"Nothing is as it seems" "There are many forms of slavery" Are you preparing for a huge and dramatic twist in the story? Could it be that the one in the box is not truly Uzzy but instead his captor? Did Uzzy turn the tables on him and entrap him within the confines of that coffin like prison? That would then beg the question of why Uzzy did not return to Pasha and his body. Maybe he couldn't escape the enchantments on the cave. Is the body in the box merely an illusion and the box is really empty. A way to lure Gabe and Pasha into a place where they can be trapped, just as Uzzy has been trapped? Is Uzzy somewhere else with is captors while they try to brainwash him and turn him into the course of their own desires? Remembering that the boy told Gabe and Pasha that they saw him as they imagined he would look when really he was unharmed and unchained but appeared opposite. It would garner up all the ideas that they are seeing what it is that they most desire to see, Uzzy. Maybe not exactly how they want to see him but none-the-less they are seeing him only because they want too see him. He could be appearing there cause that is how they figured they would find him. Restrained, hurt and held against his desire to return to them. The box is a mere interpretation used to further the illusion they believe they are seeing based upon 'assumptions'. That is another key word that was used by the boy-slave. It would be a horrible thing if they have already turned Uzzy into one of them. Body, soul and mind being twisted, contorted and deranged to fit into their plan. Ok, must stop or I'm going to drive myself insane trying to guess what happens next, lol.

Glad to see another chapter Should be an interesting dynamic in the house now. 1 gay boy, 1 possible gay boy and 1 straight boy (or as far as I know JT is straight). Hope that JT can break old habits. Even though the driving force behind what he was doing was his father it is still difficult to break old habits, create new ones and change how you behave. That in and of itself should prove to be an interesting journey. I also have to ask, just cause my mind works in a quirky way, could it be possible that JT and Cody will start a little something special between them, lol? Great chapter!

Ok, let me grab my popcorn and get some more sweet tea as this is getting good. Just take Ben, turn him over and pronounce him done. That boy is caught; hook-line and sinker!

Can I switch places with Rhyder? LOL Sam sounds like he is quite a handsome man. Caleb seems a bit gruff and a little callous. I'll reserve much thinking on him tho as not much has been said about his character and I'm sure being as young as he is and having the responsibilities he has puts a strain on him. Suppose at this point the main question is if Rhyder and Sam will become more or if Sam will just become like a big brother to him and be someone he can talk to and confide in while discovering more about himself. Shaping up to be another interesting and fascinating tale. Looking forward to more!

Locked away secretes and pains of the past that have been sealed off for years never surface the same. They tend to have festered and when they come to the surface the pains seems to have multiplied. Dimples has a long road ahead of him but one that I am hoping that Ash can at least help him navigate without falling and getting lost within the potholes along the way. Ash seems to be getting better. At least he is able to get to his appointments on his own and walk to the park to meet Dimples. He is recovering faster then I expected, which is a good thing. I love the Human Resource lady! Loved the way she talked about it being a 'love' thing and should be accepted as such. Society gets tiring when they all claim that if you find someone that you love then you should grab on, hold on and work to make it happen and last. Funny how they say that but when faced with two same gendered humans falling in love they quickly tag on a qualifier; As long as it is someone or something that is of the mainstream thoughts and we approve of it. Its like a flash of lightening. We tell them we are 'in love' and they absolutely shine and offer a blistering smile but when we reveal that it is someone of the same sex that shine turns to darkness and the smile turns into a scowl of contempt. That's when you just want to play that Aaron Tippin song "Kiss This" for them while bending over and bearing the moon.

Oh, now this is proving to be quite interesting! The mighty Zu does like to put people where he wants them and keep them there thru his attitude, disposition and downright abrasive exterior. Wondering if that could be a defense, an overcompensation in control that is a direct result of him feeling like he lost a certain degree of control of his body and life after the accident? It certainly has to be rather unsettling to him to see how fluently, quickly and effortlessly Zander moved past those and disarmed him. I can't help but chuckle imagining the dumbfounded and befuddled look that is gracing Zu's face. Oh to be a fly on the wall, lol.

