Chapter 1 - Dama's Tale
Phoenix1977 commented on comicfan's story chapter in Chapter 1 - Dama's Tale
Interesting story so far, although I can't say I'm happy with what you leave us with at the moment. I strongly urge you to publish the next chapter soon :-) In other words: I'm an impatient guy and want to read more asap :-) -
Chapter 3 was awesome as well. The good thing is you take your time to get us introduced to the characters while making sure enough happens to retain the attention of your readers. Very well done! Can't wait for chapter 4.

Chapter 2 The waiting game...
Phoenix1977 commented on Naptowngirl's story chapter in Chapter 2 The waiting game...
Yep, like I said. Going to love the story. One thing though. You said we'd understand at the end of the second chapter why "what you said would go". Right now I don't understand any of it. -
A well written chapter. There are a couple of things I don't understand, though. At the beginning of the story you mention Drew by name but you keep refering to Tony as "him" and "he". While it's quickly becomes clear you mean Tony unless Drew's bed partner accidently also has a report that was due two days before and their captain was being an ass about that one too. But I think I'm going to enjoy this story. It certainly has a good start.

“The massacre at Wall Street, by several media already christened “The Wall Street Slash”, left even larger wounds than already thought. 237 people are reported missing, among them 180 stock brokers. Police and FBI are busy trying to identify the remains, with help from the Medical Examiners from everywhere in the tri-state area and even personal from the Boston department is being deployed. Earlier today we tried to talk to dr. Jordan Cavanaugh from the Boston Medical Examiners office. Dr. Cava

Hi Conner,There's one more chapter but I'm also working on the sequal. So some of the loose ends will remain just that for the time being.Your guess about Jayden's father would be correct, yes. Although the betrayal goes deeper than you might think ....

The sky above New York City was pitch black. According to the clock it was 5 pm but if people would have said it was the middle of the night Vanessa would have believed it too. Vanessa still had trouble focusing. It was a couple of days now since she woke from her coma and everyone was amazed by her recovery. There were still a few things that didn’t work quite the way they used to but her doctor said she would make a full recovery. “Mrs. Russo, to be honest I never expected you to wake up

The pentagram is one of many wiccan symbols and stands for five magical elements: fire, water, earth, air and iron. Each point of the pentagram stands for one of those elements. But it's also used in science, especially in mathematics. Pythagoras was obsessed by it because the lines relate to each other as the golden number.Originally the pentagram was used as a symbol of white magic but the Catholic Church declared it a satanic symbol since you can see the head of a goat in it when it's turned upsidedown. And because the Catholic Church wanted to descredit everything not Catholic. However, both the supporters of darkness and light agree on one thing: because of it's mathematical and physical characteristics it's a very powerful magical symbol.Yes, I'm working on a sequal. When "The Devil's son" is complete it will become book 1 of the "End of Days Chronicles". But I'm not sure what that will mean in the end.According to the Catholic Church (and most other versions of Christianity) freeing Lucifer from Hell will cause the universe to end: judgement day. Don't know if that's true but that doesn't mean I can't use it for my story, does it?

“How dare you?!” Michael stuttered enraged. “You are a warrior angel while I’m an Archangel and your commander on top of that! How dare you raise your hand to me?!” “I might have been impressed a while back, when you triggered my memory but this act is getting old really fast” Ar’Thurian said, while turning his back to Michael, facing Jayden. “Are you alright, baby?”. “I don’t understand” Jayden said. “I saw the spear piercing your chest. I heard you breath your last breath. How can you st

Good to hear. Three more chapters and than book one of the "End if Days Chronicles" is done. But book 2 is already being written.

A lousy start? And here I thought I had written it quite well.I wrote the dialogue the way I always interpreted the Bible. Most religious people would disagree with me but since this is my story ....Just wait for the next chapter. Our friends are in for some rough times.

I remember dying. I always thought dying would hurt but it was not that bad. Ok, the spear sticking right through me was no picnic and the look on Jayden’s eyes when he realised I would not make it broke my heart but other than that dying was easy. It was the thing that came after dying that was difficult. As soon as it had become black I saw a flash of bright white light and all of a sudden I was floating several meters above the battle ground. Jayden went berserk and slew demons at an in

Well, the story is called "The Devil's son", not "The Angelic warrior" (although that would also be a nice title for a story; maybe a prequel about Ar'Thurian?). So killing Jayden would make little sense and I really felt it was time for someone to die. The big question is, what will this do to Jayden?Well, I always felt that, if the Gates of Hell are somewhere on earth it must be at Wall Street.Next chapter will be coming Sunday.

