discussions about lost loves, lost virginities, dreams, desires, disappointments
Not sure why this phrasing hit me so hard. Maybe it's those beautiful alliterations. I've always tried to pull it off. Never could.
Also, Brennisteinn came up on my playlist during the make-out scene. Not sure why, but for some reason I find that song wonderfully erotic and it fit so well.
Your descriptions in this chapter are so vivid; the ranch, the house, Travis's little bunk house, I could see it all in my head as I read it. It's beautiful. Thank you.
Morning, everyone! I'm up before noon! Yay! Hope you've all had a good night. Hope your shift has gone/is going well, @Starrynight22.
Paul is at a job interview today. Like one of those group interview things where they make you do stuff as a team. The business he's applied to is very modern, lol! It's a hotel chain, and he's interviewing as a waiter in the restaurant of their newest hotel. Here's hoping, as it would actually be a very decent job. It's a good franchise known for taking care of its workers.
Gonna stop reading for sleeps and pick it up again tomorrow, but before I do I just wanted to say that I'm really enjoying this story. Travis seems really interesting. And hot, too. I wonder if anything more happened between them, other than just kissing? I look forward to maybe finding out, and to seeing what happens next.
I've been meaning to read more of your stuff for a while, and then Wayne said to read this, so now I am. You've already got me intrigued. Ben is an interesting character. It's funny, I also have a character named Ben who's a movie star in one of my stories, lol! Anyway, gonna keep reading.
I love Patrick. When I first introduced him in book 2 he was such an arse, but then in book 3 he just became so nice. Just the sweetest motherfucker on the planet. So yeah, he deserved a good boyfriend. Glad you enjoyed it too!
They say that about swearing, too. Which I wholeheartedly believe.
Makes sense, though... If your brain's busy being smart, you can't expect it to remember the little things, right?