I'm still holding out hope for Tristan. Sorry but no matter how many soft spots you keep showing towards the Puff Ball (Orion) he still hasn't gained any ground with me. I know that I'm stubborn and bull headed at times but I just don't foresee myself actually warming up to the idea of Gabe and Orion being mated or bonded. I'm loving the slow and sometimes mysterious ways that your characters are taking on a life of their own.

Nope, still no love loss between me and Orion. Still think he is a boil on the butt of humanity! You've done a great job of bring your character into a 3 dimensional life for us. Obviously that 3-dimension had to have occur or I couldn't have such a distaste towards the overgrown fluff ball named Orion. I'm also wondering, with the way Trent looks and thinks towards Gabe, if maybe we won't see him try something behind Fluff Ball's back. I also have an uneasy feeling about who Neil's father may turn out to be in relation to Gabe's future.

Okay, someone need to flip Orion on the nose, tell him NO and spray him with some water. If that doesn't work then I've got a really big broom that we can whack him over the head with to subdue him. Overbearing pompous lick pricks like him deserve their kumuppins 10 fold over! Maybe once Tristan gets Gabe back you can make Orion their Eunuch bed pan slave. Maybe that was a little harsh and should be toned down a little. Maybe just their eunuch chambermaid. Great Story so far.

Quite interesting! I enjoyed reading this and following along as Bay untangled his lies, deception and internal struggle with homophobia. I've never been disappointed after finishing one of your stories and this one follows right along the same lines...Fantastic! Thanks for sharing.

Ok, where do I sign up to get me a Mr Dimples? lol I'm liking him more and more each chapter. Oh I know. You're going to throw a few curve balls in here and there but I'm already hooked. Furthermore what is with M sleeping on the couch? Boy...get your arse to that bedroom and cuddle with your man! If you can't cuddle cause of his injuries then at least sleep beside him...naked would be preferred, lol

“I don’t see why being gay has to be all there is about me. Making your sexuality your defining feature like the faaaab-ulous crowd down there is just pathetic. Being gay is part of who I am, it’s not everything I am.” I know that I am not the only one that has brought attention to this line but I still wanted to say how much I love it! Its very similar to what I always say when when asked why I don't simply announce and let everyone know I'm gay. Great line!!!!!

Can I ever relate to Bay in his frustrations and musings about people expecting him to be different after he 'came out'. It's like really....what did you expect? Me to all the sudden come walking out wearing a hot pink feather boa, rainbow colored stretch pants with a tight fitting half top? Did I ever wear that before? Then what makes you think that I'm going to do it now? I'm still the same person I was prior to that revelation. Its just now you know a little more about me. I'm still the guy that likes my wranglers, t-shirts and cowboy boots. People really do react strangely according to their preconceived notions as to what a 'gay person' should be and how they should act. *Sighs* Too many Labels in this World and too many people too willing to rush to the forefront just to tag you with a label they feel is fitting for you. Why not let us determine who we are and not labels us but instead just accept us as we always have been prior to learning that little tidbit about us? You've got my attention as this has been an issue close to my heart and constantly on my mind. I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing how to tackle this and how Bay deals with and eventually puts this issue to rest.

Its awesome to hear that you are home and doing better! My thoughts are with you for a speedy and complete recovery. Seems that these two are getting along better and Dimples is coming to grips, at least in Asher's presence, that he can have feelings for another man. Should be interesting to see how it all plays out at his work and out in public. I can say that Asher better hold on cause I have a feeling that Dimples is about to rock his world and completely blow Asher out of the water.