Without a second thought Arthur had willed his sword to him and beheaded the nightmarish beast that had called Jayden “cousin”. “What was that?” Samuel screeched. The night and all recent events started to take their toll on the young man and he was nearer to a nervous breakdown than he cared to admit. “That was Oni, the son of one of the Fallen and, as such, my cousin” Jayden explained. “All Fallen were, before they fell, sworn brothers, even closer than brothers by blood so they consider

Hi Ramon,I know what you mean when talking about the narrator's point of view. I struggle with that as well. In chapter 7, "Heaven's Law" I tried to write from the characters POV but found that really difficult, especially since some of the characters didn't know each other yet back then. When you say 'm not really showing it, would that mean I don't "paint" the scenes clearly enough? In other words, I'm not really taking you into the story? The review says you wrote this as a review for chapter 1 and, all in all, chapter one is definately not the best chapter of the story. So I hope you keep reading because the story does get a lot better (if I say so myself ).

Don't thank me yet. Still rewriting "The Devil's Son" so still unclear who will be alive to be in the sequel
-
Thanks. I liked it too
-
Hi Mikie,Yeah, all good things must come to an end. But trust me, before the story ends, most things will be clear and explained. Not all, though. Otherwise I wouldn't have material for a sequel.
-
I was expecting Jayden to come back with some kind of sharp witticism - but he was kind instead. Really enjoying the story. Thanks. Hi Conner,And apparently it's working :)Personally I don't think Jayden will ever hurt Arthur intentionally, being it with words or with actions. He loves his warrior angel with all his heart.I almost find it said there are only 5 more chapters left ....Edward

Ok, so the universe has seen some pretty strange couples over the millennia. Take Kal-El and Lana Lang, for example. Or Romeo and Juliet. Or what to think of Caesar and his Cleopatra? All examples of couples who never would have fallen in love if not for a strange quirk of fate. Same can be said for the Volkswagen Beetle Herbie and his Lancia called Giselle or Belle and her Beast. And who knows? Maybe one day we'll witness the marriage of a Earthling and a Martian. Now that would be a sight!

Loving a plan coming together
Phoenix1977 commented on Phoenix1977's story chapter in Loving a plan coming together
Truth is, untill the very last chapter I didn't even know who Belial was in league with. I'm working on a sequal and I think I pretty much know who the bad guys are going to be. I just don't yet who of our good guys are going to survive in order to play a part in the sequal -
Wow! Talking about writer skills! My screen screams "despair" when reading the first chapter. My body screams anger for what Tom's father is doing to him, though. I hope Connor and Ethan find out soon what's wrong with Tom because now he found cutting himself relieves his tension he might really go off the deep end. Good work. Can't wait for chapter 2.

“Hey! You can’t go in there!” the secretary said but Samuel ignored her. It had been four days since Arthur and he saw dr. Wall at CNN. Dr. Wall had been busy. After the story on CNN dr. Wall had been at the White House where president Obama gave him not only a decoration but also practically unlimited financial resources for research purposes. A day later he had a meeting at the UN, with the secretary-general and the director-general of the WHO. The SOB was even allowed to address the general a

"Uuhng! Uhhh! Ohh yeah! Aaahhhh!" and with that last moan Samuel shot his load over his abdomen, his fourth load of today. Of course, being his fourth of the day it was small and without much force. Worse, it didn't satisfy Samuel. It only increased his confusion. And Samuel was pretty confused already for at least the last two days. When he got home after saying goodnight to Arthur and Jayden the other night he had been pacing back and forth through his apartment. And since his apartment was

Detective George Russo felt numb. He sat in the hallway outside the NICU for God knows how long. George didn't know, that's for sure. And he couldn't get himself to get up either. He knew his son was lying only 20 feet away, fighting for his life. As was his wife, 3 floors down, in the ICU. And he needed to get in touch with a mortician to arrange the funeral for his other son and his daughter. George sank his head in his hands and started to cry. How did everything go so wrong? Vanessa and h
