  1. I'm not sure it's always homophobia, with someone like Sam, it was obviously fear of what others' reactions would be.
  2. I'm not sure Colt realized all he had been holding in for a while. I do think airing out his issues and having someone (even if Apollo's just a friend) and something new in his life will help him move forward.

    Planting Seeds

I wiggled in the airplane seat, trying to find a comfortable position. Apollo had mauled my ass before driving me to the airport, and it felt as if his lamppost of a dick was still inside me. The man was hung. We had progressed from workout buddies to casual friends and after a gym planning lunch, we ended up in bed. We repeated the afternoon a few times over the subsequent months. It was now April, and the previous night he had spent at my place, so he could drive me out to Newark Airport t
  4. Thanks. I've told people my stories are not meant to be read one-handed before. I include sex references/scenes when I think they're important to advancing the story. In Malibu I mentioned the MCs going at it in every chapter, because I wanted to show a couple of middle-aged DINKS going at it with abandon while on vacation. Here, Colt and Apollo ending up in bed is important to this story and future ones. A few raunchy words can get the idea across better than another description of inserting part A into slot B.
  5. I read it first thing this morning.
  6. I'm not always happy with what I produce but have felt less that way in the past year. Experience helps.
  7. I like it when I can hook readers on my stories. LOL
  8. I found one picture on Pinterest but it's rather small. When I enlarged it, you can tell the guys are stacked and appear well hung.
  9. For someone in his line of work, 80 hours a week is probably a standard they often exceed. I think someone as big and hairy as Apollo could be intimidating. The guy smiles a lot, so that would soften his appearance enough to allow Colt to explore the personality without being repulsed or scared.
  10. Thanks, bud. Glad you enjoyed it.
  11. After the Penn State debacle, I doubt any college football coach would duplicate Bryant's move.
  12. I read something about Michelangelo's David having a tiny pecker because of the intended viewing angle. Either that or he took a cold shower before posing.
  13. Somebody wiping sweat off their face at the gym got you hooked? I wonder what would happen if I started every story with a similar scene. LOL
  14. Thanks, Dave. I like starting chapters with an action scene and preferably with dialogue. By switching between the past and the present, I get to avoid a bunch of narration of what already happened as the opening. Believe it or not, this is in part the result of Singer and Ranger. Chipper's story definitely helped me learn how to condense something while still providing the necessary events. That's what I did with the info dump material. Brad's story jumped back and forth in time so I was confident it would work here too.
  15. In case nobody else has noticed, as of today, with 115 reactions, Running with the Pack is the most popular story ever posted on Gay Authors. Way to go @WolfM
  16. Hope you're as excited after this. Colt has been a recurring character in the CJ series, and Apollo appeared in the 'prompt flash' story "Gym Partners." I changed a couple of details and expanded it ten-fold. https://gayauthors.org/story/carlos-hazday/promptrides/14
  17. LMAO Not that old. I based my comment on research of 21st century Greeks.
  18. I'll have to thank Google for increasing my chapter views. Keep researching.
  19. Based on limited experience, the statues are not actual size.
  20. Thanks, bud. I'll post the next chapter in a few days.
  21. I'm sorry, the author you are trying to reach is currently watching the Dolphins-Patriots game. We'll get your message to him at half-time.
  22. Let's review the contracts, but first, let's screw. LMAO I think Colt's too smart to let some big muscle stud cloud his thinking. I said I think!
  23. Thanks, Parker. You starting to post Double Concerto inspired me to sharethis one. I'd been holding on to it for a bit.
  24. I've missed my name popping up too. Not so much because of the popping but because of the interaction with readers. This is the end of my completed story inventory. I do have three other in the works, but none will see the light of day for a bit. I have a couple of thousand words down on my fall anthology entry, a couple hundred words on Spring Break, and I started work on chapter 7 of Cadet this morning. I'm over the pandemic block and writing daily, so hopefully we'll have good stuff coming.
  25. Thanks, Chris. It was about time I tackled Colt and WOOF since I'd already done Tony and PRIME.
