Why doesn’t Oliver take Orel and leave?

I enjoyed the story but was bummed we didn’t get to see how Lalianus and Torryn’s life turned out. Did they become parents? Was Torryn’s lifespan extended? As for what next, I vote for No. 1. Thank you for posting!

I think Tarquin is making Oliver give him money from the town’s budget, which should land them both in jail. Or am I confused about where the money is coming from?

I’m so glad this happened, because Theo is getting on my damn nerves. Hopefully now he’ll start being less of an asshole. And is Jack fully human? I don’t think so. Do we know anything about his parents?

I thought the package was the return of Alexander’s bracelet that Lyn gave him. But when it turned out to be Lyn’s old glasses (I wondered what happened to those!) I immediately realized that Alexander would never do such a thing. Seriously, the only thing Brad could say that would shock me is that he bottomed for Alexander that summer.

Or Thomas and some other lucky bastard(s). He’s an interesting character study.

Being called a whore and told your mama is a whore is enough to end a friendship. I had to reread the first chapter to be reminded of why Lyn agreed to attend the wedding. Oh, the parallel! El visited Lyn one last time hoping that Lyn would proclaim love and tell him not to commit to the other dude. I can’t help feeling that Brad invited Lyn for the same reason. And has Brad ever truly apologized for ANYTHING?

What a fantastic closing chapter. The D&D game was adorable, and enlightening. Well done! One thing: does Garrett no longer need a cane?

I just keep thinking if Finn throws the fact that he knows Garrett bottoms for Kyle in Garrett’s face, that’s it. Garrett will kill him and willingly rot in prison. Bad way for the story to end.

You know what word I haven’t seen I this story? THERAPY. They should get a group rate.

Calvin’s got it bad. Mason is just too twitterpated to see that he has the power in this situation. But frankly, who could keep it together with someone who pushes all your sexual buttons?

I read it completely differently. I thought this was after Alexander and Brad had the conversation mentioned in the last chapter. The one where Alexander told Brad that Lyn was straight and he had no chance, and Brad had sussed out Alexander’s obsession with Lyn. And “you just can’t stand that I might have a chance” was Brad rubbing Lyn’s crush on him in Alexander’s face. I have to admit, I get why Brad doesn’t want to study. I think ADHD is a part of it. I also think Brad is avoiding the reality that school will be done soon and he has to become a functioning adult. As long as he doesn’t study and doesn’t think about his classes, then graduation isn’t happening. What threw me is the idea that Brad is a moral absolutist. That dude’s morals are slipperier than lube! Lyn is the moral absolutist. (Also, who else was surprised Brad knew the words “moral absolutism”?)

Well, I got my question from the last chapter answered. I’m a new visitor to this world and I have some catching up to do.

Does Kyle own the Tim Horton’s? Otherwise, why is the class nerd not in college on a scholarship? Everyone is 19, right? Painfully young.

Welp. I guess we know who bought Lyn’s house and made sure he got into the law school of his choice. Brad would’ve destroyed Lyn in college. These three shouldn’t be friends.

I think Lyn was gobsmacked at the idea of Brad catching Alexander mid-jerk session. As for freshman year: “Back then, it was an educated guess. Because of his big crotch.” Brad gestured at his own, making Lyn’s eyes glide toward the point of interest. “I got the confirmation last year.”

And THIS is what Bella wants. They deserve each other. Looks like we’re finally close to whatever disbanded the heroic trio. I hope it’s the next retro chapter.

Well. That’s fucked up. Bella just ensured she and Lyn will *never* be close friends. What did Luke expect Lyn to do with the information he learned? That’s what I wanna know. And hey! Alexander kissed Lyn in front of everyone! Yeah, it was on the temple, but you know their new intimacy is palpable. I’m 99% sure Brad saw.
