  1. Hi, Mac. How are you doing?
  2. *waves* Hi, everyone... Hope you're all well.
  3. Hi, Page! Hope you're well today. Such a sweetie! Oh, and the dog's cute, too. Which country is he in?
  4. Also, this. I identify with Anthony... Bet I’m not the only one.
  5. Morning, Gary! The bully part I think is acting for reality TV... when you see him just being a TV chef and cooking scrambled eggs, or coaching kids on MasterChef Junior he seems like the chillest bro. A bit manic, admittedly. I’ll bet he’s bipolar like me. In other news, I just got myself a new sauté pan, from the Jamie Oliver Tefal collection. Since my flatmate is moving out I’ll be pan-less in a couple of days.... but no more!
  6. Hi, Kitt! Hi, Albert! Not too cold today, but it snowed overnight... Hi, Marty!
  7. Beautiful as always.
  8. I needed some tunes that would relax me when I was anxious... So I decided to listen to Belle and Sebastian.
  9. The most wonderful thing about Gordon Ramsey is Master Chef jr, though. Cause people heard he was gonna be on it and were like, 'He's gonna crucify those poor kids!' And then he turns out to be the kindest, most nurturing teacher in the history of ever. He's firm, too, but he encourages them, consoles them when they screw up, and is just all-round sweet. Relatedly, I came upon this tumblr thread a while back concerning Alton Brown and Cutthroat Kitchen, and though I have never watched it in my life I suddenly want to... Morning, everybody! Having lunch with my mum today.
  10. It's snowing again... Night, everyone!
  11. I like Jamie Oliver... But I kind of prefer Gordon Ramsey. There's something about people who shout and swear a lot that I find somehow appealing.
  12. That helps. Although Isis, who also had time to turn 20, was an outdoor cat for most of her life. Of course, that was out in the country faaaaar away from cars and pollution and stuff like that. Sad. Lol! The bedroom. Hi, Marty!
  13. Wow, that is one old cat! Though I've got to say, I miss Lovelace a lot even though I only had her for three years. She was a very special, if whimsical and slightly daft kitty. Also, Tesla and Lovelace are the first pets I've had of my own. You know, since I moved out and stuff.
  14. My mum's always named her pets for mythological and ancient historic people. So we've had Cassandra, Oedipus, Anubis, Serapis, and Meritaten. When she was younger she had Isis, Nefertiti, Totmes, Ramses (cats), and also Minerva and Hannibal, who were guinea pigs. I decided to go for scientists (hence Tesla and Lovelace) and artists for mine. Naming pets is fun. I really admire people who give their pets utterly normal human names. It always sounds so funny to me, lol! My aunt has a cat named Molly. Hi Caz!
  15. Yum, bacon mac & cheese!
  16. That sounds like excellent breakfast.
  17. Hi, Page! How are you today?
  18. My cat, Tesla, lost her sister Lovelace back in November. Lovelace was only 3... She died from liver failure. She'd eaten something toxic. I feel really guilty cause I didn't realise she was sick until it was too late, and I feel like I should have. She was eating less, and I ought to have taken her to the vet straight away, but I waited too long. EDIT: Sorry, that got very dark and grim...
  19. Like, a whole roast?
  20. The most amazing thing about that story isn't really that he learned to pull the flap inward. There's this little button thing (I cannot language today) that blocks the door and flicks down when a cat with a registered ID chip comes near from the outside, to prevent other cats from entering the house. So he learned to push that little thingy down and pull the flap open with his claws at the same time. It is honestly really impressive.
  21. I would do that, but I don't think my landlords would let me, lol! My mum's cats learned to do that. They have a cat door that's ID chip activated from the outside, and then you can lock it so it opens only one way or the other, or is locked entirely. Anubis was like, screw that, and learned to pull the thing inward even when it was locked. Clever boy. Then he taught his brother.
  22. This one looks a little bit like a guy I went to high school with... Just his face, he has a leaner build. He's an opera singer now and turned out to be gay af. His best friend was surprised. I was not. Lol!
  23. Pretty good. Taking it easy. Gonna have to start thinking about dinner soon.
  24. Yay! That's awesome. Glad you're getting some rest. Glad I'm not the only one, lol! I'm rereading Nemesis 3. Haven't read it since I was editing and posting it, so now, reading it in its entirety, I have that, 'Did I really write this?' feeling going on.
  25. Hi, Gary! Hope you're having a good day!
