I will admit that the idea was first seeded by re-watching the film, and the phrase "I shall never have grandchildren" stuck with me and replayed itself until the idea got lodged, but this isn't fanfiction, or a version of their future. My Jamie is very different from that Jamie, and Ste is not the same guy, though he suffers from some of the same problems. Jamie's mum is a very different person altogether, that's for sure. (Interestingly, I kept Ste's name not because of Ste from the film, but because I met a couple called Jamie and Ste in Korea whilst travelling, and this Ste is based a bit off him too). I'm glad you liked the story though, and thank you for the review.

Who makes tea in the microwave!? That had me reeling for a long time!

so read Daddy Issues whenever, that's the whole point. Also, the Pantheon Reference Document is supposed to be just that, a reference for who's who, so it's easier to keep track of the cast. Just because I know them all off by heart doesn't mean I expect y'all to as well.

He probably ended up a lifeguard at a pool, bored out of his mind and sexually repressed... *shrug* I'm glad you liked it, thank you so much for the review.

hehehehe! They all have so many jobs, depending on when during the dynasty's you look them up. I was never a an SG-1 person, but I loved Stargate. I fancied that version of Ra rotten as a teenager. Not a film to watch with your very-straight older brother... which was a shame, because it was his DVD. -
Thanks hoho! I'm glad you liked it. Hey, in my mind, Anubis is a slightly rebellious older-teen with two much time on his hands - so that's what he speaks like! Thank you, and you're welcome

A discussion topic for the two current Anubis stories, posted in the awesome Rewind anthology. There will be more to come. Useful links: Pantheon Reference Document Daddy Issues Trade Deals The stories are not put together into a collection deliberately, as they can be read in any order. Time is fluctual in nature, especially if you're an immortal deity, and numbering the stories would seem wrong given this fact.

The Egyptian Pantheon As understood by Sasha Distan. The lives of deities are governed by their own polytheist pantheon of power and responsibility. Osiris: Human elder god, head of the pantheon (after Ra), responsible for fertility and agriculture. Son of Nut (the sky) and Geb (the earth). Isis: Osiris's wife and sister. Human goddess. Magical power and healing. “She of the Throne”. Horus: Son of Isis and Osiris. Falcon headed god of sky, war and protection. Anubis’s sometime lover and fri

There's a lot of little details about Tut's tomb which if you ever decide to study it will surprise and hopefully delight you. Set got a good comeuppance, but eternity is a long time, and you can't always keep a bad dog down...

Thank you Jesse. Thank you very much xxx

Thanks Tim! I'm glad you enjoyed them all. Thoth is such a bore! I wonder how long Nerfertum will be able to be polite for before he gets too bored with lessons. Anu is the best, we all know this.

*dances* so many words!!! You can read them in any order Tim, there were designed and checked that way. But thank you sweetie. -
Jamie looked up from his half-finished burger and smiled at his mother. He took a sip of his imported fruity cider, just to bide the time, and then put down his food. Now was as good a time as any to break the news. He’d waited long enough, finished listening to his mother bitch about the latest episode of office infighting at work, sat through all of the news of his aunt’s latest escapades in Florida, and patiently given his attention to the discussion of the new town planning meeting which he

When Jamie tells his mother she's going to be a grandmother, he's not expecting to get slapped around the face in a posh country pub, but then, no one ever expected him to have children. Explaining everything to his mother is not something Jamie is looking forwards to.

It's a brand new day in the Nile delta, the sun is being pushed across the sky by a giant scarab beetle, and Anubis is bored. Luckily for him, there are plenty of distractions for a young god with a wandering eye. Unluckily, there are also responsibilities to be seen to, and the jackal headed god of the underworld has never been very good at denying himself what he really wants.

Anubis watched as Horus threw the four casting sticks and successfully moved two of his counters off the board. The falcon clicked his beak in delight, clutching the pretty opal stones in one hand, and he grinned at his friend. “Your turn, Anu.” The jackal flicked his ears, trying not to show how displeased he was, threw the sticks, and ended up in the House of Waters. “Ah, fuck.” “Boys!” Both gods flinched at the reprimanding voice from the doorway. Isis frowned at the pair as she settled t

“You little shit.” “Uh-huh… don’t get pissy with me, bird-face, or I won’t be putting my excellent skills to use on you later.” Anubis considered the layout of the Senet board for a moment and then moved one of his beautifully carved obsidian canopic jar shaped counters to a square where one of Horus's own opals had been waiting. As well as setting his opponent back four squares, his three pieces were now safe and protected by the their alignment on the board; Anubis knew it would take a lot of

When Horus and his family leave the city of the Gods to travel up the Nile, Anubis resigns himself to being bored without the company of his oldest friend. He does not however plan on being awoken in the pitch black to discover that the sun has been accidentally sealed into a temple, and that he is the only one qualified to retrieve it. If only such quests were simple.

Well I'm very glad about that! My shifters aren't really like other shifters, I suppose. At least, I think they're different. Hopefully if we've put you in a shifter mood, you'll love some of what's coming up next! -

It's a dream, not a vision, but a 'true dream', like a lucid dream perhaps, but far more vivid. All my shifters (this universe, not Born Wolf) have dream spaces which are important to them. Paddy and Troy had the cord which lead to another combined forest which smelt a bit like Troy's home and a bit like Paddy's home where they could spend time alone when they had no opportunity for privacy. Each pair gets something which will help them. Emmett and Jian have vastly different ideas of paradise, and so their link allows them somewhere where they are both 100% comfortable and happy without having to be apart. Wouldn't it be lovely if you and your soul-mate could have such a thing? *wistful sigh*