I just don't know what to think. We left off with Dimples kissing, quite passionately I might add, Ash and we pick up with Dimples being told that Ash has been shot. Why do I feel like I'm on the wrong roller coaster? LOL Did I do it again and purchase the wrong ticket? I'm trusting you that you will fill in the blanks at a later time. Did Ash run after Dimples that night? Did Ash let the other guy spend the night? How and why did Ash get shot? So many question. Inquiring minds want to know. Lastly...Can I pummel Dimples' coworker? I forgot his name but he's the one that made the lewd comment about Ash being Dimples' butt buddy. That was even after he told Dimples that Ash was shot. Cold man, very very cold! He deserves being at the receiving end of a high powered cattle prod.

What has changed so much to elicit this kind of behavior? Hmmm, I think it may be a better question of 'who' has change to elicit this kind of behavior. I don't mean change as in Matt woke up one day and said, "Oh, hey...I think I'll be gay today". The change I refer to is in the fact that prior to this Matt could let it roll off his back like water from a duck. Now its a bit more personal which means the whole mental and emotional state has been altered and taken on an urgent and dire need to protect, claim or just the opposite and lash out to hurt the same as Matt is hurting. That opinion is my own and based more off of the norm. However..... Stretching things a bit but still remaining within the confines of the storyline could mean that Matt had nothing wrong with Jason being gay in the fact that he was one single person on the team. Now that Blake has been caught peaking his head out of the proverbial closet and no longer gawking at the rainbow colored plumbing in that closet it will mean that there is another 'gay boy' on the team. Is Matt thinking that its contagious or is he feeling his masculinity being threatened? A valid question (may be a stretch for the contagious part tho). 1 is easily over looked. 2 a bit more noticeable. Fear and unintended or self imposed intimidation can cause irrational behavior. Will be interesting to see where you take this one.

The biggest flirt and shag-master decides to settle down and surprising thing is that he was the one to cross that bridge and make the move. Alan should take note of that and realize just exactly what the means to have Matt offer to be exclusive to him. Now Alan just needs to hold on to it and treat Matt well!

I knew Alan couldn't be a complete loss, lol. Its nice to hear a bit from his side. The way he saw things and get a bit more background about him. I think Matt will be good for him. Help mellow him out and maybe even help him deal with who he really is and how to better accept it. I'm not so sure that Matt was completely honest with Alan tho. I think Matt wants so much more from him but still handled things correctly. Not so sure Matt coming out and blurting forth the fact that he wants a relationship from Alan would have gotten him any where except scaring Alan off. After all a guys got to keep a little mystery about himself.

Talk about getting your hand caught in the cookie jar. Suppose both Asher and Mr Dimples (Michael) have some explaining to do. This is one of those situation that I like to refer to as a Cluster F*. You want what you think you can't have so you self medicate with someone else that you know you can have and think that could become more only to be forced to face the fact that the one you are with is not the one that makes you happy nor the one you really want. By this stage tho it is too late to take anything back as you have already put your foot in it and it already sticks of cow shit. No matter what you do you will all suffer from the actions. The only feeling of salvation from the situation is found in the hope that you'll at least get to explain things and that the one you want to hear, understand and forgive you will care enough to put forth the effort.

I cannot say much about the Sign Language you are speaking of in the story but I can say that learning what I did of ASL (American Sign Language) was a chore. Even though it was a chore it was still very rewarding and enjoyable. I am only sorry that I didn't keep up on it and have forgotten so much over time. Jared's sister is like a freakin freight train. Full steam ahead. Act now and think later. Hope she enjoys foot-n-mouth sandwiches cause it seems she is going to be eating several of them, lol.

freeze....stop....rewind and p.a.u.s.e... Dear ol dimpled Mikey didn't know Asher was gay? Hmmm, sounds a bit fishy to me, but ok. Asher's reaction was a bit like a pre Madonna. I imagine there is some underlying facts from Asher's past that caused this reaction. I suppose now with this uproar brings the question of who will brave the rip tides and try to smooth the turbulent waters caused by the reaction and dramatically overstated objection to Michael's question of why Asher helped. P.S.. I'll hold off on getting my dull, tarnished and rusted spoon out to come after you until I can read a few more chapters, lol
