I can see why some people are worried about the phone call between Will and Zach. Yes, Zach did sound a trifle jealous, but this is how it has to be. Zach intimated that he may go to a party this weekend and then asked about Chicago. Will told him about the bar and that he was going to dance. Neither one of them said a thing about hooking up. That was wise. Some of you have griped about the absence of endearments before the call was completed. Now I can't say if Zach knows, but he likely does. Will is high-tech savvy and knows cell calls can be intercepted... Especially back in 2002! So you have to be careful what you say to stay hidden. Cell phones were very prone to be hacked. Still are, but security is much better. I like the idea of Brad and Cam. Let's see where it goes! I'm also curious about any JJ/Alex hookup. It might be fun! Great starting chapters, Mark.

The whore being both Matt and Wade? I can see them teaming up to really whore Alex, should he try that.

Chapter 45: Final Chapter
Al Norris commented on Mark Arbour's story chapter in Chapter 45: Final Chapter
Maybe, maybe not. Everyone keeps forgetting that Wade was starting to fall in love. Could Wade have fallen totally? We will never know. Nope. Wade was Jealous when he found out about Cam. Matt, on the other hand, wished Wade and Alex happiness. Matt was willing to give up his dreams with Wade. That alone shows how much growing Matt had done. Not so much Wade. -
Chapter 45: Final Chapter
Al Norris commented on Mark Arbour's story chapter in Chapter 45: Final Chapter
I really didn't think that Matt and Wade would end up back together. That's not to say that a happy ending couldn't occur. Matt with someone else and Wade with Alex. I know that everyone else may be saying (or thinking) that Wade couldn't be happy with Alex and his form of bland sex. Quite the opposite, if Wade truly loved Alex (Wade is still a douche IMO). Wade has grown some, however. He has finally recognized that his fantasy match-up wasn't quite as thrilling as he envisioned it. LOL! Fantasies almost never are. I see that Matt has done the most growing up of the two. Good on him. Matt has moved from a total grade-school slut to an adult with adult values. Values that finally meshed with many of the things that Wade needed. Great story and a good happy ending. Thank you, Mark. -
Here's what I learned, when I posted a response in my story here at GA: Having HIV does not mean you will get AIDS. They are different. There are pills you can take to lead a normal life. On another site, I was told that taking PREP allows you to bareback with impunity. With this logic, does that mean that if I get an STD I won't have an STI? It's funny how we can change the terms to make something less than it is.

I knew this was going to be a disaster for Matt. Not quite the way I pictured it, though! Alex and his family are cash-poor. Wade has at least a half-billion in liquid assets. Hmm... At this point, I hope that Matt does not turn to his slutty days. He needs to get that MBA. I hope he meets someone who can be his mate. I also hope that Wade burns. 😱😡

That, however, is not how I thought Matt took it. I agree with others who have said that something is up with Cody and Alex Danvers. At the party in Paly, Cody said he was in a committed relationship with Alex. Yet at Jackie's party, it is hinted that Cody still plays around. Then we meet Danvers at Jackie's party: So I'm not quite sure what to expect out of this.

Neither Matt nor Wade know that Brad will be joining them on this European trip. I see nothing but a total disaster for Matt. Other than that, the party was a hit! Especially for Sean and Brad.

Tony and Wade...hmm. At this point, there's really no reason for it not to happen, and I think that they would be very sexually compatible, but I can't see Wade going there. I think Tony would fuck Wade in a heartbeat, but not Wade. Oh, I don't know. Someone needs to take Tony's anal cherry! 🤣

I think that they need to know who was attacked and if this other kid will name Thompson, assuming that's who knocked him about. Only then should Aaron come forth. Doing anything else would not get Thompson put away. Now, just what would Red do with some oil and brake fluid? I can see topping off both the oil and brake reservoirs. Somehow, I don't see Red being that inclined to pay attention to servicing a vehicle—assuming he even owns one.

When I first read Matt's explanation to Will, about relationships, I felt like you did. Then the thought that came to me is that Matt is growing up. If Matt gets into another relationship and follows through, then we will know he has matured. I really hope that this is true. I can also understand why JP tried to sway Brad into keeping the old High School. It was part and parcel of Tonto's legacy. I can also understand Brad's insistence on tearing it down. It had morphed into an evil part of Robbie's legacy. How does one weigh those two things?

