Kiorl is the right hand of the Devil, and sits on the left hand of the Prince of Hell, he is the third most powerful demon in the Inner Circle, and a cocky, confident, self-conceited son-of-a-bitch. But Kiorl's life isn't perfect, sharing the King's bed for political gain might be more trouble than it's worth, and apparently he has developed a conscience at some point in the last hundred years or so. Still, there's plenty of fun distractions to be had in the most favoured house on the hill.

@Timothy M. is correct, Jahke always had a transformation. He becomes Everybody's Favourite Faun. Jahke is pronounced je-hake (think of the 'je' like it's french) but you have to say it quick because it's only one syllable. Thank you both, many hugs.

There isn't art of them, actually there isn't art of any of my characters. Honestly, I've had these guys living in my head for so long, I can't really remember what it was like before I knew what they looked like. But yeah, they weren't inspired by anything, they just came 'as is'.

Thank you so much! And I'll take you up on that. Gosh, I only thought about Cole the other day too (I drove past the farm near here which has the big stone slab with the hole in as their gate marker). He will always be very special to me. I'm so glad you thought he and his peers read as natural and realistic.

I'm going to say that at least half of it is the rewrite, possibly more. I am a better writer now than I was then, and I have put significantly more hours into these guys now too. They are far more rounded individuals. Does anyone actually like the torture=i love him part of their relationship? Probably no one except them. But I can't change how they are (they'd hate me). Thank you for the compliment about dialogue! I make no secret of the fact that I hate writing dialogue, I think I suck at it tbh, so to have it praised makes me feel very warm and cuddly. I try very hard with it. I hope you like the next one!

They all have their own little charm for sure, and some are more evil than others. But yeah, that's why I like them too!

Sitka blinked as his vision came back into focus. Hey, thanks so much for coming back, and for commenting again! I think I must have missed your comment when you left it, because that is lovely feedback if ever I saw any. Thank you! I'm so glad you liked their families, I often find bit-part supporting characters really hard, but I was especially pleased with Theo's brothers. Their teasing is my favourite kind. I'm so glad you enjoyed the boys and their story.

It's the same number of words as all the other chapters! and yes, Sitka is going to need extra cuddles afterwards. Zai has a job too, he's not a professional baby sitter 😅. and Kiorl's not half as heartless as he likes to pretend to be. Sitka is a Good Boy for sure, but he is not a powerful demon within the Inner Circle. He got lucky with Jahke, something was bound to go wrong sometime.

Zai has to ask special permission to go indulge in other people, but yes, he does get to play outside of his relationship.

This was without a doubt, my favourite scene to write so far. I don't get to do a lot of demon-to-demon interaction, especially when they are being sweet with each other instead of posturing for power. And I mean 😳 can you imagine walking into a bathroom full of steam and seeing those four being all touchy with each other? We'd all melt.
