  1. I decided that, after coming back to read this story for the third time today, I might as well leave a comment, right? I loved it, from beginning to end, I loved every word of this. It inspired me, made me want to go back to writing, and reminded me that you don't have to write a novel for you story to be memorable. I do wish there were more chapters to this story, or that you would write a more extensive story on Lars, Aiton and Jesse. It's amazing how much you can captivate the reader, with only three characters and one chapter. To put it short, I loved it! And excuse me while I go back to reading it again.
  2. I couldn't help but notice that the chapters are shorter than the first ones. Not necessarily a bad thing. I think that way i want to read it even more. I was seriously jealous of you, when I say you could write chapters with five-digit numbers of words, when my longest chapters have around 2000 to 2500 words ( ). Now that the chapters are shorter, I think that it makes me ache for more, you know what I mean. It's like giving a baby a lollipop, and then taking it out of his end after he's finished, and tell him "there's more next time". And it ends up being easier to read. If it was a book, I would mark the page, problem solved, and i could stop and restart whenever I wanted. But since it's on the internet, sometimes the chapters were so big i didn't have time to read the whole thing, and had to stop. The problem? No marker, no way to know exactly where I stopped. i couldn't help but notice Horn's comment, when he said, and I quote: "Yes, chapter 1 was short too, but then you wrote decent length chapters, though sometimes the gaps were too long either, but at least it was worth the wait for such a long chapters. But now? I am waiting so long for a few paragraphs of text? Sorry, but that seems like disrespect for your readers, who waited so long.". With all due respect, each one has the right to have his own opinion, mine is the following: A good story isn't necessarily big (One of my favorite book is so well written, and has only 200 pages, top, and i still think it's better than Lord of The Rings, for instance). Beside, no matter if it's a long chapter or a short one, if the story is good, as it's the case, it's always worth the wait, no mater how long you have to wait. Just so that you know, you end up being one of my favorite authors, and not just because of what you write. When you remind me a new chapter has come out, I really think like "damn, he even asks me to read it, it must be important to him that I read it, let's do this!" You may think it's silly, but you really make me fill like reading your story matters. (and I know it does, since I'm a writer as well! [Though I'm more like a wanna-be writer]). Moving on to the chapter's content! I liked how mature Jacob and Kyle have turned up. I feel more connected with them than ever. The way the other boys acted wasn't right, but I kind of feel like they didn't do it with the intention to harm or use Jacob, Kyle, Nicholas and Matthew. Hopefully they'll get through this and end up being good friends, even without the sexual things. I think Jacob did well in standing up for him, his boyfriend, his brother and Nicholas. At first i thought Jacob was overreacting when decided something for Nich and Matt, but then i thought about how nervous Matthew looked. i think he wasn't prepared to be exposed so forcefully. But then again, if the other boys really didn't want to consider their opinion, they could have continued their sexual activities despite Jacob's protest, and that makes me think that they really aren't that bad. Anyway, it's a matter of reading more next time... (Pleeeeeaasse give me my lollipop baaaack! I still want to know what happened to Sarah, despite her despicable reaction to the boy's coming out!) Keep up the awesome work, even if it means short chapters, and I support you when you say that you won't give in to reader's pressure. One thing is a reader giving feedback, or giving us advice in what ways can we improve in our way of writing, another is people trying to rewrite a story that's different than what we wanted at the start. Cheers! =D
  3. I seriously teared up reading this chapter... My God, you write in such way I even believe the characters are real, and I end up liking each and every one of them. I'm almost finishing this story... I ended up reading 40 chapters in 2 days... only 9 more to go. Wonder if it will take me just 18 days to read up to the most recent chapters on the series... Anyway, nice work as usual =D Cheers!
