Neat little story. An unusual take on a common theme which I wouldn't normally read, but enjoyed. I'm glad I ate lunch before reading it though.

Thanks for sharing this with everyone. I'm sure we're all enlightened by your opinion. Whoever you are, needless to say, no one missed you!

Fear not my friend. The ending is in sight and although I cannot promise it will be to everyone's satisfaction, it won't be a disappointment either. I've always said the ending will remain the same as it was in the original draft. There are a couple of surprises but it can only end one way.

Okay. I'll start by addressing this issue. I usually put a lot of effort into research and this story has required quite a bit. The head injury, adoption process, special counselling, and child protection laws all required plenty of homework. However, as @wenmale64 rightly points out, on this occasion I overlooked the detail concerning the rules the police have to follow, particularly when questioning minors. These comments had me scampering for information, which confirmed, as expected, that the Canadian regulations were pretty much identical to those in the United States. It's very unlikely that the officers concerned would not have realised this or been allowed to proceed by Mr Andrews, so I decided to re-write the section making some minor changes. It has now been updated, with the help of some very good Turkish coffee, and you will need to re-read or you can just take my word for it. Those who didn't read it before midnight EST won't know what I'm talking about, and don't need to worry about it. However, it proves the importance of research, and underlines the difficulties of posting on the fly, or working without a net. Hope it makes a little more sense now.

After ignoring several loud knocks on my bedroom door, I covered my head with the duvet and braced myself for the inevitable invasion. It wasn’t long before the door flew open, and a purposeful Nicola marched in. “It’s time to get up, lover boy!” “Go away!” “It’s ten after ten.” I groaned but made no effort to stir. With Don and Sue not expected home until late afternoon and my body still aching from my earlier exertions with Stephanie, I saw no need to venture from my comfy litt

Hey Gary. I guess it's icy where you are too. Horrible weather. Winter's started too early this year. Hello @Albert1434 hope you're good.

Thank you, @Arran. I am currently re-working this story, but this has taken a bit longer than expected. I hope to begin posting again before the end of this year. There will be a few changes, mostly to the supporting characters but Tyrone remains a dick.

Another great chapter. So much going on. Every time Joe opens his mouth I fear he's going to reveal more about his brother. He has to learn to think before he speaks.

Wow, that was pretty intense, especially the paparazzi scene outside the hotel. It was very well-written, but I wasn't aware that a model could create so much media attention or have such a huge fan base. That kind of 'Beatlemania' type hysteria is usually reserved for pop-stars at the height of their stardom or no bands during their very short shelf-life. It adds to the chaotic atmosphere surrounding Gavin though and I'm hooked on the story.

Chapter 128 You're All Crazy!

That would be interesting but unlikely. As usual, I can't rule anything out. -
I also believe Clint set up the hotel room. Jane is interesting but I'm not sure if I would like a female bodyguard.

Great chapter. I like your writing style; I know it's not easy to write in the present tense. I'm not sure if this is your usual style, but it works so well with this story. Josh, Joe, Taylor, and Mr Castiglione are all interesting characters, and I enjoyed the dialogue between the twins.

Chapter 128 You're All Crazy!

Robbie wouldn't quite see it the same way, but you definitely have a valid point. Not with Nicola though that would be too sick. I couldn't imagine Don dancing on a table without it collapsing under him. Perhaps that will be his fate. -

That depends on Robbie. However judging by his descriptions, I think it's safe to assume that wherever he ends up, it won't be in the arms of a woman. -
Chapter 128 You're All Crazy!

I think you're interpretation is fairly accurate. Having sex with Stephanie only 'confirmed I was gay'. I think Robbie found this encounter more humorous than sexually exciting and admits that she was probably dissapointed. She pretty much says the same thing at the end, when she tells him that he's 'definitely gay'. It probably wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for the Viagra, and the fact that he was pissed with Conner. His reference to 'not regretting it' was more to do with cheating on Conner than going with a girl. -

Maybe Robbie will learn from the experience. I can't see him ever doing anything with a girl again, but I can't see him confessing to Conner either. You're probably right with your first assessment. Robbie isn't capable of sustaining a relationship at the moment. Maybe Jo will see this too if he tells her everything. -
Chapter 128 You're All Crazy!

Nicola never said who she was going to the party with. Robbie just assumed she was going with her boyfriend. Seeing her leave in a taxi may have given him a clue, because Mister Lube usually drives when they go out on a date. Nicola told Robbie. “I don’t know what time I’ll be back. It might be difficult to get a cab in this weather, so it’ll probably be sometime tomorrow.” Robbie should have realised then that she wasn't with her boyfriend. -

No doubt Robbie would have been better off, if Nicola and Stephanie had stayed at their party instead of coming home early. Judging by his descriptions, he probably would have had a better time with Nathan, even if his ex-boyfriend was only on video. It wouldn't be out of character for Don to do something like that. We know he's a control freak. -
Chapter 128 You're All Crazy!

I had a feeling this chapter would surprise a few people, but Robbie has a habit of sleeping with his sibling's best friends. -

It does seem like a bit of a set up. The Viagra, coming home early etc. I can't don't see what Nicola would have to gain from it though. Stephanie has flirted with Robbie in the past on a few occasions, so we know there was some attraction there, although as Robbie points out she may have been s little disappointed in the end. -

It may not be that easy but I'm certain Jo will be able to cause him a few problems. -
“Stephanie! What the fuck?” She was wearing a big black coat with a red and white Christmassy tuque and a matching scarf that covered her mouth. I could only see the top half of her bright red face, but she could see all of me. I froze in my chair, instinctively pushing my legs together and cupping my hands in front of my pole-like penis. She looked as surprised as I was, as we stared at each other for what felt like ages before she covered her eyes with her gloved hands, and turned her

I felt sad after reading this blog and like many, I suspect, a little helpless, because I know there's nothing I can do to change the past. I can relate to some of your experiences, and know how deeply these can effect you. I assume you wrote this as a response to a recent accusation, and I hope you did this as an alternative to lashing out, either verbally of physically. You have issues which have not been resolved and maybe they never will be, but writing about these things, and putting your feelings into words, is the best thing you can do. Some things need to be said, even if those who have hurt you never read them. Even if you decide no one should need them. Putting your frustrations in words is enormously beneficial. It helps you see things clearer and makes you feel a whole lot better. Then, if the time comes when you need to defend yourself verbally, you'll know exactly what to say, because you've already written it down. To some people, this advice may sound like the bleeding obvious, but this is what was told to me and it has worked. Having a lot of friends who are prepared to read about your problems, without judging you in any way, also helps, and I'm proud to be one of them.

Chapter 127 When the Cat's Away

I may have to post the next chapter earlier than planned before I give it away. 😁
