  6. Kiss of the Vampire Strange times Vladimir and Constantine had been working hard on The Grimoire, their faces lined with exhaustion and concentration. The ancient book lay open on the table between them, its pages filled with spells far too dangerous to ever see the light of day again. Constantine sighed heavily, rubbing his temples. "We need a break, Vladimir. This book is a nightmare." Vladimir nodded, closing the book with a thud. "You're right. Let
  7. Joke of the day! A man is driving through the countryside when his car suddenly breaks down in front of a monastery. As luck would have it, a monk sees him struggling and offers help. They push the car into the monastery courtyard, and the monks invite the man to stay for dinner and the night. Grateful, the man sits down to a delicious meal in the grand dining hall. As night falls, he is shown to a cozy room to sleep in. But just as he’s drifting off, he hears a strange noise. It’s unlike anything he’s ever heard—haunting, melodic, yet utterly mysterious. The next morning, over breakfast, he asks the monks, “What was that sound I heard last night? It was... beautiful, but so strange.” The head monk replies with a gentle smile, “Ah, you heard the sound, but I’m afraid I can’t tell you what it is. You’re not a monk.” The man’s curiosity is piqued, but he doesn’t press further. Once his car is repaired, he thanks the monks and goes on his way. Years later, the same man happens to be driving through the countryside again, and wouldn’t you know it, his car breaks down in the exact same spot. He’s once again welcomed into the monastery with open arms. That night, as he lies in bed, he hears the strange, enchanting noise once more. It’s even more captivating than he remembered. The next morning, he asks the monks again, “Please, you’ve got to tell me—what is that sound?” The head monk repeats, “I’m sorry, but I cannot tell you. You’re not a monk.” The man can’t let it go this time. “Then how do I become a monk?” he asks. The head monk strokes his beard and says, “It’s not easy. To become a monk, you must travel the earth and count every single blade of grass and every grain of sand. Only then will you be worthy of knowing the secret.” Determined, the man sets out on this monumental task. For years, he journeys across deserts, plains, mountains, and beaches, counting every blade of grass and grain of sand he encounters. After a lifetime of dedication, he finally returns to the monastery and presents his findings. “I have done it,” he says, exhausted but triumphant. “There are 371,678,914,251 blades of grass and 231,299,761,349,292 grains of sand on Earth.” The head monk nods solemnly. “Congratulations. You are now worthy of knowing the secret. Follow me.” He leads the man to a massive, ancient wooden door with gold inlays. “The sound you seek lies beyond this door,” the monk says, handing the man an ornate golden key. Trembling with anticipation, the man unlocks the door. Behind it is another door, even larger and more ornate. The monk hands him another key. The man unlocks the second door, only to find yet another door behind it. This process repeats—door after door, key after key—until finally, the man reaches a tiny, unassuming wooden door. “This is it,” the monk says. “The final door.” The man’s hands shake as he turns the last key. Slowly, he pushes the door open to discover the source of the mysterious sound. And you know what it was? …I can’t tell you. You’re not a monk.

  12. I just don't think so we were working a story I was writing at the time which I have finished it long ago. And he came back with this massage: December 29, 2024 Hi Albert I'm OK now. Physically, I am healthy. Mentally, I am recovering. I have been suffering from a massive depression that lasted many months. I haven't experienced something like that for well over two decades. I have the skills to fight it, but kept getting hit with events that set me back further each time. The main theme was human mortality. To be honest, it started with the news of Craig's comma and spiraled from there as I learned about the deaths of friends both here and in the USA. The last happened about two weeks ago when a resident of my condo jumped to his death from the top of the building. He was 90 years old and going blind. I have been fighting the depression all along, but have finally made progress this last week. This is the first time I have written anyone in several months. Let the others in our group know I am OK. I'm hoping to get completely back to normal soon. Aod and I are doing well. Our friends here have been a great support for both of us. Take care my friend, I hope he is ok but I dont know for sure!
