    We don't know for sure if Don is the evil one. Maybe Rory is setting everyone up so he can claim Robbie for himself. I don't believe he's straight! If the glove fits.....? Whatever that means..

    I think Robbie's been fortunate at school to have such understanding teachers and friends. It's a pity this luck couldn't stretch to his home life. Thanks Tim.

    Yeah! Well said @Rndmrunner I'm a big fan of Rory. Overlooked because he's a little on the quiet side but he has a big heart and has been a valuable friend.

    Thanks @Benji Nathan may be testing Robbie to a certain extent but maybe he should have picked another day to do it other than the first day back to school. He knew how nervous Robbie already was. Is Nathan that heartless or was it simply a case of brain fade?

    It's impossible to answer these questions and come out unscathed.

    He was probably too busy rehearsing his little chat with Alex and trying to brush his teeth at the same time. I don't see Nicola as a practical joker. She would probably see that as childish. Besides, she didn't want to miss that bus!

    We shall see how well Mr Andrews enforces his new zero-tolerance approach to school bullying. I think that Robbie has every reason to feel optimistic for the future. His teachers seem very understanding and he has a lot of friends. How he responds to Nathan's feminine side is still a mystery.

    I think there's little doubt that Robbie is good for Alex and I think even from the very outset of their rather strange friendship there was a big attraction both ways. Both boys have played it down somewhat. Alex, much maligned and stereotyped has been written off as a loser by just about everyone other than Robbie. We know that Nathan is smart and to a certain extent a manipulator. He's also had it pretty good and so inevitably will Robbie if they stay together. Alex has had a troubled childhood and the future doesn't look a lot brighter. There are enormous obstacles ahead that he will need to overcome if he is ever to find happiness. In a perfect world, if the choice was Robbie's to make, I believe he would be better suited with Alex. The chemistry is unmistakable. They would fit together so well, but as always there are other things to consider and as yet neither of them are in control of their own destinies. I've probably not been much help here but you've pretty much said it all yourself. Cheers @JayT thanks for your great comment.
