  1. Most of my stories are about realistic people; although this one covers an entirely fictitious event, zombies would have been a bit too fantastical. My attempt at fantastical creatures has been limited to the weredolphins of Atlantis Shift. Thank you for reading and commenting. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Off the top of my head, the only story waiting is American Steel. Is that the one? I did feature the main character in a CJ book, although those events took place a bit after the last riding story. It's on my list of WIP, but it may take a while to add new chapters to it.

I put a lot of thought into song selection. I even have a playlist with all of them I've listened to a few hundred times. Glad it worked.

Thank you! I feel a heck of a lot better about my writing these days but hope I can continue to improve. I know about the ending. Pretty awesome, right? LOL

Noted However, more than the 1k word chapters, the issues you raise were a result of limiting the number of chapters. I'm also restricting the chapters in Ranger, but I'm allowing them to be as long as necessary to get the story across.

LMAO- That would be a trip. I'll use the format again, but I have no idea when. As of right now, Harley's story's only a couple hundred words long. A few ideas jotted down to prevent my bad memory acting up.

I'm glad so many readers realize win or lose Chipper's career's set to explode. I wish I could go see one of his concerts!

Thanks, Andrew. Your continued enjoyment is important; I'll try to live up to your faith in my writing.

I haven't looked in a long time, but Mark Arbour's CAP series may beat both CJs. One huge obstasscle to future stories is timing. CJ's story would not have been the same had I set it in a different time period or started it with him being older. Gay marriage and the 2016 presidential election were integral to the character's development. Now I'm stuck writing in the future, and it's a pain. Not only do I have to skip most real life events, but I can't have everyone who's gonna have kids do it when they're as young as CJ. One or two young parents I can get away with, more that that would be unrealistic. As I mentioned before, I do have references to Chipper already outlined, we'll see when those come to light.
  10. I may have brought a gutter find home once or twice.
  11. Stay safe. Both of you.
  12. This is the time of year I love living in South Florida, August not so much.
  13. Get your mind out of the gutter. I had jeans and boots on too. LOL
  14. @wildone btw, Steve, no hating but right now I'm sitting outside in shorts no shirt, and I already went for a motorcycle ride this morning wearing only a t-shirt.
  15. I was rooting for the underdogs mostly and I feel bad for Michigan.
  16. LOL I actually watched a lot of it, and I'll admit I was rooting for Auburn. I also cheered for Michigan, but Ohio State destroyed them.
  17. Hey, Doc, is the weather complicated by the huge, dark cloud over Tuscaloosa this morning?

Following the analogy, think of 1k word chapters as portion control. I don't want readers gaining weight.

I don't understand why people don't like the short chapters...

Ooops, Aslan called Monday night after the performances were over. The results aren't announced until the next day.

If you read most anything of mine, you'll realize I have an affinity for dialogue too. It's why I noticed how well you do it.

You're talking to the king of acting without thinking and overreacting. If it makes you feel any better, I honestly have no idea who wIns. Kept going back and forth between Chipper and Bliss. That's one of the reasons I ended the story the way I did.

I'm sorry but you'll have to leave the AK-47 back home if you come chasing after me.

I did set up the ending in advance, didn't I? That contract contestants sign was the main reason why I couldn't decide if Chipper won or not.

BTW CJ couldn't be there even if he wanted to. New job, limited vacation time, and he's headed to Australia for Christmas three weeks after the finale.
