Oh how frustrating to know what Eddie's trying to convey and that Bryan has no idea! Too bad he didn't ask Eddie more questions... I really felt Bryan's anguish. I want to punch his mother every time she talks about him 'getting over it'. Grrrr... Nice job, CM. You gave us a bit of hope with Eddie, but snatched it away again at the end. So close...I hope poor Wyatt and Bryan are reunited soon.

Poor Eddie. We see just how evil MD is that she's capable of treating her own son the same way she's treating Wyatt. How heartbreaking to see Wyatt so sick and realizing just how much danger he's in. Eddie needs to see Bryan and how miserable he is without Wyatt. I bet he'd tell him where Wyatt is, then.

The Second City has some great comedy. I went to The House of Blues when I was there, too. Great food and great music.

GAH! Why didn't I make the connection with Eddie sooner??? Now we've seen MD's true colors. I think Eddie is the key to Wyatt getting rescued. If he sees that Wyatt really does love Brian and how much Brian misses Wyatt, I have a feeling he'll open up to his brother if pressed. I don't think he's a bad person...just easily manipulated. Another great chapter, CM.

Lots of great prompts this week. It's nice seeing them all featured. -
I'm still thinking MD as well. Did she read the letter over his shoulder? If not, how did she know what the contents were? Why was the letter 'sent' to the manor instead of Bryan's place? I'm glad the officers dispelled any fears that the letter was real right away. I'm sure there are lots of accomplices here. The person in the cab all wrapped up was obviously not Wyatt, so maybe it was the butler or Derrick? I look forward to whatever answers we get in the next chapter.

So we finally get to see Schvesla's machine. I'm a bit worried about them going into the cages to try and overload it. I hope they don't end up hurting themselves, and I hope they don't play right into the lord's hands. Great chapter. I can't wait to read the next one! Oh, and I'm very curious about Wildman and how he seems to know so much about the machine.

I always liked back to school shopping because I'm a big nerd when it comes to office supplies. lol I love fresh notebooks and pencils, etc. Things are a lot different now than when I was in school (man, that makes me sound so old!) We never had to provide any classroom supplies; the school district did that. I had a very eye-opening experience when I did my student teaching in the inner city public school system. I was amazed at how much the teachers provided on their own. Hell, they even had to bring in their own toilet paper if they wanted to be guaranteed to have some when needed. And we wonder why the US keeps slipping in education rankings.

I don't know...I kind of like the ambiguous ending. Will Tony end up like Alan, or did Tim finish the job? Will someone intervene and stop Tim before he can finish the job? We'll see if I'm inspired by what you sent Renee for Friday. I'm glad you liked it.

Alan had been showing increasingly bizarre behavior lately, and I was worried about him. “How do you know? I’m telling you…I saw him putting his contacts in and he had reptilian eyes. Honest to God reptile eyes! He’s not human, Tony. I’m not crazy!
