You're doing remarkably well. Going out of town several times with less anxiety is a huge step forward for you. I'm glad to see an entry from you. I've been wondering how you're doing.
Good morning! ☕ It's gross and rainy out. We're supposed to get high winds, yet again, and falling temps, which will turn the rain to snow. They're saying it's not supposed to be as bad as Tuesday, but you never know. I'm glad it's Friday!
This made me go count my own anthology participation. I've participated in every anthology since Summer 2014. Fourteen anthologies and twenty stories. ⭐ Can you tell I like them?
My favorite aspect of writing for the anthologies is finding questions to explore and try to answer. I like using the anthologies to explore themes or writing styles I might not use otherwise.
My advice to new anthology authors is to just try it. Remember you don't have to embrace the theme--a tangential link to it is all you need.
I have ideas for both themes, so I'm hoping to have two submissions this spring.
I'll be quite interested to read the responses to this one. I have a pretty strong opinion on the subject, but I'll wait until the blog's posted to express it
