  1. Why thank you! Does that mean I"m entitled to the shiny for the day? The day ends in 2 1/2 hours in Vancouver. What better than to close out this thread and present me with my shiny
  2. I totally missed that too! I was going to PM you about it
  3. Well Mr. Dodger, thank you for the early Canada Day present I'm always in favour of pressies a day before the actual day. So looks like you have stirred up a lot of stuff going forward, and from the past. I'm just going to randomly put down my thoughts. I think Robbie was being hypocritical on judging, even though he said he didn't, Nathan for taking drugs. After all, those in glass houses shouldn't throw stones or did Robbie forget his drug use with Alex? This brings up the question about the drugs found in shed in the back yard (garden for you Dodger ) at the party. Did that ever get resolved? We were all assuming that Alex had brought them, some felt that Don or one of his friends brought them, but could Nathan had brought them? In their brief visit, all Nathan gave up was that they made him feel good. How long has he needed them to feel good? Like before and during and after when they dated? The money issues, where we know that Alex called up Robbie to ask him for $2000, but that never went anywhere other than a few messages left on his phone. Now, with the end of the chapter and your teaser, is Conner going to ask him to pony up on his inheritance as well? As much as I hate to say it, Nathan is the only ex or boyfriend that hasn't seem to come looking for money. Oh , also since Alex said for sure he didn't take the swear jar money, could it have been Nathan? Actually, now Alex's words '“That’s what I said, dickhead. But I think I know who did.”' might be taken as he knows that Nathan needs money to buy his drugs . So many new twists and questions with this chapter . 4 chapters ago, when Alex tried to sell Robbie some drugs at Ginny's party without realizing who Robbie was, he said he would give drugs to Robbie free. So could the person who had beat up Nathan been Alex? After all, he has a temper and with Robbie's mention of his face, I was thinking he was on meth possibly. I don't think anyone believes that Nathan didn't have a previous thing with Alex before Robbie came along. Just Nathan wouldn't Robbie back then. Sound familiar now? Now, with Stephanie, just so everyone knows, in Canadia abortion is pretty easy to get and it is paid by the healthcare system. For a actual surgical one, I don't think pills were available back then, it is a hop skip and jump away to Peterborough, Scarborough or Toronto. All under an hours drive. She talked to Robbie on either Monday or Tuesday and said 'I’m fine. There’s nothing wrong with me, but I need to talk to you.' She also said she would be over tonight, and now we are on Friday night and still nothing from Stephanie. Could it be in her mind since she isn't without child, there is nothing wrong with her now? There were a few more things that popped into my mind whilst reading, but my age is showing and I have forgotten the rest. Hopefully my rambling hasn't confused everyone. P.S. @Wesley8890 I've never really heard the expression of douchecanoe, but can you tell us more about them? P.P.S., Dodger, can we expect a day before the 4th of July chapter too
  4. I cannot read that font But if I could, I imagine it saying Congratulations Wildone for winning this round🤴
  5. I saw this Friday night and thought it is such a good song for right now with everything going on in the world! Well it made me smile and who better to cheer us all up than the Muppets! Hopefully it will keep that smile on your face for the rest of the week too I also want to put out an offer to everyone! Our GA resident prompt guru comicfan, or those that love him, Wayne, will be away for a little while as he has a lot going on right now. This means we want you all to try your hand at creating a prompt or two for the next while. After next week's Anthology Wrap Up, we will be returning to our regular scheduled programming of the prompts on Friday. So we need some soon! This is a way to get you name immortalized in the GA Weekly Blog . Now we should get to the wrap up! 12. I remember being a kid and watching The Gong Show and seeing @Valkyrie trying to do her usual song and dance routine we see every day here. Shortest amount of time for any contestant

