1-2 thousand words isn't very far in a story to be getting stuck. Are you trying to write a long story or a short story? Just wondering what your goal length is to see how far you are getting. You could always try to weekly prompts for a short shake-up to your block. If you are writing a short story, how are you planning out your story line? have you thought through the plot or where you winging it and get stuck because you're not sure what you have in mind for next? Sorry that I have more questions than answers...but still, i hope it helps

Thanks unlikelyu, yes it is a sad chapter but it shows us the reality of teenagers, what they do, how they treat each other (even the good ones). They don't always make the best decisions but the important thing is if they learn from them. We are going to see more of them, this isn't the end yet. Thanks for reading!

Oh it feels like there is something bad looming ahead, NO! I like these guys and the international settings of the story is nice. I was so happy to get home from work and see another chapter up already...joy! I saw that you mentioned that this is posted on another site...so tempted to jump over there and devour it but I won't...I will show self control...and wait for more! Soon please!

I really like that the characters are a little older and mature, don't get me wrong, love the twenty-twinkies but it's refreshing. Jordan and David feel so real, that I forget that I'm reading. I keep expecting to look up and see them standing there.

Shhhh, nobody was to know that I really went to the beach with you and was only pretending to be hit by the storm that hit the mid-atlantic USA My power was out, internet down and I missed last Monday...which I have apologized profusely for doing so I am a week late This story is anything but predictable. I hope the unknown has kept it interesting without being too far fetched even though we are dealing with a ghost I did pull from some of my family experiance with facing Tanner's family. My mom's youngest brother was killed when I was a kid and he wasn't much older than me. I remember my Grandparent's just shutting down, life stopped for my family. I wanted to draw the reader into the family's pain but not have that be the entire focus, I agree it would be too hard. I should be able to stay on schedule, so look for another new chapter on Monday. Thanks for beind so understanding

It's a hard balancing act but I'm trying to answer more questions than create new ones and by time it's all said and done, I think it will answer everything. my goal has always been 20 chapters and I'm on schedule so I think I'll be able to do it keeping the same pace (I really like the pace of this story. I do have a bad habit of writing very fast and furious but trying to slow down for a more enjoyable read ) I'm gonna pack a lot in these last chapters. I hope that makes you happy

Starting to think you're settin up the backstory for book 2 featuring Tag and Jimmy I love Tag I too was wondering about the message on the maching...Is' it Christian's mom coming for a visit? Oh wouldn't that be something for Momma Beck to come while Jimmy and Tag have to boys on date night and she walks in on Chris using his sexual ways to get David to cave on wedding plans

Thanks Jammi, I was worried that readers would give up (or kill me) when I killed off Tanner. I'm glad they stuck around. Even with the supernatural aspect of this story, i tried to make it very realistic as far as life isn't always 'happy ever after.' Well I'm glad you took a gamble on me and checked out my writing. This was such a fun story to write, and my twist on a legend had to include the supernatural, because, well come on, it is so flipping cool I love creatures and things that go bump in the night. Glad you liked it too.