Given those rules, I think I can see where Gathan comes in. Gathen is Zack's brother. So if Will's boyfriend is Gathen, then no one would think that Zack and Will were a couple. Then of course, Zack can go through as many girls as is necessary. Until...

If nothing else the Brad/Wade/Matt triangle has given the Will/Zach/Matt triangle the go-ahead to commence! LOL!

The best thing about being around dolphins is that you don't have to worry about sharks. Oh! Did I mention how playful they are? 😃

This is the stuff I was writing about earlier. Matt has no clue why Brad is in Wade's room but immediately gets jealous and jumps to conclusions. Matt hasn't changed. The whole scenario of the previous night feels bogus (is contrived a better word?) to me. From the way Will forgave him to what Matt and Wade did in bed.
-
The writing was on the wall when Wade caved to Matt's demand for an open relationship. Wade wanted a loving and stable relationship and realized, early on, that Matt couldn't commit to that. Moving on, Wade put a foot down on the type of guys Matt could screw. Was that OK? Not in Matt's book, as he tended to violate those rules. Then we have Wade finally wanting to get a little on his own and Matt becomes jealous. Each and Every Time. Sure, when they had the threesome with Wade's attorney, Matt was happy. But it seemed to drive the attorney out of Wade's sex life. Wade needs an emotional connection to enjoy sex with another person. Matt just likes sex and can't understand Wade's "problem." 9/11 occurs and Matt tries to ease his depression with as much sex as he can find. In doing this, he completely ignores his partner. I believe that deep down, Wade still loves Matt. But he has had enough and has to break the chain. Unfortunately, I believe this will put Matt into a tailspin where he may attempt suicide.
-
So Wade is supposed to just sit back and watch Matt fuck everything under the sun? Wade is supposed to be helping Matt in that? How can Wade support Matt, when Matt is never home long enough for a quick handjob, let alone a meaningful conversation? For over a month, Matt has not been around long enough to have sex with his supposed lover... 'Cause he's too busy fucking everything else that doesn't move.

I was so into remembering my swim with the dolphins that I forgot about this! All I can think is that whatever happened, Andy was hiding from the police. That much was obvious.

While you don't see an actual parallel, you don't see the historical analogous path. Regardless, the Strombolian eruptions with Will are part and parcel of the grieving process as it relates to Will.

Like it or not, we could all see what was going to happen. Tony has never been trustworthy. Will knows this and yet still fucks around with him. Thinking with his small head, instead (and this is unusual? Hah!). I can see Will taking Tony back. I just wonder when he will gert fed up with the whole process and call it quits... For real. Matt has done much the same. He is not ready to settle down with a steady partner and may never be ready. So he and Wade have this (sorta) open relationship. Yet every single time Wade finds someone he can be with (sexually), Matt becomes jealous. We've seen it time and time again. Wade hasn't explicitly said it, but he has implied that since this new crisis has begun, where Matt hooks up with anything he can, Matt hasn't been sexually available for Wade. I don't know where this is going. Mark has this (wonderful?) ability to solve problems in unorthodox ways... Well, ways that are not obvious to the rest of us! LOL! I'm not sure, but I think this may be the thing that breaks Wade. I would be sad for that to happen, but who knows? Guess I'll have to keep reading. sigh.

It was early morning and I was out at Huntington Beach. I had caught a couple of nice 3 and 4-foot waves when some fog rolled in and the water stilled and became glassy. After a few minutes, I started thinking of paddling back to shore when something moved across my legs (I was sitting on my board). Like Justin, in the story, I immediately thought of sharks. So I pulled up my legs. Then just to the side of me, up popped a dolphin! I heard the distinctive chittering on the other side. I looked and another dolphin was there and he(?) splashed me! We played around for a few minutes before they got bored and that was the last I saw of them. I was so stoked! It was the best morning I had ever had, even if there wasn't much surf that day.

Chapter 38: Survivors and Victims
Al Norris commented on Mark Arbour's story chapter in Chapter 38: Survivors and Victims
The Mark of a Good Author is when the reading audience identifies with the characters he creates. The Mark of a Better Author is when the reading audience falls in love with the characters. The Mark of a Great Author is when characters die and the reading audience mourns for them. Don't let your head swell, @Mark Arbour! -
I read those lines from this chapter and my heart sunk to my stomach which fell to my feet. I hope the carnage isn't too great within the family. The most eerie thing about that whole day (and many afterward) was not seeing anything in the sky.
