  1. I was a major geek in high school. Stage crew, AD&D, video games and comic books. That was the life. lb.
  2. David Guetta featuring Sia - Titanium. lb.
  3. http://www.theonion.com/articles/mom-and-dad-im-gay-and-also-stronger-than-both-of,21017/ Mom And Dad, I'm Gay And Also Stronger Than Both Of You, So Don't Try Any Shit lb.
  4. I'm not a huge fan of Star Wars, I do like the movies but never considered myself to be a diehard fan. This game kind of snuck up on me. I started off lukewarm and then when it was released I couldn't stop frothing at the mouth from excitement. The game is not pushing any boundaries in terms of gameplay, but the voice overs and pet system is VERY engaging. Loving this game so far. lb.
  5. SW:TOR is SO GOOD. *drools* I found that I can't morally play a sith, so I opted for just Republic characters. What server are you on? lb.
  6. Funny thing happened at Brookstone last night. I found these small tubelike machines called personal massagers and was confused by what they were. After futzing with them for a few minutes trying to get not 1, but 3 of them to work, I concluded that they would give an awful back massage. One electrocuted me which wasn't pleasant and in those few minutes I spent rubbing them against my shirt and my head waiting for something to happen. Finally my partner found me and told me those were vibrators. It would explain the squirrely looks the store clerk was giving me. lb.
  7. Just the mints. lb.
  8. That was both really moving and depressing and uplifting at the same time. I feel for the kid; I hated middle school. And as cliched as it sounds, it does get better. I applaud his strength to a) admit to cutting and post this video. I certainly wasn't anywhere near as strong at his age. I especially like the parallels between his video and Sia's Breathe Me in terms of concept. lb.
  9. Suikoden was one of the few games I've ever felt like crying during parts of. I felt the storylines felt more original than Final Fantasy (which I would agree has been linear since VI.) I would actually go as far to say that the games have been boring for a long long time. It feels like they are trying desperately to make the game as visually stunning at the expense of substance. But then again, a lot of video games go that route. Suikoden's 1, 2 and 3 were some of my favorite RPG's. Suikoden 4 was pretty heinous though. lb.
  10. I'm a sucker for cute/romantic commercials. I loved it! The parts that got me specifically were the 'warm fuzzies' the guy on camera has in the beginning, the butterflies he gets when he introduces his bf to his family. Yeah, I can relate. lb.
  11. Thank you for reading and the review! Since the story is seen from Eli's point of view, David not asking him out after they met doesn't really get explained. Well, not for a few chapters at any rate. Chance will be around in the following chapter. Muahahahaha.
  12. I would agree with you there about females being an untapped market. In some ways they are being tapped, the Nintendo DS, iPhone and Droid markets do a fabulous job targeting them, but there is a pretty distinct difference between those games and games for say console gaming. Some games have a female leaning but I don't think any game has women specifically in mind. lb.
  13. http://www.theesa.com/facts/pdfs/ESA_EF_2011.pdf The Entertainment Software Association begs to differ. Sure the divide is nowhere as wide since the early 2000's but most games that are fps, rts, rpg, mmo and fighting games still largely focus on males. I think the big question is what does gender mean to you for video games? Lb.
  14. I have to say, the more of TBC I write the more I begin to love David and everything he stands for. I'll post some drawings of the cast when I get a free moment. Yeah, Eli is a bit infuriating at times, he means well, but he's as broken as any of the others. Thanks for the comment!
  15. What about Moves like Jabba? Hehehe. lb.
