    Chapter 8

Thank you again for your support. There are at least two more story lines in the Luminosity world, but a coherent integration is a little tricky.

  5. ** He left his hiding place and approached the stone Tomas had so reverently embraced. It was overgrown with vines and covered with a layer of dirt. Henry carefully pushed the vegetation to the side, brushed the soil from the stone, and looked in amazement at the deeply chiseled inscription on the ancient block. It was the tome of Gartwim, only different. They were two united in Ymuno â. One was kind and one was strong and they both shined brightly together on the plains. One died in the

    Chapter 7

There might be a hint in the beginning of chapter 1.
  10. Henry visited the Great Shrine almost every day and spent many contemplative hours in the cool, dark sanctuary. He would often repeat the ancient tome Boneddigaidd recited on Henry's first visit to the shrine. Earlier than time itself, there were two united in Ymuno â. One was kind and one was strong, and they both shined brightly together on the plains. One died in the preservation of his people and the other wreaked terrible revenge. Here lies Gar the kind. He found the tome beautifu

For some reason this comment repeated. I don’t know how to delete it so I’m writing over it. 🤔

    Chapter 6

You may be right about Tomas and Henry, but I know I’ve been infatuated with men that hardly knew I was alive.

    Chapter 6

Henry finds himself in a brand new world, where he is not so different from everyone else. He need to learn to be strong on his own.

    Chapter 6

We can only hope that Henry will learn when it’s time to stop running.
  15. ** Aneurin motioned Henry to join him. "Henry, are you happy running with our phalanx?" "Yes, I am Aneurin. I've never been happier." "That is good to hear. We enjoy running with you. You make a good addition to our band of plainsrunners. We would like you to join us permanently." "I would like that more than anything!" After a pause, Henry asked, "Aneurin, where is Tomas?" "Tomas has an urgent matter to attend to." "When will he return?" "I don't know H

    Chapter 5

Good catch. ‘Time for a run’ is the equivalent to Scarlett’s, ‘I’ll think about it tomorrow.’
  17. ** At the next sunrise-sunset, Henry woke to a shimmering aura descending from the brightening sky. Waves of white light poured into Tomas’s body, his wounds slowly knitting, flesh reforming with agonizing slowness. Henry’s breath caught, tears spilling anew—not of grief, but of hope, a fragile spark igniting in his heart. He watched, trembling, as the light worked its miracle, praying it would be enough. ** Henry knelt beside Tomas, his eyes fixed on the faint shimmer of white li

    Chapter 4

It could be a couple of things. The lumin on the plains is more dense. Tomas was stronger when he went from the plains to Henry’s world. Although Henry contributed lumin to the trip, it didn’t offset the requirements of transporting them both.

Thanks for the comment. It’s would be a difficult thing to explain without a demonstration.

    Chapter 4

Part 2 will explore this new world Henry finds himself in.
  22. Tomas stood, stepping a few paces away from the table. “Henry’s different,” he said calmly. “He processes energy in a way no one else here does.” As he spoke, his body began to glow with a brilliant, translucent blue light, soft yet commanding. “This trait will kill him unless we leave this world.” Henry’s parents froze, paralyzed by the spectacle. The glow faded, and Tomas stood before them, casually holding the iced-tea pitcher. “Would anyone like a refill?” ** Henry’s parents s

    Chapter 3

There are many wonders in store for Henry more then Tomas.
  24. ** ‘Control the run, control the run.’ Speed felt good—too good. His body needed it. Faster and faster, the trail blurring. It was like jerking off, that same build-up to a release, but stronger, deeper. As an early teen, he had little else to compare it to, but the sensation was overwhelming, a climax rising within him. Faster, faster, faster—something was happening, something was coming. ** Henry’s senses exploded, a torrent of heightened awareness that overwhelmed him. The worl

Thank you for the comment. I do have an outline for more chapters that involve an inevitable tone change. I might write a part 2 some day. Thanks again
