Chapter 15: Cousin Interference
CW Prince commented on intune's story chapter in Chapter 15: Cousin Interference
I need to make sure I have this straight. Sam, Germ's cousin, now has concerns about Lucca, which he didn't have prior to Germ's revelation, and is struggling over trust issues and the desire to sit Lucca down and talk. Germ, Matt's on again-off again boyfriend, only wanted to get close to Lucca, as his was the name for which his boyfriend yelled during a moment of passion, so he could tell if Matt was cheating on him with Lucca who is now dating Sam, Germ's cousin. Matt, whom Lucca deems straight, is somewhat dating Germ while secretly in love with Lucca but Lucca has no idea cause he doesn't know Matt is gay. Lucca has been secretly in love/lust over Matt since he was younger but never said anything as he was in fear of loosing Matt as a friend. He is now dating Sam, Germ's cousin, and working over trying to get past his love/lust of Matt. Most importantly Lucca has absolutely no idea any of this is going on. *breathes again* Why do I feel like this is can best be described with the simple phrase "My Uncle is my own Grandpa"? This is definitely interesting and one I'll be reading to the end. Great job so far. -
A disembodied Uzzy??. Interesting. What of this man that was so easily able to disembody Uzzy?? I'm not sure what to think of may happen next. I'm sure tho that if there is a prolonged absence of Uzzy that Pasha will slowly drive himself crazy with worry, guilt and sadness. I'm still not sure what to make of Gabe's return and what he 'claims' he is doing for Uzzy. Has he really accepted the fact that Pasha and Uzzy are together or is this a clever ruse? A twisted dark plot to get what Gabe wants? So much to think on...

I guess that is one way to pick someone up. Just pass out a couple times and let them find you, LOL. I'm REALLY looking forward to reading about Michael waking up. That should be beyond interesting, lol. I know- I have a twisted sense of humor sometimes. Shoot me

wOw, Wow and more wows. It does sadden me that Bryce was not present when Kynan's family was named Bryce was there from the beginning and would have been fitting for him to be there in the end. I guess Bryce is really going to do what he decreed to do when the little Elemental came to him. Set out to find the Wind Elemental. Although I m not sure that if or when Bryce finds them that he will be able to pat with Aure's child. I'm with Q. If no sequel, which I think you should do, then maybe an epilogue?

I just get to reading and then its over, hrumph. Enjoying the insight into the other characters while getting to see their thought, reactions, emotions and apprehensions. Long distance relationships can be difficult. They say 'absence makes the heart grow fonder'. Question is how much absence before the heart grows weary? For some it works but for others it spells disaster. Hope these two. if they decide to go for it, can make it work!

What goulash are you cooking up between these two? At least Ash was a gentleman and didn't try to take advantage of the drunk man. We'll see how grateful Michael is when he wakes up.

Epilogue – (10 Years Later)
CW Prince commented on K.C.'s story chapter in Epilogue – (10 Years Later)
I'm glad that Gibby did find love. I'm just saddened that Tanner wasn't somehow able to come back to him. Great story and I loved the ending. Glad that Amanda is somewhat getting her comeuppance! -
So we know that Tanner is dead. That is apparent in his father's confession while he was standing at the base of the stairs. So unless some supernatural mumbo jumbo is going to take place, Tanner is stuck being a ghost. It also quenches my fiery desire that maybe he was just disconnected and Gibby would be able to help him get reconnected to his body. A relationship between the two is not going to be easy...esp if they want to get physical. I don't think they make condoms for ghosts??.. Or at least I've never seen any lol Okay, that may have been a thought better kept to myself but I can't help that my mind is spinning off into left field here trying to come up with all the different ways this story can go. Can't wait to see Ethan's reaction when he finds out that he helped kill his best friend. Will he be next on Amanda's hit list if she sees him buckling under the pressure? Hmmm, guess I'll read on to find out.

Ya know, they make these nice little white jackets were you can hug yourself all day long. You can feel the love as much as you want with no one around and the walls are even padded. I'm a firm believer that we should probably order and fit Amanda with one. Who cares if white isn't her color. Let the b*t*h be washed out and look like anemic leaf of lettuce. Thanks for the warning at the end of the chapter cause, ya know, with the price of fuel I really can't afford to hunt you down, LOL Enjoying the story so far and looking forward to see where this all leads.

