Wow, that was very powerful short story. I would love to see a full length version. This is a very real fear in today's society of make accusations, destroy someone's life in the public eye and not care if they really are guilty or not! Once the accusation is out there, life is over! Great start!

I don't put any faith in Astrology. Being a twin and being as different as night/day, I can't believe that zodiac traits or the daily horoscope that could define me would EVER apply to him (or vice versa).

Words can’t express how proud I am of our daughter. Today, J.J. became a home owner! This kid has worked her butt off saving to buy a house. As a Paramedic, she works very long hours. She works nights and weekends and sacrifices holidays. When other kids her age were out partying, she was dedicated to keeping our community safe. J.J. did it all on her own! Of course I’m nervous for her to leave the nest, but excited to see her grown. 😍

K.C. Grim is my real name. It never occurred to me to make up a screen name. LOL 😜 Nobody ever calls me by my full name anyway, I've just always used my initials K.C. I don't think I've heard anyone call me by my full name since my Mom passed away.

Thanks guys! It's been like watching a car crash in slow motion. Our daughter and her boyfriend both got it too, but recovered really quick with no lasting effects. We were blessed that my hubby never got it even with all 4 of us in the same house!

I swear if I hear one more person say that COVID is just the Flu, I might knock their teeth out! I’ve had the Flu many times in my 47 years on this Earth and I this is NOTHING like the Flu. I caught it 4 months ago. It was a brutal 10 days of high fevers, awful cough, chest/lung pain, whole body aches, ear infection, lose smell and taste, I even passed out a few times… I really thought I was going to die! Mine was a heavy viral load, so I kept testing positive for 6 weeks. (Needed 2 negatives to return to work) Now, 4 months later, I have long hauler symptoms: Heart palpitations feels like my chest will explode Lingering cough that is so bad that I can’t breath Headaches and Body aches My left eye randomly dilates open several times a day making it impossible to focus. Blood clotting problems After 2 months of No smell/taste…now I have phantom smell/taste were everything is a forest fire. It smells and tastes like pure smoke. It’s so overwhelming, I feel like I’m choking from smoke inhalation. The plus side, I have extremely high natural antibodies so I’m not required to take the Vaccine… yet. The minus side, I feel like shit! I was scheduled to have my hip replaced back in the fall, but that got rescheduled for the spring. I returned to work late November, but every day is a struggle. Last week they did an MRI for the headaches, my eye, and smell/taste. Next week they are testing for heart and lung damage. End Rant ((This is my personal COVID journey. If you got it and didn’t get sick or have no lingering effects, good for you!))
