  1. @ aditus Neither German nor English are my first languages but I found German to be a much easier language to learn. I've been learning English since I was 4 years old but I can't say I have mastered it yet. That happens because of all these irregular forms (also because most of my sentences are fragments which I don't know how to fix. Maybe next Grammar Rodeo? ). I can say I still haven't completely understood That vs Which. I hope I figure it out some day.
  2. Hello, Hyding. Welcome to GA. GA is a writing community and so much more. We're avid and passionate readers, critics and most importantly, a family. You will make some great friends if you stick around. You will recieve all the help you require to grow as a writer. Do not hesitate to post your work. Good luck!
  3. Thank you! That cleared everything.
  4. I'm sorry but I do not understand what 'prompt responses under 1000 words must be posted as part of a collection' means. Could someone please explain? P.S. You could also direct me to 'Prompt Rules' already posted, if any. Thanks!
  5. Happy birthday Kiltie!
  6. I had not heard the word 'gotten' until very recently. It was always to get-got-got. But I see it being used in modern American literature a lot. Thanks for explaining.
  7. Happy Birthday!!
  8. Hey Bhavi, so glad to see another Indian at GA. So happy that you finally decided to join the family. Welcome!
  9. Happy birthday, Lenny!
  10. This came at such a perfect time. I have been pestering anyone I could find for a story recommendation. I like 'love' as the main theme of the stories I read but not at the cost of them being too cliché. This sounds like the story I have been looking for. So much going for this one. I can't contain my excitement. Thank you Valkyrie, for the review.
  11. These prompts would require some serious creativity. I've been wanting to do a Prompt for the longest time but couldn't because of my tight schedule. Now that there are multiple options, maybe I could try one of these.
  12. This was a great interview. Thank you GA for connecting us to the authors whose writing has touched our lives in some ways. I really can't wait for the sequel. Soon, please?
  13. I read the story over the span of some years as and when Adam posted, desperately waiting for the next fix! It was well worth the wait every time. And yes, the box of tissues were always handy. lol