I've dealt with a few like this Amanda. She's the loud, boisterous type that needs the attention and for everyone to know what she has done. The best laid plan for attack against her is a silent and stealthy maneuver. Unfortunately doing something like that lowers yourself to her level...so you can't be caught at what you plan, lol. Revenge is a dessert best served on a cold platter.

I'm going out on a limb here and going to assume that Matt was the one seen kissing Jeremy. His eye red and puffy cause he was feeling hurt, betrayed and shunned. Hope this limb I'm climbing out on doesn't get hacked off behind me, lol.

I still do not think this new twist, Joey's uncle being his biological sperm donor, will make much difference in regards to Joey's emancipation. If they try to challenge it I believe they will fail. Joey has a police report showing the type of person his sperm donor is and he further has the report, although dropped, proving that he was robbed by him and his mother. He can also prove harassment via the store incident and now with the one in the parking lot. I do have a question tho. Joey dropped the charges in regards to the stealing but the detective made it clear that Joey did not dropped those on his uncle nor the restraining order. Since the restraining order is in place why doesn't he report that his uncle is violating it? His uncle/sperm donor isn't very smart knowing that he isn't to get close to Joey and yet he continues to do it. I for one would love to see his uncle and mother cause another scene where the cops are called and see his uncle taken off to jail again.

Sounds like lil' Bro may become a handful, lol. I agree with the way that Jase handled the situation but I'm thinking along the same lines as Daithi. Now that Dean knows that he can't drink around his brother or the house I have a haunting suspicion that he'll find another avenue. Just hope he's wearing his helmet cause I have a feeling that avenue is going to afford him a crash course in the consequences of drinking. Do I see AA meetings in Dean's future? I don't think so but I do foresee some very hard and troubling times afoot with him.

Chapter 33 - The Night of Our Lives Part 2
CW Prince commented on Nephylim's story chapter in Chapter 33 - The Night of Our Lives Part 2
Nothing like having a cold hose turned on ya when your being all hot and steamy with the one you love. Wonder if these two will ever find another intimate moment to themselves? I'm in agreement with Pasha. I don't trust this 'invitation'. Something smells fishy to me. I'm happy that Uz let Pasha go with him to this meeting. I'm beginning to think that there isn't anything that those two can't do as long as they are together. -
I keep meaning to leave a comment after each chapter but I've been too engrossed in this story that I just want to get to the next chapter as soon as possible. I'm loving this story. At first I was hoping that the gold dragon, the queen, would choose Jashon. I know, they are only supposed to choose females. You have to admit it would have made an interesting twist to the story and first of many things in store for Jashon. If I am understanding correctly then I assume that most or all of the green riders are gay or tend to lean that way? If that is the case then I am wondering who Jashon will choose to be with in his life?? Will it be his friend that showed him around when he arrived or could it be his younger brother? No, I'm not trying to be twisted here its just that I thought I picked up on a few little things between Jashon and his brother. Could be wrong. It wouldn't be the first and certainly won't be the last. Before I ramble on too much I'll just say that I've love every story of yours that I have read so far. This one is right up there with the rest. Thank-you for sharing your gift with us!

Wonderful. Nice to see the ease and flow of Pete and Jase's conversation. Nice to see that they can disagree on things, not fight and talk thru it. I remember that wasn't always the case. I know that Jase and Pete are not really the main focal point of this nor is this a continuation of their story but its still nice. I'll enjoy it while I can

