  1. Thanks Michael. Really they are just there to help people. Sometimes they are great little stories, other times they have lead to full out stories. It all depends but mostly they are just around to help you look at things in new ways. Don't worry if you can't do them or don't like them.
  2. Thanks Michael. I had a bit of fun with this. The idea from the prompt actually came from watching an episode of How I met your mother. They all kept seeing their doppelganger. I figured why not have fun with the idea.
  3. Sexy leather always vexes Evan. GLASS

    Chapter 3

Thank you DK. Here is hoping you enjoy it all.
  7. Thank you Percy. Figured I would have a bit of fun with this one.
  8. No you caught it, Ray didn't. Just one of those things where unless it is normal to you, you put it into a context you understand. So Dad Max for Ray became a stepfather. lol. Glad you liked it.
  9. Can you shop with coupons at the movie theater?
  10. This small figurine I have of a giraffe. It was bought for me by a close friend of my grandmother's when I was five. I remember seeing it and be totally taken it with it. She told me giraffe's were tall and elegant. I remember her being so tall (Dot was 5'11'' when she wasn't in heels and pole thin.), so i commented that it was just like she was. She laughed and bought it for me and I have kept it ever since. Whenever I see it I think of her and grandmother. What traditions do you keep alive at the holidays that your family once did together (for those who are now out on their own) or which do you hope to keep alive once you are with a partner or on your own?
  11. Who was bringing the milkduds and soda?
  12. Third prompt story done and up. This one is called Meeting Alex. https://www.gayauthors.org/story/comicfan/thepromptyousay/3
  13. I’d just dropped Christine and our daughter, Lisa, at the hair place. It was their weekly appointment and their mother daughter time. Needless to say I was sent food shopping and I had Ted in a cart before me. I still thought we were crazy having kids so far apart in age. I mean who needs kids in pre-school and junior high at the same time? While Chris and Lisa were having girl time, getting their hair and nails done, I was taking Ted grocery shopping. I didn’t mind doing the shopping cause it
  14. Whose turn was it to make popcorn?
  15. Okay so pain is not something I am use to. I have been dealing with my back pain but then my diverticulitis acted up as well. Or I am assuming it did. The pain I have been dealing with has been more than I am use to and while I can usually ignore pain to a certain level this is enough to make me stop and drop to my knees. Needless to say tomorrow I doubt I am going to work. Most likely I will be calling the doctor and I won't be surprised if he sends me right to the hospital for tests. Can I tell you how little I am enjoying 2012 so far. Sigh.
  16. Nice message. I hope everyone got it.
  17. Okay Ladies and Gentlemen the time has come to get a date so those interested can mark it off on their calendars, get time off, book rooms, decide who is carpooling, and all that fun stuff. Since I heard from no one we are going ahead with the June dates suggested. Please pick whichever weekend is going to be best for you. I would like to close the voting by the first week of March. Hoping for the best so that the most East Coasters can attend.
