Okay okay. Wow. Yum. Bravo! Here's my more cerebral take. My first erotic writing back in... wow. Ahem was literally rehashed versions of what I read on nifty. Completely explicit sex + added introspection + a plot to explain why these people are having sex + my voice as a writer. I liked what I wrote, I still do. I like Com's older stuff still. But 15 years later and my best reviewed stuff does what Com did here. Let me illustrate. 2003 (me) Every major muscle movement, lip shape, pressure, tongue twitch, on and on. Physics action in detail. Season with character-driven emotion and thought. Now/this Subtlety, understatement, much of the mechanics of the liplock left to the imagination. But, even as short as the kissing portion was, all of the passion, desire, hunger, insecurity, etc., it's all there. Without completely losing the edge of explicitly. Gah. I think I'm losing my battle to express my point. That kiss is on replay. Because I'm craving more of that passion just like the characters. And it keeps blurring into replays of times I got what I'm craving. Mmmm If he weren't roadtrip far away I'd be late for work just for the pleasure of sating myself with my love's lips. So uhh... it was good. And lastly, even though this wasn't their first kiss I think it still applies all the philosophy of Com's article on the first kiss. So go read it. Hehe. Thanks Comsie sensei.

Song in support

somehow, this wasn't the way I thought this thread would go. I'm sure everything is up to spec. Including the vibrating, heating, self lubricating bits of anatomically correct fun -
Song in support

I should probably watch that -
You're welcome.

May first. One place or the other. I'm not pure in any sense. It's more interesting. If you like this. Check out @Comicality's Gone from Daylight. Or really anything with his name on it. He covers a lot of genres. Hmm... All according to plan... I'll be sure to stock up on snacks. Send me a message or an email. I won't guarantee answers. But I'm listening.
-
I doubt you're either of those things. If you have questions you can message me here or send me an email. Any question you ask I'm sure others have. Don't be shy. I don't bite,

I didn't. I'm just reminding everyone. And in the future some new reader will see that I took the time to come back and reply again to make SURE you knew. Because you specifically said you wanted more. However, given all the jokes. If you are multiple people, multiple reminders seems only natural.

Hey @Dmrman, special note for... all of you Chapter 1 and 2 of 2-14-9X are on GA

Aiden had been pushed into a full sprint just to get out of the house, practically thrown into the back of a car, and they had driven off like they'd have an army after them any second, guns blazing, it all did feel like a jailbreak. Aiden was still laughing from the thrill of it all when he jabbed his elbow blindly toward Peter's voice. "You are insane!" Peter wheezed behind him. Aiden moved his arms and turned slightly mostly looking over his shoulder. Shoved between Aiden an

First time I heard this song I thought of our esteemed host. But on this day of mutant rabbits, zombie Rabbis, humor, and new material, I realized it applies to many of us. Caveat: not necessarily happy. Works for me though.

It's the first of April. And I'm too uptight to pull pranks. So, here's news you can believe in. At 12 noon Central Standard Time, the first chapter of new story will be published. New to GA that is. If you've read my blog entry or if you've read You'll already know what I'm going to tell you. "You're not the One, Neo." XD Sorry, sorry. That's not it. "There is no spoon." NO! That's not it either, "The cake is a lie," No, that's not it either. But I might make cookies, Okay, okay. Weird attention deficit puns aside. What I'm trying to tell you in that at noon my story Predators: 2-14-9X should be making it's Gay Authors debut. Please, read, react and comment. Edit: As of 12:06PM 4/1/208 it's published. Enjoy!

14-year-old Aiden Desmond is used to knowing things others don't. He knows about things from books his friends don’t read, things on tests in higher grades, things that happen that adults don’t talk about, and about bad days on a person's personal calendar, days when things happened, that divided their life into "Before" and "After." But that didn’t prepare him for things like this. Two secrets, two radical shifts in what he knew. Aiden is used to knowing things others don't, but to get used to these things, he needs answers.