I still cannot say that I am happy nor even remotely remorseful in what I said about Joey in my previous comment. Everyone deals with things in different ways. That I know all too well. People come into our lives for a reason. Some are like pillars and help support us openly or in their own subtle ways. Some are like a flash of light bringing a burst of happiness, light and enjoyment and then they are gone almost as fast. Some come in and do nothing but create havoc, destruction and devastation. Joey needs to learn what is important, what matters and what will last and decide what HE wants out of life. As much as he argues, fusses and fights about his mom and uncle not having any control over his life, money and the house he sure has let them make some extremely important decisions so far. Money is nice but cannot create nor sustain happiness. A house cannot grant health, love and happiness. When it boils down to it the only thing we really have control over is own lives, the decisions we make in life and the course for which our lives will sail. Every day is like a new blank page in this novel we call life. We are the authors that create and record those words onto the page. We are the authors of our own tale. Joey seems to be so mixed up that he is safeguarding the wrong aspects of his life. I'm glad he is stepping his foot down and protecting his money and taking charge of the house, but what about his life? You can loose money, loose a house...and yes even a life but only one of those losses pull completely you out of the picture. Come on Joey. Take control of the one thing that matters the most and take your life back before its too late!
-
I could make a sailor blush with all the words and phrases that I am thinking towards Joey! The boy, and yes I say boy cause he is acting like a child, needs to pull his head out of his butt and take control of his life. He needs to head back to Jake and make amends. I somehow though do not think he will do that anytime soon. He'll piddle around until its too late. *Sigh* He never should have given up the true love of his life. Once you give that up you are never quite the same nor will you probably get that love back....esp with as many times as Joey has hurt Jake. You may find another to love and be loved by them but it will be a shimmer of the the intensity you once had in your life. They say that time heals all wounds- HA! The loss of your true love never heals. You just learn to live with that pain and go on with life living with a hole in your heart that will never be completely filled.

Always good to read about these two! Interesting that there are now 4 of them living in the apartment. At the end of the story I half expected that they would remain in Pete's apartment so that they could be alone and have a place of their own. I'm curious; if Bake and Ethan stayed in Jason and Pete's room then where did those two sleep? Pretty nice of Jason and Pete to offer their bed so their friends could get intimately aquainted.

I've pretty much kept quiet up to this point. Pondering and allowing my thoughts to silently swirl through my mind and heart. It seems that life has a pension for making the good pay some high prices in their life. Higher then most but with that comes a maturity, understanding and appreciation for life that few others find. Just when nearly everything seems pulled, torn and ripped from their lives they find a way to grasp and cling to that indelible strength that is within them. I'd love to speculate and fathom that Jacob and Joey find their way back to one another but a little small voice is whispering that someone else will come into Jacob's life and make a home within his heart. That is not to say that Joey will leave his heart or loose his home. On the contrary. One never forgets their first love. One simply learns to place that love where it belongs and learns to love again. Great story so far! Looking forward to the remaining chapters with eagerness and excitement.

Looking forward to seeing and revisiting these characters again. I'm going to be a little reserved until i see how your idea plays out as far as it not being a sequel but instead a series of stories written from the different perspectives of the characters. I think it could prove to be quite interesting and I'm looking forward to reading them. My hardest part will be making sure that I allow these shorts to stand on their own and not compare them to Second Shot (which I still believe to be one of the more phenomenal stories that i have read on this site).

Wow, very powerful chapter. Cannot wait to see how you weave this into the fabric of the lives of the boy at the ranch.

Somewhere along the lines I think Corbs has blurred so many lines that he is starting to act out of character and have a difficult time distinguishing which lines he shouldn't cross. I have a feeling he is about to get a reminder. It was good to see that Corb and Pete actually talked. Maybe it wasn't the heart-to-heart, earth shattering moment that Corbs wanted but at least they talked. Of course he then had to follow it up with hurling but, hey, no one is perfect.

Interesting.... I'm not sure how to respond to this turn of events. Part of me wants to be happy that Uzzy learned that he wasn't just a pawn to Gabe and glad that Pasha saved him. Another part of me is worried,a great deal, that this act of compassion and selflessness will one day bite both Uzzy and Pasha on the hide quarters. Hope I am wrong! I find it strange that through everything that Uzzy and Pasha have endured that Uzzy would turn and ask Pasha that question (the one at the end of the chapter). Could it be a hint of what is to come or could it just be an insecurity he is feeling after hearing Gabe's confession of love and wondering how Pasha will react to it? Could it be both? Hmmmm. Quite an interesting chapter that could lead the story into so many new and interesting avenues. Until then, thanks Nephy for another great chapter!

I sure hope that doesn't have bleeding on the brain. That was a pretty bad fall he took. I'm surprised that they didn't notice that Zeph was in heat prior to taking her out on the trails. I can only imagine what Dusty is going to put himself thru knowing that Zach is hurt. Hope he doesn't blame himself for not insisting that he go to the ER to get checked out. I don't believe that Zeph acting up has anything to do with the 'Evil Uncle'. A horse in heat can be very unpredictable..esp if you get them around a stud.
