I have a couple of decent moon photos that I've taken myself. It's a fun thing to do, but my lens only goes up to 200mm, so they're not very good. I have a friend in California who's an astronomy professor and who does some pretty amazing astrophotography, and I am so jealous of him! We're talking galaxies and nebulas and all sorts.
S/he is being quite active enough just now, but snacks and cider may be necessary in the near future. Thankfully, my mate Robin is coming to visit from England on Saturday, and he's promised to bring Quavers.
(Hate that there's no gender-neutral pronoun in English... they have one in Swedish, it's awesome.)
Oh, yah, look at that. Happy Independence Day, you across-the-pond, State side folk! Have awesome celebrations and remember to keep your pets indoors and safe so they don't get too scared of the fireworks.
I usually go for subbed, too, but there have been rare instances where the dub is actually better, such as Beck. I used to be such a total snob at this, but I've mellowed out since my teens.
I like it. I don't think it tastes much of anything. It's my cooking oil of choice, because it can stand to be heated properly and is without trans fats. For dressings and stuff I stick to olive oil, though. Preferably Greek kalamata oil or Palestinian olive oil from Taybeh, as those are superior in taste. I also use sesame oil sometimes for asian food. For frying meats for more traditional European dishes, though, I usually use butter because nom.
Were he not fictional, you mean?
Really cool that it's moving. Pretty sure the physicist is right. Of course, the physicist could be right AND someone could be playing a really elaborate prank, somehow causing the vibrations on purpose.
