    @ aditus Neither German nor English are my first languages but I found German to be a much easier language to learn. I've been learning English since I was 4 years old but I can't say I have mastered it yet. That happens because of all these irregular forms (also because most of my sentences are fragments which I don't know how to fix. Maybe next Grammar Rodeo? ). I can say I still haven't completely understood That vs Which. I hope I figure it out some day.

    I had not heard the word 'gotten' until very recently. It was always to get-got-got. But I see it being used in modern American literature a lot. Thanks for explaining.

    I read the story over the span of some years as and when Adam posted, desperately waiting for the next fix! It was well worth the wait every time. And yes, the box of tissues were always handy. lol

    I think I'd forgotten how beautifully you put together 'romance'. This was wonderful! My mind was intrigued by the suspense and my heart wanted to read more about the developments in Drakes and Jake's relationship. The moments were just so superlatively woven! I loved the story! Thanks, Anyta. This was very refreshing.

    Thank goodness Johnathan didn't die! I liked the descriptive and almost humorous touch to the supposedly 'horror' story. I lol-led at 'karate nun-chopping'. I mean, seriously???     I'm a big fan of these kinds of settings for a story. I love strong friendships and love between two people. I have a best friend since the age of 4 and I know how it feels to find the one. We had to just look at each other to know that we were gonna be friends for ever. Your explanation of what a 'soul-mate' means was so perfect. It's not always a 'romantic' bond although it could be. My best friend and I are both straight but we could very well be soul-mates. I know how much separation hurts. I absolutely love all your stories and I'm especially looking forward to this one.     I think I've read this story before! You have edited it quite a bit. I can't wait to get to the part where Daniel and Terry actually give a shot at something between then! Nice chapter!
