So I'm just about done watching the Grammy's for the 2nd time tonight and was thinking, what did you take away from the show if you say it? Here is just a couple of things on my mind: Jennifer Hudson's emotional and heartfelt tribute to Whitney Houston made a tear come to my eye. I'm sure if Whitney was around she would have been proud. 'I Will Always Love You' will now always stand out in my mind when I think of her. Glen Campbell out doing 'Rhinestone Cowboy' brought back tons of memories from when I was a kid growing up. For some reason that song was my favourite until I was about 12. Foster the People, I've heard of them, but when I saw Mark Foster do the cover for the Beachboys, i fell in love The Beachboys, they are iconic and it is about time that they all got together on one stage together again. They defined surfing music then, now and into the future. BTW, did you know Glenn Campbell was a backup singer for the Beachboys in the beginning. Brian Wilson even looked and sounded great. Tony Bennett continues to charm the women and men of the world. Adele, wow. Her voice is so amazing. I still can't believe that her voice sounds the way it does without some kind of voice enhancement. She did deserve to be the top winner tonight IMHO. Sir Paul McCarthy, what a legend. His show closing montage was amazing. He still looks and sounds so young belying his true age. Another thing, whenever anyone was up performing, be it country, rock, indy, rap, electronic, he was getting down with it. I have a lot of respect for the man, probably more than any of the Beatles and would love to get to call him Sir in person. He is definitely deserving of the title. Just my thoughts, how bout yours?

I've said it before, so I'll say it again.... I probably first realized I like boys and did something that I really liked when I was six. Then I continued on knowing that I liked boys and tried to fit that into my life without being discovered. I didn't know the word 'gay' but I did know that not all my friends felt the same, so probably a lot of anguish over 'was I normal'. In the early teens I started a large collection of gay porn mags (yes, sadly the internets weren't invented by Dan Quayle yet ) The funny thing is that every couple of years all the mags would end up in a dumpster behind some mall or store. I would decide that I wasn't gay. Then a week later would find me buying another magazine. I probably totally accepted I was gay and unable to change it by the time I was 15/16 but totally kept it to myself Then in Uni I started taking risks and experimenting more and more. Do I have regrets, yes. Am I disappointed in my evolution, no.

Lugh, I think you are trying to confuse the good readers of CJ's story. You are 100% correct, this years chapters do not count towards the voting. Fortunately the 48 odd chapters that he posted in 2010 do qualify and since he had at least 79 cliffhangers in those chapters, he is more then deserving of the award again this year. I will say, if you do happen to feel sorry for CJ (insert a ROFLMAO smiley in here) you do have the option to choose Lugh, another cliffhanger specialist in his own right

Okay, I'm a little unclear on something, maybe you can all help me out. When Rachel bought Ares, it already had the secrets on board it. She then switched Ares and Atlantis after she bought the second boat. So in original terms, Atlantis is Ares (aka Kookabura) , and Ares is Atlantis. Since Ned didn't do as much of a complete scan of Atlantis/Ares/Kookabura, before turning it over to Rachel, why wouldn't he have found anything yet with all the work and scanning with high tech electronics on Ares/Atlantis. Well I'm still having suspicious feelings about Frank. There is just so much in the story that could point the finger his way. Sanchez says he has resources, is Frank the resource? What better way to keep an eye out on Dirk and Jim to have them being defended by Frank. 'Keep your friends closer, your enemies closer' have any truth in it? His assessment of a plausible defense for Bridgit was just to complex and complete if he had seriously just received all the information for the first time in the visit from Gonzeles. I think the Assistant State Attorney was just a small fish in the cartels net. Me thinks

Well, DD was the reason I found GA, so I say AOKAY The thing I remember the most of the story is that the angst while annoying at times, was what made the story flow for me. When I was so pissed off at Rory, I was motivated to read on to get further into the story. If that was Dom's true intentions, then I say Bravo, good on you. It was also a story, that I even believe Dom has admitted, is full of spelling and grammatical errors. To me I am more than willing to overlook those if the storyline and characters are strong enough to intrigue me. And Desert Droppings definitely did that. If I were reading for the first time right now, I would still be rating it a 5/5. Lastly, don't think we need to defend the reviewer. They are exactly that, a reviewer. I'm sure they know that people will agree and disagree with them. So I think it is better to comment on what the story meant to you, not what how the reviewer was wrong or right. So on Monday my lil Sister had a baby boy and luckily I was one of the few to get to visit her on the Maternity ward when her hubby and his two brothers had left. I was holding on to a newborn baby that was only six hours old and it really moved me. At one point the nurse wanted to get my sister up and walking, so she said I had to babysit and she plunked Matthew down in my arms and they were gone for about an hour. CJ has publicly and privately called me out to find anything that would constitute a cliffhanger in this chapter. So, I will list what I see are cliffhangers in Chapter 109 (using human maths). Basingstoke has purchased a large jaw bone with teeth intact. I don't think it is for hanging on his motel room wall. More likely he needs a way to deliver Trevor's head to Sanchez in a way that can be explained without too much attention. Trevor and the crew are out in the Indian Ocean heading to a secluded, not well known area and CJ has told us about the sharks in the area. Bull sharks I do believe are more prone to attack humans in shallows than any other breed of shark. The lingering doubt of Frank Tittle's allegiance. Could Dirk and Jim be in grave danger from their high priced, pompous lawyer? Rachel is about to pick up Sea Witch, which has had it's engines modified to specifically outrun Coast Guard boats. Remember back when the Sea Bitch was first introduced? The boat, not the owner. Although Frank may be lying, it is entirely feasible that he is telling the truth and a jury could be swayed into having a reasonable doubt about any charges laid against her. She could walk free and continue her current journey to eliminate all the characters. Please feel free to add any other items that I may have missed in this cliffhanger plagued chapter

I imagine CJ has set the stage for a shark attack on the 4 teens. With Basingstoke in possesion of bull shark jaw, he now has the way to make it look like all them were frolicking in the shallows (I believe bull sharks are known for their attacks in shallow water and lagoons and attacks on humans way outnumber other shark attacks) and also a way to seperate Trevor's head from the rest of his body. We even have all 3 guys ready to go in their red, black and blue speedos. Although Lisa was the one who gave Bridgit most of her information inadvertantly, lets hope she is the smart one here and decides not to go swimming. The timing will be essential here, if Trevor calls his Uncle Greg before time, then there might be another set of eyes on them other than Basingstoke. I still can't get over what CJ did to Henry To die a death of your greatest fear must be absolutely horrible. The thing I can't get out of my mind was the exchage between Frank and Gonzales. I'm not sure if I'm hypersensitive or not, but did anyone else get an unusal feeling that Henry was digging for information from Frank and is setting him up to expose himself as to being somehow part of Bridget's sceme Just a feeling I got Thanks for the chapter CJ....I think

Dang, out witted by the goat again. I am going have to check with Myr to see if CJ has the power to change the timestamps on posts I wouldn't put it past our goat.
