    Thank you for the review. Yes — those who remain loyal to England now find themselves defending a frightened nine‑year‑old king against a foreign prince who believes the crown should be his. Kaylen, Tomas, and Ronan have gathered the information Marshal needs, but the danger grows with every hour. Their challenge now is simply reaching Gloucester before the situation worsens and before Louis’s forces close the distance. The race back to the new king is every bit as important as the battle that may follow.

    Thank you for the review. Yes — with King John gone, the weight of the realm now rests on young Henry’s shoulders, and every loyal man must move quickly. Kaylen, Ronan, and Tomas are riding hard to gather the information the new king needs, and they know Louis will not delay his advance. They intend to be ready when the French forces arrive, and the choices they make in these next moments will shape what happens when the two sides finally meet. More of that tension is coming as the story pushes toward the confrontation ahead.

    Thanks for the thoughtful reading. You’ve got the heart of the situation exactly right. With King John gone and young Henry newly crowned, William Marshal becomes the one man capable of holding the kingdom together. Louis can’t truly claim the throne while the rightful English king still lives, so the conflict now turns on speed, loyalty, and who can gather strength the fastest. A major battle at Gloucester is very possible. Kaylen and his companions are racing back to warn Marshal about Louis’s advance, and the force of archers Kaylen summoned from Baron Aldwyn may be the deciding factor. Whether they reach Gloucester in time — and whether their arrows can turn the tide — is the question the story is now driving toward. More to come as the storm closes in.
