  1. I think it all comes down to the people involved. I don't care if it is straight or gay. Marriage isn't for everyone. I think you need to be really content with who you are and be willing to honestly share your day to day life with your partner. Forcing it, rushing it, and not being honest with yourself or your partner has lead to a massive rise in divorce. I don't think marriage will fade, what will alter is the idea of family and how we handle situations. Some people might be happy going from relationship to relationship and never commit to just one person. Others will want to find and spend their life with that person and make it a marriage. I am all in favor of it if the people involved realize the commitment they are making. All in all ,a scary question with very individualized answers.
  2. I've never even managed to visit anywhere outside of the USA. However I have been looking lately at posts for teachers. Finding a position here isn't easy. The economy is down and jobs are scarce. If I was to go anywhere would be different and I would be on my own. I am not sure I would want to give up my citizenship but I guess that all comes down to if I found the right person. Right now I am free so anywhere I hang my hat is home.
  3. you want to complain. You left me with hm and I can only think of one legal word .... hmm
  4. Zach seems obvious but then looking at those who know the author best I doubt it will be as easy or the way anyone expects.
  5. As I said when I reviewed it, I loved the story. Now I am glad I found the forum and you say the painting is in your gallery. Needless to say you know where I am heading next. If you should so grace us with more of this story, I will be waiting as soon as it is posted to read it. Thank you for such an interesting short story.
  6. Like so many others I too really am enjoying A Question of Tine. I hope you continue to fill in the gaps the original short story left. I'm a greedy man, I want to know more, like what happens when the Dragon Lord's family discovers he has chosen a mate. I understand the need to work at your own pace but like your other readers just can't wait for the next chapter.
  7. Having read A Question of Tine I knew eventually I would find the other. Now please, please tell me you are going to continue to fill in the gaps and perhaps go further. Really desire to know what happens when Tine goes to live with his lover, what is the mystery of Tine's past, where will you bring us as you continue your tale. Got to say I enjoyed the original tale and like how you blended in some parts of the original into the expanded version. I enjoy your clean writing style and can not wait to see more of this.

    Waiting For Death

Now that was a powerful piece of writing. You couldn't help but feel some of his never ending pain. Naturally you leave us with more questions than answers. I do have an advantage that many others have already commented on your story. My biggest question isn't whether or not you will continue this piece but what painting is it that inspired such a tale. A man chained to a wall, two murderous siblings, a woman who is unlocking his chains while he falls into the arms of his lover? Would love to know what inspired such a Gothic tale. In all one story that should not be passed over and instead should be taken and read slowly and enjoyably in the soft glow of an old lamp late at night.

    Epilogue

I really enjoyed the story over all. Only spot in your tale, which I read in one sitting, was when Gregory was coming into his own power. Still not sure I know what was going on there. But really hope you have continued this story. Would love to know what happens to poor Ben when his insides finally catch up to the changes wrought on his outsides. So overall where is that next part of this story?
  10. I am pretty sure you had this as a very short one piece story. Here you are taking the time to work out more scenes and the story flows so well. I really can't wait till every one knows he is claimed and he gets his blue robe instead. Your writing is always so on target. Only point to make is the one spot here where you talk about him smiling smile. Looks like a typing error and with how great the rest is just wanted to point it out. Any way you look at it, I hope you do put it back on the to do list and fulfill my desire to know more about these two you men.

    Changling

Lugh, Pardon me if I seem familiar, my account seemed to vanish after my first few reviews and I this way I am just going back to say which I enjoyed and wanted to make sure credit is given again. I got the nickname Comicfan and now all my posts are showing but with no names attached. Thank you again for "A new take on an old theme. Love how this time the changeling isn't so much a babe but a child who has and established identity. Will make Robin's replacement a bit harder to keep up his act. Careful now, there are Elves in the woods and who knows what other creatures may yet turn up. Lovely story just wish there was more, but that is always my problem with flash, draws you in but never enough. "
