Better to lull everyone into a sense of complacency. I figured distracting readers with my usual barrage of events would make the Brad news more impactful. Funny you mention kangaroo care. I tried to find a picture I saw recently to share with you but was unable to. It was a gay dad with a very hairy chest holding his newborn son. The kids fist was holding on to some of the fur. I immediately thought of CJ. Rare for me to defend bad actors, but I can understand where Nadine's coming from. She didn't want a kid and these people are Thiago's friends first and foremost.

Chipper spent most of the summer in New York City and was unable to connect with Greg Nalbo. Not that he was interested in meeting with the man. @Fae Briona Hey! No messing with my wedding planner stint. LOL I planned on this song for years. I had Chipper show an appreciation for American Songbook numbers early on. I considered a country song but decided this one fit better with the Georgetown University vibe I've tried to convey. The student body is still populated by plenty of well-off, white, blue bloods.

Thank you! I try to educate a little in my stories and have striven to show drug use does not equal bad people and addiction. The Nancy Reagan Just Say No approach always felt silly and useless.

You raise a kid to be independent and follow his own path and if you do a good job, they will. My brother had to sign one of those things before he married and he went along with it without complaining. Then again, he was 30 compared to CJ being 20. Those ten years may have caused CJ to react differently. Nah, he would have blown up even more, I think. LOL -

This is the first time I mentioned Rashid being involved with someone. To be honest, when I created him I knew he would be exiting the story early and didn't think much about what his future entailed. There'll be one more appearance for him in the stuff I've already written. Someone told me the proposal was typical CJ. I wanted something somewhat romantic but subtle. Him choosing to do it where JFK proposed to Jacquie I thought would fit his personality. -

@Fae Briona As with many others, CJ's willingness to give Trump a chance quickly evaporated. The president's duplicity and dishonesty are an affront on the values he holds dear. Trump's attacks on on the GLBT community angered him to the point he wanted nothing more than for the orange blob to be impeached.

We must try not to judge others based on a single incident. Party boys can differentiate between what's right and what's wrong. Trust me, I've been around plenty of them. High as a kite on Saturday night and treating patients or representing clients on Monday.
