I thought this was a brilliant use of the five gold rings. I loved the incorporation of the street names and door knockers and how each visit revealed a piece of the puzzle Tate needed to put together to realize his true feelings. It's Hercules meets It's a Wonderful Life. Very clever and riveting! I loved it!

Thank you! It was my cousin's daughter's favorite song when she was little.

    I think @astone2292needs to write a response to PT Prompt #7 😁

It’s hard to believe December is half over! How about celebrating the end of the year by writing a prompt? There has to be a punchline somewhere for #7! PT Prompt #7 An angel, a werewolf, a vampire, and a human go to a bar. What happens? Write a short story or vignette. PT Prompt #8 Winter challenge. You're snowed in at a motel in the middle of nowhere with just strangers in rooms nearby. Tell us what happens.

This is a great tale of the reality of forgiveness. It's not an immediate thing, but a process, which this outlines so clearly. It also shows how horrible family dynamics can be, especially when there's an inheritance involved. I'm so glad the workshop is being used by the right person. Anders sounds like a good man. I also love how the child is going to be the unifying force. Perfect for the season! Great job, Wolfie!

I always think of horse racing when I see this word because races for mares and fillies are called Distaff.

I love how Loris created a Christmas for Dante filled with his family traditions to honor his father. The concert was perfect, as was the feast. The necklace topped off a perfect evening. Great job incorporating the turtle doves. I really enjoyed watching the videos.

Thank you so much! And now I have "How Much is that Doggy in the Window", "Catootje", and "The Hippopotamus Song" all vying for attention in my head

You'll have to let us know which earworm won Now I have that Dutch song stuck in my head

So I watched part of "Catootje" on YouTube and see what you mean. I have no idea what they're saying, but I can see the resemblance. I was tortured with the Hippo song when my cousin's kids were young lol

Aww... thank you so much! I love the end of the video where they show the singer now.

    Doodle

Valkyrie commented on small mercy's blog entry in Mercys writing

I love the doodles! I do a lot of my outlining with pen and paper, but the majority of my writing on the laptop. If I'm at work and I have to write, then I'll write in a notebook and transcribe it to the computer later.

I forgot to include a link to the song. Here's the hippopotamus song, for those unfamiliar with it. You're welcome

Thanks! I hope you enjoy the rest

Yeah, I think most 911 calls don't end quite as happily. Thanks for reading!

    Thank you!

Thank you! It's amazing the connections people come up with to get their point across. Yes, Cole Matthews, Aditus, and myself each wrote four stories for this collection. Tomorrow you'll get to read Aditus' take on two turtle doves.
