Never has having ordinary lives sounded so wonderful after all that chaos. People having shed all the contrived performances can finally be their best selves. A very emotional story. As happy as I am for their HEA, I will miss the daily anticipation of reading a new chapter. Thank you

Only a heartless, self serving a-hole person (I won’t give him the title of father) would treat his son as a chattel to be manipulated like this. His mother couldn’t even fight for him but hides behind not being able to understand him.

Ryder reminds me of the person who tells the person he is cheating with that they’ll leave their partner but never does. As long the fake Margot narrative continues his relationship with Ryder should remain texting friends only.

Just so amazed at your awesome imagination! You’ve woven an epic tales of ancient magic and infused it with heartwarming romance. I agree there are seeds for a sequel with Zereth escaping with some soldiers (or do you deal with him in the epilogue?). I’d like to see the irrepressible Ash as a father of a very precocious son lol. So many story arcs possible if you feel so inclined and your health allows it.
