  1. Not too bad. My cold is getting better, and so is my anxiety. Been writing some. So all in all, things are pretty good.
  2. *sneaks back in* Hi, everybody. Hope you're all well.

    Chapter 13

Aww, little baby kitten! That's adorable! All snug with the chickies. Paul persists in being adorable. And wow, Harris has a dark past, doesn't he? That's one hell of a revenge crusade he went on. Still, who can blame him? Concerned about Stefano. Also concerned about Luca's Family. How did they find out about Paul? More, please!
  4. This was a powerful read.

    Chapter 12

He didn't note the number because it was part of the combination, but to make sure the safe was exactly the way it was when he got there, so Harris wouldn't be able to tell that anyone had been there.
  6. Clocks don't go forward until the 31st of March on this side of the pond. But either way, we hates it, precious!
  7. The queen of cliffhangers is you! (But I know what happens next, hehehe...)

    Chapter 12

Sneaky cleaner person is sneaky. I am concerned. But Paul and Corbin... Things are really heating up, aren't they? Emotionally, not just physically. Seemed like a nice party. I love baked potatoes! We sometimes have them at D&D. Though I agree with droughtquake. Naked hot tub is best hot tub. Can't blame Chad for being suspicious, I suppose, but he seems to have taken Corbin at his word, for now. Of course, it seems he may be about to find out more from work... More, please!
  9. PC gamer all the way here. Never owned any consoles growing up and the controllers make me nervous, lol! I got a Wii literally just for exercise, cause you will never get me to a gym, I refuse to work out in front of other people. All my 'proper' games are on PC. Looking into getting a PS4, though, cause there are some games I really want to play that are exclusive. I guess I'll just have to learn the controllers.
  10. I should probably get around to recording the songs I've written for my stories, too. Maybe someone will like them.
  11. It's a great song. I'm sure Jonathan's version will be awesome!
  12. They worked for me in the sense that they made me less depressed. But they also made me virtually unable to write after a while. They're also not recommended for people with bipolar disorder, so when I got my diagnosis last year, they changed my meds. Poof! Creativity outflow!
  13. It's interesting how these things change... Over here in Norway, swearing is rarely if ever censored on TV. Songs are never censored on the radio, no matter what time of day it is. Many years ago now, I played the computer game The Sims 2. There's a thing they do for the sims games, where they get real artists to record their songs in 'Simlish', the pretend language that the sims speak. Lily Allen recorded her song Smile in Simlish. Now, the original English version of this song had the line 'you were fucking the girl next door' in it. This line was censored in the radio version. But in a forum I encountered a person who was asking how she could remove this song from her game. Even though the song was in Simlish, which is literally gibberish, the fact that the original had the word fuck in it was too much for this poor soul to handle. To this day, I am flabbergasted by this...
  14. Hey, Mike! Welcome to the family. I'm sure you'll like it here.
  15. This article from Out Magazine appeared in my Facebook feed. Op-ed: Trans Women Deserve Better From Us. A good read. This is the kind of queer feminism that's needed today.
  16. Thank you, Mac. I really appreciate that, and I appreciate you for your encouragement and the friendship you've shown me.
  17. Yeah, it never came back after that short summer test run... Looking back, I see why, but at the time it was a revelation.
  18. When I learned that I was bipolar, a lot of things fell into place. Namely why, even though I'm introvert, I sometimes become super social and chatty to the point of annoying people around me. Hypomania does that, lol! And depression makes me even more introvert, to the point of shyness and just completely shutting people out. Anxiety makes me shy. It's odd, shifting so much, but at least now I know why.
  19. I prefer writing verse characters, myself. Most of the time, anyway. I'm glad you found my writing on point. I think these are important subjects that need to be addressed. I have experienced in the past talking about how misogyny relates to homophobia and being completely shut down...
  20. What you say about labels here is very important. The point isn't to not have labels. The point is to create and describe our own labels. And yes, having the labels and identities that we've created for ourselves erased makes us invisible. Very well put. As for your first comment, and trying to understand and learn, I think you're doing a very good job at that, and I appreciate you for it.
  21. That's really great, Wayne.
  22. Succinct points around gender by Natalie Wynne: Visit her YouTube channel for more, she's funny and she's clever and honestly, very educational as well, if you're interested in political philosophy.
