You may be right about Tomas and Henry, but I know I’ve been infatuated with men that hardly knew I was alive.

Henry finds himself in a brand new world, where he is not so different from everyone else. He need to learn to be strong on his own.

Good catch. ‘Time for a run’ is the equivalent to Scarlett’s, ‘I’ll think about it tomorrow.’

It could be a couple of things. The lumin on the plains is more dense. Tomas was stronger when he went from the plains to Henry’s world. Although Henry contributed lumin to the trip, it didn’t offset the requirements of transporting them both.
