It was an awesome ending One which hints at bigger things to come. Although I am not sure I would want a sequel. Thank you for this beautiful story.

Ch 31: Father and Son
Aximili Chaosmembrane commented on Hamen Cheese's story chapter in Ch 31: Father and Son
This chapter has a funny and relieving start but a heavy ending. Not that it's bad, but it's definitely one hell of a roller coaster ride (not that I've been on one). I started feeling happy for Derek and Charlie, and then suddenly, I felt the floor disappear below me. Very nice chapter. I look forward to the next chapters. I have a suspect in mind, but, hmm, it's just a wild guess. -
Do you have ANY idea how much I was shaking while reading this chapter because of the title?????? (@_@) Overall, very nice chapter. Although it was a "weight off my shoulder," there's still the father to consider. I do wonder what you have in store for him.

I'm 20, but maybe it's because I have no idea what "Follies" and "matchy-matchy" are, haven't done an "It Gets Better" video yet, and have no idea who Patty and Mandy are >_<

Hmm. Did anyone actually watch the video which says he lied? Oh well, here's the text (wrote it myself based on what I can understand): From what I understand, his school mates don't actually hate him. His scars, on the other hand, are real: He did not comment on whether his scars are just there due to sadistic tendencies, or because he really is depressed. Also, he was chewing gum. Here's what I got after looking around: More: Granted, it wasn't conclusive that him chewing gum means he's nervous, but the possibility is there. Context must also be taken into account, but we don't access to the various factors which brought him to chew the gum in the first place. I know at least that smokers look for gum or candy to chew if they don't have access to cigarettes (or are not allowed to smoke in certain places). *shrugs*

Have you seen the responses after the follow up video??? Overwhelming love!

It's BEAUTIFUL! I saw this on Facebook as well, and shared it to every group I am a part of I think this video needs to get out there. We have a million reasons to be here.

Sadly this was the attorney who helped us get Baby Q
Aximili Chaosmembrane replied to Andrew Q Gordon's topic in The Lounge
I understand, although I just stated the fact, it can come out as cold and unfeeling sometimes. That's a fault I'm trying to fix. Anyway, what I'm saying is that people want the perfect child, the ideal family, the easiest path, etc. But what got me thinking is that there might be unwanted children out there, whose parent(s) are substance abusers. Don't they deserve a better life as well? Then again, maybe it's just me. -

She could have helped people desperate for children without breaking the law. -
My hair has grown longer since this photo.

Stories suggestions that are free from cliched conventions
Aximili Chaosmembrane replied to Sidd's topic in The Lounge
Honestly, I've never even heard of those authors. Then again, our country is not exactly open to these kinds of authors. But I did read Laura Argiri (loved her God in Flight). My favorite author, Andrew Ashling, writes stories that seem to have one character being rich and the other poor (or at least of lesser wealth, financial or otherwise). But I enjoy reading them coz I enjoy seeing other "worlds," since in our country, homosexual stories (at least the movies) are usually in a middle class-to-poor setting. It gets depressing at times. I guess you could say we are a sex-dominated culture. Then again, it's not really only the LGBT culture. But yea, I guess we could use a little less sex scenes. Anyone know of a feel-good, virtually sex-free story? -
Huh. A silent, shy-type book reader who sucks at games and sports? Sounds a lot like me ;p Seems like you're brave enough to come out to you room mates though. I never had that courage

Gay Marriage? How about interracial?
Aximili Chaosmembrane replied to John Doe's topic in The Lounge
I guess nobody tried asking "What would Jesus do?" They just immediately answered "ban the black guy." So sad. -
Thank you. I really appreciate the feedback.

Very true. I thought I wasn't depressed when I was. I thought I was right for feeling bad because everything around me is falling apart, so I thought it was normal. Although the more I talk about my complaints, or defend my feelings/reactions (based on depression), the more blind I became. It was only when I accepted that I was depressed and actually faced it that it started to alleviate.

It's interesting to read about other people's college life. Makes me sad about mine though. Anyways, college was pretty... plain. I was in the closet, and although I was out with a few, carefully selected friends, none of my classmates know about me. Then again, I was pretty conservative and I keep to myself most of the time, hiding away in the library or sitting somewhere and reading a good book, instead of hanging out with people. I think I was quite antisocial, without really meaning to. As far as dating is concerned, a complete zero. I tried some a site called Facepic before, and I met one guy, but didn't know how it went coz after that I never saw him again. Or maybe I did but couldn't recognize him. LOL. I also tried the chatroom, and met a few, but they're just into ONS, something I completely abhorred back then. I was a hopeless romantic, looking for that guy who will sweep me off my feet, or a prince who I will serve as a knight in shining armor. Now, I'm "open," in a way that I'm not hiding the fact that I'm gay, but like Colinian, I don't announce it. They also don't ask the right questions, and assume I'm straight. When I came out, my friends were so shocked coz they never expected me to be gay. As a friend of mine said, I'm the most ungay gay ever. LOL. Another friend, not wanting me to shock other people (like I did to her, LOL), introduces me as gay on the onset of meeting a new person. I just laugh. I think that coming out in school can be liberating. Staying in the closet all those years, I think I was at least safe from disease, but it was five years of pure loneliness. In a way, I got used to it.

The Servant "Hello Alfred. How are you?" "I'm fine Charles. But I guess you still don't believe what I've been telling you," Alfred replied. "Well, simply put, you're story is too farfetched..." "I know. Everyone says that," Alfred sighed. "But you know what they say: truth can be stranger than fiction." He gave a shy smile. I smiled back. "So they say," I allowed. He was quiet after that, so I decided to break the silence. "Do you still get visits..." I stopped short when I saw the

What would you do if a demon appears out of nowhere, in all its naked rawness, willing to grant you a wish that someone else would die for?

This is a collection of short stories. These stories act as clues regarding the Otherworld, or that world which we feel exists just beyond our reach, and as such, might feel incomplete. Unfortunately, real life is rarely complete. The same rings true for the Otherworld. Sometimes, that's not a bad thing, as some endings in life are better left untold...

Torn Paper It was a late, cold December night in a small town. Most people are already relaxing inside their homes with their family, most likely preparing for noche buena. The streets and houses sparkle with Christmas lights, and chilling evening breeze erases any doubt about the season. But the street is empty, with no one to feel the wind. Empty, that is, except for one boy. The little boy walked the empty, cold streets alone that night. He didn't seem lost, nor did he seem to be in a hurr

Ch 27: My Bloody Valentine
Aximili Chaosmembrane commented on Hamen Cheese's story chapter in Ch 27: My Bloody Valentine
I had insomnia for the last two days thinking about this freakin' cliffhanger (T_T). I keep imagining what happened and what would happen. Even worse is that the story started quite lightly, friendly, and such. Then right now, it's bloody! (T_T) I was expecting something to go bad, and I knew that Luke will be part of it, but I didn't expect things to get THIS bad. (T_T) To top it all off (the bloody icing to a chilling cake), the CLIFFHANGER! (T_T) It's an awesome story, but.... cliffhanger (T_T) I hope I can sleep well tonight (T_T). -
Thank you! () Yea, I'm still working on tenses. (T_T) I'm still not sure how things work here, so I don't know how to get an editor, but I'll look around. ()

I use a deck of cards called Talecraft, although I'm not sure if it's available everywhere. It helped me finish my stories. I also tend to read other stories to get ideas.