  4. I just love Josh's ghost stories! I would love to be there. I laughed so hard at the reaction of some of the kids. Well, I've read 13 chapters today, guess I should go to bed now, and keep up the reading tomorrow Cheers, and thank you for this story, that i fell in love with, and hopefully I'll fall in love with the whole series! =D
  5. I started reading this half an hour ago, and I am already in love, specially with Ricky. I wouldn't mind having a son like him! I started reading the story and thought "Well, let's see if this'll be a good reading for the summer". Well, guess what?! I just want more, and more, and more! Nicely written, with characters that make you fall for them at first sight, what can one wish more in order for it to be the perfect story? Cheers! =D
  6. As usual, an awesome chapter I would probably be as neurotic as Jacob if I was in the same position... Let's see how things go on from here hehe. Cheesr, and keep up the good work ;D
  7. This chapter... The first time i read it, I only reached the bit where Matthew and Nicholas tried to scare Jacob and kyle. But i ended up reading it from the beggining because of two things: 1) The line Lisa told about, had the exact same effect on me. It made me laugh twice. Scratch that and make it three! 2) The love Kyle shows for Jacob... I feel it's so pure, so enjoyable it really feels my heart to the point that even I want to burst into tears because of how unbearable these good feelings become. Let me tell you something I probably haven't told you before. Since word one, you were a writer that captivated me completely. The way you write, the way you describe the characters and their feelings... I just want to read more and more! You are for sure one of the few writers I never get bored of reading more than once. Your story is different from usual, you put a couple of innocent children doing things that at first sight seem amoral, but the way you write about it makes me believe it is something natural, something that could actually happen between people who see the world as simply as it is: "If I feel like doing it, why should I care that other people judge me? As long as it doesn't break the law, why not?". And I like that. Kyle and Jacob, Matthew and Nicholas, Bill and Sarah (I believe that's Jacob's mother name? If it is not, I don't like her, so I don't regret forgetting her name!), they are all characters of your story, and are so different from anyone that I have ever met... Nevertheless, i feel like they could actually be real. And the love they feel for their partners is real and invincible. With that said, I am actually curious to know what happened to Little Miss Know-It-All Sarah... And I actually want to know and see more of Bill around... And that Amanda character you talked about... So much mystery... I NEED to know!! x) Anyway, amazing job, as usual. Keep it up, mate! Cheers! =D
  8. My God, I started reading the story and I just want more, and more! I love the way it's written, and how you make the reader easily fall in love with Jordan. I'm curious about what will happen between Jordan ad Shawn... Keep the good work Cheers! =D
  9. I've been reading this story always with a smile on my face, because of how Andy narrated it. It made me connect with the character, knowing I could relate to him in various aspects. That was until this chapter. I could feel my eyes flooding with tears as Andy's dad did, at the hospital. What happened to Joey, and the way Andy and his dad feel about the whole situation is simply overwhelming. This is one of the best I've read so far and I'm feeling after only reading the first 5 chapters! I can't wait to read more and more. Good Work.
  10. Hi there. i guess my computer went on a madness rampage, and I ended up publishing a review on Chapter 4 without any text in it... Sorry about that. About chapter 4: I loved it when Kyle called "baby cakes" to Jacob! It surely stole me a smile. ANd I usually am not much into "incest", but I liked how you described the actions between the 3 boys! a very well done work. About chapter 5: One of my favorites so far! The contrast between Sarah and Bill's opinions. Like Jacob, i also wanted to slap Sarah across the face. But the endearing way Bill encouraged the boys to love each other. Good Lord, I fell in love with the character
  11. I loved everything about this chapter, from the moments shared between Jacob and Kyle, between Jacob and Matthew, and between Matthew and Nicolas. I specially liked the bit when Jacob teaches Kyle how to improve the typing technique.
  12. ugh, I like so many genres. But Survival-horror, Strategy, simulation and RPG are definitely on my top list.
  13. My favorite video games series? easy peasy! The Elder Srolls (not every games lets you be as free as the ones of this series) The Sims (Yes, sometimes I like to play God and Architect) Dragon Age Mass Effect Let me see... Oh, and good old Assassin's Creed. I guess I have a thing for RPG's. Well, can't blame me to want to live another live in another world were I am the mighty hero...
  14. I guess I'm kind of a slut and went for the two of them in two different save games. But i guess my first was Kaiden. Well... both Kaidan and Cortez are cute, so that plays in favor of both of them. And yes, Kaidan has more story with Shepard like Cyhort stated. But... When I first tried to romance Kaiden, I didn't talk to Cortez much. Once I did in my second save, well, let's just say I didn't feel that sorry when he was killed by Udina. On the other hand, i almost cried of joy when I found out Cortez didn't die on the shuttle crash. So yeah, I've dated both of them, but I like Cortez de most.