"Okay it's 5:45. It's got to be late enough," Aiden muttered as he picked up the handset. His hand felt a little clammy against the plastic. Come on, dude! Play it cool. Just another day in February... Not even calling a girl... Somehow, the drone of the dial-tone seemed like the blaring horn of of a car. Nothing new in Chicago. But it sounds different when you're standing in the street. Okay, not helping myself here... He dialed. Each touch tone like a nail in a... I need to read happier

Happy Spring Break! :P

Can't watch the video right now, but I'm twitterpated from your choice of vocabulary. -
I remember this too. In my opinion, better version: if it was subtly indicated that another BOY was interested and our protagonist smiled back. Or at least "ask someone out," leave the possibility. Don't force the audience to assume heterosexuality. I'll admit to being biased though. I think most everything is better with two boys.

Thank you for your kind and generous words complimenting my writing. It's a pleasure to know I was able to give you some enjoyment. Don't forget to look at my story "Predators." Chapter 1 may be old, and it may still be alone for now, but that's the story I think the same character showed up in.

Ordinarily, I would refer you to my blog. The first post gives directions to my newest material. The first chapter of the serial story running in Imagine Magazine for roughly the next year. ( my feed tells me you read the description in my beta reader want ad) However, the Magazine's website has been down most of the last few weeks due to things beyond their control. Chapter 2 of the serial story is due for release on April 1st in the magazine. If, and when, it's available there, I'll be posting about it. Chapter one will be making its debut on gayauthors.org this weekend.

Only in the most awesome ways!

Well, if the magazine makes it off the presses, I've got a chapter in it so at least that's real. If nothing else, keep calm... And read @Comicality ( I was going to say read Gone From Daylight)

The only good thing about Easter is that it's egg laying season for the Cadbury mutant rabbits. If Com wants to enrich April, yay! Although, come on! April Fools day? It's making me twitchy. Not in the fun way. I'm not saying Com's a tease, but... Cliffhangers, cryptic hints, foreshadowing... Okay maybe he is! I mean... He's a writer #no pranks

Foreshadowing. Even when I get to yell "called it!" that doesn't lead me to say "the story sucks" or "the author is an idiot." But then, there's getting that feeling that I am a genius and an ego boost, and there's painfully obvious predictability. I guess I'm saying that even when the surprise isn't one, stories can still be good. It's not the writer's fault if I figured something out. Not automatically. XD I'm working on MY long and subtle game. I appreciate the advice. @Comicality, good article. Don't worry, I picked up that banana peel for you. By the way, loved the way you decorated that lair.

lets work together Topic Tuesday #3: What Inspires You to Write
VampireMystic replied to Brayon's topic in Writer's Circle
Any open Forum someone feels afraid to speak in, isn't. I'm inspired by... everything? I look at my stories, and I can sometime see which bits and pieces came from where. examples include: Star Wars Inuyasha the emotional Resonance of Linkin Park Naruto Feudal japan Other writers And people everything I take in can I goes into the factory. I put my own spin on it, and when I'm able, I put it back on the page as something else. looking at some of my recent stuff, it's clear I started writing it because I had something to say. And even if I'm only talking to myself, even I have to get to the end to know what I was trying to say from the beginning -
lets work together Topic Tuesday #1: On Writing by Stephen King
VampireMystic replied to Brayon's topic in Writer's Circle
I haven't read King's book, but it's referenced all over in books I have. I do have one that, come to think if it, I'm going to reread. Plot and Structure by Scott Bell. It's part of a series where in different authors tackle different parts of story and craft. But the author Bell clicked with my thinking more than the others. Even if I can't claim to following his advice, it always gets me thinking and motivated. For the King book, I've put myself on the wait list for the local library ebook copy. -
Happens. In one of my first posts I spoiled part of Where Red Fern Grows.

It might have been better if you used a spoiler tag. XD Conflict is the motive force of stories. The experience of reading is watching the protagonist overcome obstacles. It's important to remember that whether it's a subplot or the main plot, a romance the same. And another potential love is a hell of an obstacle. Especially since nothing makes the cutie next to you more noticeable then realiizing they just got hit on, they like it, and you don't, at all! Grr! ~_^ Creating the suspense that things might not work out is just as important. Spoiler or not, "the bait and switch" romance arc above is classic. Note, I did not say "cliché." Only because of the negative connotation. Cliches are not bad. They're common because they work. Thank you for the good reminder, Com.
