lol.
  25. Strangely enough I've only ever been asked the "give or take" question by gay or bi guys and it's always in sort of a "shop talk" type of thing, like "oh, that's what you do? Here's what I do" deal so it isn't really annoying. Honestly the most annoying/embarrassing question I've ever gotten was from my mom when she asked me what "bisexual" meant and I had to explain it to her over and over until she got it while we were in a semi crowded restaurant.....
