Like anything life,Mark, it takes time. Eventually you will breeze through it and the be able to put the pain behind you. Take care. Remember you have many friends wishing you well and one man waiting for you. We just want you happy and able, not crushed because you forced yourself.

Writing is a way to let the past go and see new ways of dealing with it. The past might be horrible but it helped shape who you are. For being a survivor and having the strength to stand on your own, I commend you. Been through enough crap in my own past. Just remember you have people who care for you now and want to see you happy.

Wow the defense team is a pain in the butt. i admit if you are accused of something you want the best to defend you but in this case there is a clear right and wrong and that defense team has little to pull up to cover their client. I am just glad the boys aren't having too much trouble. Great chapter as usual Andy.

Today has been a long day. I woke up with a headache and it just hasn't left me alone at all. I left work early and came home and slept for hours. Then made dinner. Guess what, the sucker is still with me. I hate summer colds. They are the worst. In the meantime I sat down and wrote out all my September and October cards. So all my friends with Birthdays, Anniversaries, and all my Halloween cards are done now. I also was a bit busy yesterday as I finally managed to tape up the packages I had for Frosty and Mark. Those got out in the mail yesterday as well as postcards for the two of them. Tonight I am going to make Banana Bread. I have to. The bananas are really really ripe and if I don't do something with them soon they will end up in the trash. Besides my banana bread is so good, if I do say so myself. I knocked out some writing since I've been up. Nearly finished the new chapter in Accident's Happen now. I also put up a new short story in my Inspired By collection. I am considering trying to do a Nephy and write two stories at the same time after Accident's Happen. I will get going on expanding the Anthology piece from the Summer one and possibly write the full story for The Key if there is any interest. Arnie hated that he had to get dressed up to go down to the cemetery with his grandmother. It was cold, windy, and he didn’t like standing around by the grave while she cried. Arnie hadn’t known his grandfather; he had died long before he was born. “I’ll be ready in a min Arn. Amityville will forever be known for the film Amityville horror and you find you want to drive past it every Halloween 14. one of the better known acting families of the Island is the Baldwins. 15. Why are you all eating the people off the cake?

It isn't even nine am as I write this blog. Yeah I usually write mine in the evening but I go to work shortly. I am sitting here with the room feeling cool and looking out the window into the yard. Across the street the neighbor has hung up yard signs that say back to school, have fall leaves on them, and pumpkins. My father is digging out his fall collection of flags for the yard as well. The mums my next door neighbor planted last year are already growing up to a large size and will be blossoming soon. To me these are the first signs of fall. I love the cooler temps. The chance to just go out and walk in a light jacket or sweater. To be able to enjoy the day without wanting to pass out from the heat. I think that might be one of the reasons I enjoyed school as much as I did. It meant I was done dodging the summer heat. i am more likely to be found sitting under a tree in the fall reading in the fall then out in the sun during the summer the summer. Just who I am. I am so grateful that we are beginning to head into one of my two favorite seasons. It gives me a reason to smile and look forward again. Enjoy all.

Okay. I live with a man who is passive aggressive in his attacks. But then again he also likes to attack when no one else is around to hear him. Agh. Sometimes you just wish, I can fill in that blank so many ways right now. Alright it takes me a while to reach my boiling point. I am not the kind to just attack. However you push me up against the wall and you might find you don't like the mild manner man you had been dealing with. Okay so my father has been having problems with the phone. I know I've offered to buy a new one but was told he wanted to go looking. Fine. I can accept that. In fact, it means I get to save some money which is never bad for me. However, tonight the phone rings and the answering machine doesn't it get it. I look and there is no power to the machine. So is there a problem with it because Irene blew it out, did the power cord he has it attached to finally go, or did outlet stop working. The answer, i am not sure because evidently I am horrible person who still has DVD towers sitting in the living room and that is why he can't get an electrician in to check the power in the outlet or come to fix the light in the kitchen. I tell him I want to just plug the items into a different outlet for a moment but no. So I am just wrong again. What a joy. Anyone noticing a pattern here? Right now I am not sure if I want to wish him away to my brother's home, wish I was never born, or hell just wish myself back up to Connecticut where I had a life. Since I have been home, I'm draining the savings I had. The store I work in never bonuses, there are no raises for me in the position I hold, and well the place is a mess. So I've tightened my belt. I go out not at all, I buy nearly nothing, unless you count groceries and the $20 a month I allow myself to spoil myself. When it comes to living at home, well I try not to do anything that would bother him. I don't have a television so can't be playing that loudly. Any movies I own or watch on my computer using a headset. If I sit with him, well he goes into bed at 8 most nights. What the hell am I suppose to do? Basicallly, I wonder if I died tomorrow would he notice or would he wait till he smelled the rotting body to do something. I know. Not being fair to him but one more time I seem to be the one who can do no right again. Just tired, didn't sleep, and not in the mood to be yelled at. Seems to be a normal situation lately. Oh well. Who knew in your forties you would end up alone, taking care of a parent, and debating whether to put on the happy smile again or just picture the writing I should have on my gravestone from the heart attack I give myself. Whee. There is nothing wrong with that a few months in a nice padded room won't fix.
