I'm entranced with Triton too, and I don't even particularly like the water...lol I really enjoyed this story and you did a great job with the revisions. You have a real knack for making me want more of your stories. I hope you decide to revisit these guys, whether for a future anthology or even a full story. Wow, Cole. What a very powerful story. I'm sorry to see Ben and Rush break up. I think Rush made a great decision to open his own agency. I don't think he'd be happy working for a corporation or another PI. I can understand him wanting to take Clay under his wing and protect him from his parents. His parents don't seem like bad people, but they clearly are in over their heads with dealing with a teenager with so many issues. I'm wondering if there isn't an underlying mental illness at play here, in addition to the issues related to his abuse. While things seem on the upswing for Clay, I can't help but feel that it's temporary and something big is looming on the horizon. I can understand Ben's feelings, and wonder if he isn't at least partially right when he says that Clay is in love with Rush. Garrett was older, right? It's not too far of a stretch for Clay to fall in love with his benefactor, then. I have a feeling that the future is going to get darker before it gets brighter. I wonder if Ben will be there to pick up the pieces, or if it is truly over for them. There are so many blurred edges in this story. Fantastic job, Cole. You've really got me thinking.

You captured Julian's nervousness perfectly. I love how he stuck to the presentation, despite Romeo's questions. He gets an A for effort. lol I love the ending and the tenderness of them sitting on the floor of his office, eating their expensive food and looking at the slide show. All the nervousness was over and they could enjoy their anniversary with the surprise out of the way. Great story, Addy. I really like these guys.

Creepy! *shudder* I like how you twisted the prompt from a first line to last line. It worked perfectly. I'm also torn between wanting more and leaving it as is. Part of me wants to know what happens and what exactly Jason is, and part of me wants to leave it to my own imagination. Is he an alien, robot, or vampire? Vampires do sleep, so my guess would be not vampire. Alien is top of the list, with robot behind that. Nice job. I hope you tackle more prompts. I really enjoyed it.

I don't think I'll ever get tired of watching that video. Cats are amazing creatures and can be very affectionate. I had a cat that used to always greet me at the door when I came home. He'd hear my car pull into the driveway and would be waiting for me. My brother's cat alerted them when their dryer caught on fire. He wouldn't have known until it was too late, but she stood at the top of the basement stairs and howled until he investigated.

I enjoy reading your reviews, especially of movies. It's always nice to find new stories to read, too. Please continue.

Oh how frustrating to know what Eddie's trying to convey and that Bryan has no idea! Too bad he didn't ask Eddie more questions... I really felt Bryan's anguish. I want to punch his mother every time she talks about him 'getting over it'. Grrrr... Nice job, CM. You gave us a bit of hope with Eddie, but snatched it away again at the end. So close...I hope poor Wyatt and Bryan are reunited soon.

Poor Eddie. We see just how evil MD is that she's capable of treating her own son the same way she's treating Wyatt. How heartbreaking to see Wyatt so sick and realizing just how much danger he's in. Eddie needs to see Bryan and how miserable he is without Wyatt. I bet he'd tell him where Wyatt is, then.

I grew up watching the original Muppet Show and absolutely loved it. Nothing will ever compare to the original and Jim Henson's genius.

GAH! Why didn't I make the connection with Eddie sooner??? Now we've seen MD's true colors. I think Eddie is the key to Wyatt getting rescued. If he sees that Wyatt really does love Brian and how much Brian misses Wyatt, I have a feeling he'll open up to his brother if pressed. I don't think he's a bad person...just easily manipulated.
