Hi, Dughlas! How are you doing today?
-
Hi, Albert! How are things?
-
What a sweet poem! Some people surprise you. There is beauty in this world, in humans. I really love this. That story you linked to is very upsetting, though. It's like when scholars are like, 'Nooo, Shakespeare wasn't bisexual, those 126 sonnets he wrote to a young man were platonic!' Sigh... History was written by straight people.

Ouch. Did the updates get interrupted maybe?

I've been lactose intolerant since my late teens. Runs in my family. Mind you, about 80% of the world's population are lactose intolerant. You guys are the mutants, not me, lol! Took a while to get lactose free products here, but now we have milk, cream, sour cream, creme fraiche, a few different kinds of yoghurts, and they keep making more as demand goes up. The lactose free options are more expensive, though. Like lactose free milk is more than twice the price as regular, but it is what it is. OMG, that sounds amazing!

Greek yoghurt is amazing. I should buy it more often, but the lactose free kind is expensive...

I went to private school from year 5 through year 10. That would be from I was 11 until I was 16. It was a Catholic school, actually. Thankfully, proper sex education is mandatory for all schools in this country no matter how religious they are. The curriculum in general is mandated by the public school board. So we learned everything. Our teacher was far more embarrassed about it all than we were... Hi, Drew! Hope you're having a good day. Again, you should really write that story, dude.
-
I know, right? Well, given how little they know about how the human body works, hopefully they won't be reproducing much... Mine too. Boyfriend wants me to watch it with him. I will eventually, just haven't got round to it yet. Never been a hug Trek fan (don't dislike it either, just never really got into it) but from what I've seen I think I'll really like Discovery once I try it out.
-
Not too bad. Movers are here. We're hiding out in the bedroom with the cat, lol! (Apparently I already said this... got memory like a goldfish, me...) That's my boyfriend's opinion, too. Apparently Trekkies are very divided on on the topic, though, as it recons some stuff... Agreed.

I found it! 21 People Who Got the Female Anatomy Very, Very Wrong And: You Might Know The Female Anatomy, But These 22 People Clearly Do Not
-
It's horrifying how many people, even people with vaginas, are woefully ignorant of how the female anatomy even works. There have been a couple of BuzzFeed pieces on this, I'll see if I can find them. Also: Afternoon, Marty! Hope you're well today.
-
An all too familiar feeling.
-
Yes it is. It's also a lot bigger than you'd think, with 'arms' reaching down along the inner labia and into the vagina. And they still don't teach this is sex ed... The clitoris is kind of a proto-penis. All foetuses start out 'female', with the clitoris turning into a penis later in the pregnancy. This is why when trans dudes take T the clitoris grows considerably. It can then be fashioned into a functioning penis through surgery, though it won't be very big. And the prostate is actually the equivalent of the uterus, if you'd believe that. It's all super interesting, I think. EDIT: I deeply apologise to anyone who's grossed out by this anatomy lesson, lol!

That's a good idea. The movers are here now, so boyfriend and I have taken Tesla into the bedroom. We're all three of us on the bed. I'm editing and boyfriend's watching Star Trek Discovery on the iPad. Tesla is alarmed by all the noise out there, but she's settled down.
-
Wow, you're doing really well! Not that I'm surprised. You're smart and a hard worker. Hope you're giving yourself a little room to breathe, though.

I’ve done that, too, twice. Though I haven’t recorded them. They’re written for guitar and I’m a frankly shit guitar player, lol! You should put whatever you like in your stories. Nothing new under the sun, dude. -
Morning, Gary! How are you today? Poor kitties... Tesla will not be a happy kitten either when the movers come today... Think I’ll be keeping her in my room.
-
Kinda feel like it should be the little woman in the boat...

Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad. It’s one of my favourites. It’s about a rock band. Very cool character designs, and the music animations are amazing, they’ve really put a lot of work into making sure they match what’s actually being played. Boyfriend hasn’t seen it before, so we’re watching it together. Me too, tbf, Morning everybody!
-
Morning, DiC. Happy Saturday! Movers will be here in a couple of hours, I think. Can’t wait to get all this shit out of the way... Also, my (former) flatmate packed my tuna, lol! Four tins. They’re somewhere in a moving box... She’s gonna return them tonight, when she comes to tidy up after herself, cause figuring out which one is it will be a bit difficult.

Music. If you look at my novels, there are musicians in all of them. Every single one that I’ve got on here involves people who play music. Lol! -
Hope everyone’s had a nice Friday. Mine became better after eating dinner, watching anime, and playing video games. Bedtime now. Night, everyone!

Known some gay guys who like touching boobs, too. God knows why. Is it just cause they’re funny and squishy? That is so awesome!
