Thank you so much! I've really enjoyed re-living the story through all your wonderful comments. I'm not done with this universe. At some point I want to write both a prequel and a sequel. I have written some short stories that take place after the events in this story. Galentine's Day Special and Accused and of course Ten Lords a-Leaping. Accused is about Patrick, Josh's old trainer. I also wrote some prompt responses back in 2014 that feature some of THH characters. I'll have to find the chapter, but there's one that tells about Ethan's recovery. Thanks for reading and I hope you like my other stories too

It was not a good situation for anyone. Eddie could have been in danger from two people parked on a remote rural road in the middle of the night, so reacted strongly. Maybe a bit too strongly, but I can understand why he was so harsh. Like you said, thankfully they were able to realize the connection to Liam and get things sorted out. It's a long road to recover from PTSD, and like you said, some only learn how to adapt. We'll see what the future brings.

I used to teach therapeutic horseback riding and we had one mare who extremely cranky with everyone (would bite or kick and even broke someone's arm once because she bit them so hard) and was difficult to ride. Very spooky and could be a bit of a pill. Well, I had some autistic adults come for lessons and needed a large horse, so decided to give her a try. OMG This crankasaurus Rex put her head down when the guy was grooming her, ears to the side, all relaxed and loving it. The minute a staff member approached, her head would come up, ears go back... so okay... point taken! We left them to their devices! When a special needs person rode her, she was an absolute angel. Every footstep precise and measured, no spooking. My boss saw me using her for therapeutic riding and was all set to blast me into next week until she saw how incredible the connection was. Everyone here needs healing, and it's a good thing they all have each other. Dr. Snowden is very good at his job

There's a lot of pain, grief, and guilt going around. Sorting through it all and getting through the healing process won't be easy for anyone. Seeing the aftereffects of such trauma is definitely not easy. I was originally going to include Galen's time in the hospital, but after discussing it with my beta, we decided not to. I'm glad you felt it worked. Thanks for the awesome comment

Yeah, Josh's eyes have been opened in the worst way possible The Monster of Milwaukee? I'm not familiar with that. Yes, this chapter was very difficult to write. I wish I had a Jody I like to imagine all sorts of karmically appropriate things happening to Roger in prison

Galen and Josh both have their flaws. Josh is stuck in the past, re-living a tragedy he should have faced ages ago. Hopefully getting it out in the open will help him finally move past it. I agree that she shouldn't have shared it with Galen, but it may be just the kick in the ass Josh needs. Time will tell! Aww... poor Tigger I still miss all my departed cats too.