  14. I will have to admit, that I personally don't think I've ever experienced an adversary the I'm picturing from the opening stanza I imagine as we start talking about our pasts, we learn that more and more people have experienced these hurt and emotions. As others have mentioned, this is an example of how one works to finally take back their life and destiny. The final stanza is an excellent conclusion! At least that is what I took out of it Thanks for sharing Gary!
  15. What the heck is that? Are you just showing @Valkyrie since it is in the GIF's, doesn't mean it should be posted Well now that you kiddies have fought over my Shiny today, I shall take it to bed to spend the night with its rightful owner
  16. Shiny is Miney, give it or I will kick you in the hiney
  17. Hello my little chickadees I'm back, thanks for taking turns looking after my shiny
  18. Another week, and another week of nice weather. I guess some of our US of A neighbours had a bit of extreme weather, so hoping you all are okay Tonight, I actually sat at my computer and watched 3 completely separate thunderstorms move through the city. Great lightening shows, and thunder that shook the stuff in my place. Won't catch me going outside in anything like that again Oops, let me retract that! Watching the 11:30 local news and our major freeway going through the middle of the city, 4 northbound lanes had only the roofs of cars visible under water. In the NE sector the ground was white with hail up to golf ball sized and holes trough people's vinyl siding and ripped their roofs off too. A lot with flooded basements as well. Guess I shouldn't think of my light show as great, when it seems to caused so much damage . Well I will have a pretty easy job this week as far as the Wrap Up goes Monday, Renee was around to bring us a great story review done by the exceptional Review Team and this time was done by @aditus Then on Thursday, Renee was back with Round Two of the Spring Anthology. Everyday of the Week, Myr was by with a new Word of the Day. Did you check them out? Lastly, lets check in our on story goals. 19. Can you say 'Drew Drool' ten times quickly Nope, so no such thing exists (except when he sees a hot guy at college )
  20. I'm sure any drool that couldn't be removed from the cake was entirely yours, and the mighty Sir Drew Espinosa couldn't remove all of it before presenting to the guests. We've all seen what happens when you see food It is like your nearby 7th wonder of the word takes possession of you mouth and Niagara Falls happens
  21. I’m late to the party I’m sure she will say my invitation must have got lost in the mail 😛 Belated Happy Birthday I hope you enjoyed Sir @Drew Espinosa for the day

    Picture Gallery

Hi Myr, on the forums page on the gallery thumbnails, you see only a third of the last picture. Below that there used to be a left/ right scroll bar. It looks like it has an arrow > instead. That doesn’t work on my IPad either. IPad mini 5th generation IOS software version 13.5
  23. Exciting things happened this week in the GA New Blogs Did you catch them daily, or do you rely on the Weekly Wrap Up to get caught up So last weekend, I played 18 holes of golf on Sunday. We all practiced safe distancing and such. I say played, but I lie . We went to play in the Rockies and some of the tee boxes were quite the climb, and then back down to the carts. Since I don't wear my prosthetic leg much since I've been working at home, I don't get out on it too much during the week. Needless to say by the 12th hole, my friends who were not judgmental or pitying me, noticed I was having trouble climbing up and getting down off the tee boxes, they suggested I play best ball format. So I gave it a try! Having 3 good golfers with a duffer like me, made it so all my so called drives off the tee box were exceptional from then on . Didn't keep score at all. Interesting how much more fun golf can be if you take out the competition of scoring. Now I'm interested, what fun outdoor (or indoor) things have you done on the weekend and were you able to practice safe physical distancing? I saw from status updates, @Daddydavek was having a blast this week cutting his ever growing lawns. Well enough about me and onto the update! Monday, Cia launched the Can't Stop Reading Feature for June. Wednesday was the 1st one of the month, so Mr. Hazday was back with another edition of Ask An Author. Remember please, send him questions to keep this feature going!!! Thursday, Renee took over the blog to announce the first round of stories on the Spring Anthology. Make sure to check them out!!! I want to give a shout out and also give kudos to Myr, for getting us 7 new words we can try to work into our vocabulary or writing! Are you a student still in skool? Well news for all of you, you all are in GA Skool and lets check your grades The people who were 133% or A++++++++, please stand up and say your name Anthologies 2020 Fall Anthology - Shadows - Due by November 15th, 2020 2020 Fall Anthology - Bridges - Due by November 15th, 2020 Author Anthology Questionnaire - Click here to participate Anthology 101 - New in the Anthology Forum. Chapter 20

I’m glad more and more Drew is realizing something is probably wrong with his mental situation. I hope he talks to Cole about it and they get him some help 😕 The whole bulb and dildo situation had me in stitches. Brought back a lot of my own personal memories, including the jumping up and down. 😛 I really love evrything about this story Mr. Dabegal. Just sad it is coming to a close. Thank you for sharing your talent with all of us
