    Chapter 42 S2

However you want to look at it, there are some moms who just can't let go of their little boys.

    Chapter 8

The reveals in this story just keep coming. Am I shocked? No, nothing about these families shocks me. After all, I grew up with Peyton Place!

    Chapter 42 S2

Somehow, after the fiasco with the evil Skinwalkers, I doubt that the Navajo produced any other white Skinwalkers. Since medicine has advanced so much and many of the Navajo never leave the reservation, my thoughts are that this is really the first time they've needed such caution.

    Chapter 5

This chapter got me to thinking. If I thought it was bad being a teen in the 60s, I can't imagine what it would have been in the 40s.

    Chapter 42 S2

Great Chapter! For some reason, I suspect that Devin will keep trying to speed things up and will be confronted by a (some?) Doctor(s) who gets suspicious! Bill? you be living in da past! In the last 12 years, every pair of sweats I've purchased has two front pockets. The better ones even have a back pocket!!

    Chapter 1

I particularly loved how with a few words, she not only could get under your skin, but if you had any secrets, she got those too! Yes. That was sad that we got to say Goodbye to an important character. At any rate, I like how this story is starting... Secrets from Tonto! Who would have guessed?

    Chapter 53

Thank you, Mark. So far in the series, I believe this is my favorite. We will see; there is so much more for me to ingest! 🤣

    Chapter 38

That's my feeling. Oh no, they want him to come crawling back to them. That's why they cut-off all funds.

    Chapter 37

The trance... It's where Wade goes when his father fucks him. He has done that for so long that it has become an automatic defense mechanism. Wade has no real control over it.

    Chapter 32

Something has happened and still happens in Wade's life. Whatever it is, it will most likely happen during the summer break. We can surmise it has to do with anal sex. This is over and above whatever is happening in the political world of his father and family. That part alone would be hell to deal with. Combined? Wade is broken, like so many of us. So the guy (boyfriend) you're with goes off, at a party, and hooks up with a chick to conceal his sexuality. And we're surprised that the boyfriend hooks up with someone else? Teenagers, hormones, uncontrollable emotions... Unless we're perfect, what else would we expect? The real aspect of Matt that I see is that he needs some anger management counseling.

    Chapter 30

Reading this, from you, gets old. You're correct, of course. Yet these are the same reactions you have held against every protagonist in this series.

    Chapter 21

It costs a bit of money, but reading the trial transcripts was enlightening. I agree with you wholeheartedly.

    Chapter 21

There are other sources who have downplayed the "Poster Boy" aspect, claiming it was nothing more than a drug deal gone bad. I suspect this was done to deny what actually happened to Matthew. When I used to live in the city, I saw what happened in those cases. Here in flyover country, I have seen what happens, and it is virtually the same. The type of horror that Matthew endured is not the way bad drug deals end up happening. Death? Sometimes. Bad beatdowns? Generally. Whatever the reasons, the torture that was inflicted upon Matthew does not wholly indicate a bad drug deal. Something more was at the heart of this. The court transcripts verify this (yes, I read them).

    Chapter 14

Yes, it is. Looks like Tim and Guy put on a bit of a show for the Tourists!

    Chapter 6

I've been trying to breeze through these stories, trying hard not to read the comments. Note to all of you folks who have read these before: The various comments are nice, but when you all start revealing things that happen in the current or future series, it really irks me. I suspect it irks others who read these stories for the first time. Sometimes, I feel like it is not worth reading anymore. Mark, it is only your skillful writing that makes it worthwhile! On that note, you had me smiling and laughing from the office scene to the dinner table. I loved it!

    Chapter 19

Considering all the circumstances of Alejandro's upbringing, why does that surprise anyone? We all knew something was up when Alejandro came back to the boat when they were in Cabo San Lucas.

    Chapter 13

I suspect we will have to wait and see! Regardless, working on a trawler can be fun even though it is hard work.
  18. This was a nice homecoming! Yet, I'm worried about that probe and what the earthers are going to do.

    AIDS

For those of you too young to remember, when the Gay community was first hit with this abominable disease, it immediately gained a name: GRID. That stood for, Gay-Related Immune Deficiency. If you think of it, the very name brought about the horror of being gay itself, along with the way straight folk reacted to it.

    Home at Last

This is the first story, that I've read, where the devastation of HIV/AIDS, has had such an impact on the lives of the characters. As sad as it is, I will continue to read.

    Chapter 41 S2

The good Doctor Paladin has forgotten the big picture, I believe. There is not only the bloodwork anomaly, there is also the rapid healing. Added together, his outpatient Doctor (and the colleagues he is consulting) are very much rightly concerned. How does all this affect Devin? The docs won't know until all their diagnostic tests are completed. They may end up not knowing. However, these tests may uncover the secrets that the family is trying to prevent knowledge of.

    Conjugal Visits

Given the clue in an earlier chapter, I'm also going with fisting.
  23. Al Norris

    Chapter 41 S2

Checking for continuous anomalies in the blood is more than just a whim.

    Chapter 41 S2

No. We are assuming that Devin is using his Dad's insurance plan. If he goes AMA (Against Medical Advice) the insurance will not pay.

    Chapter 41 S2

Hmm, one thing that might cause concern is that RBCs (red blood cells) only live about 120 days. So having signs of agglutination for any longer than another couple of weeks (assuming Devin went deer hunting in mid Oct.) would be strange and cause concern. Hopefully, the Doc would not need another blood test. Good chapter that shows there may be medical concerns with being a shifter!
