Yup I left school yesterday at 8pm after tidying my classroom cause there might be some work done in it and packed all the books I'll need to prep for the last term. I'll have a lazy weekend at the apartment and leave for dads Sunday afternoon cause I have an appointment with my doctor on Monday morning to get a certificate for my disability claim file. It'll take months to be evaluated so there's like 90% change I won't get work arrangements for the new school year but who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️ I don't want much, just not being over 20-30 minutes drive from my place and ideally not a substitute position but it's already a lot to ask. Then next week I'll spent Thursday at the hospital to redo the sleeping resistance test but under medication this time to see if I'm allowed to drive or if I'm officially prohibited from driving... BUT! I'm also planning on enjoying this break by planting strawberries and flowers on me terrasse, seeing great-aunt, having a glass in my new lounge chair, reading, going for walks, biking, baking and cooking To really enjoy it I'll need you to send back some heat though

Spring holiday!!

Tonight I had a free pizza I left school late and on Thursdays there's a pizza truck like a block away from my place so I stopped there on my way home. I had been there like only 2 times before. The first one they say we couldn't pay by card but there's an ATM nearby to I got some cash there. The last time I had pulled cash but there was an EPT. So today I went to pull some cash but the ATM was out of service. At the truck their EPT wasn't working. I started saying "well too bad, next time 🤷‍♀️" and the guy just said "it's ok you can pay next time you come by". Dude I don't know when I'll be back, I'm not sure I'll be able to make it next week plus it's embarrassing. It's ok, no money, no pizza, all's good. But he insisted, asked what pizza I wanted and he proceeded to make it. I said I'd be there next week, put it in my calendar and offered to leave him my number but he refused. So yeah I got a free pizza

Omg I almost died! It's late, I'mon the sofa finishing putting together the voices of my students over a video (we did film dubbing to work on their fluent reading), it's still nice outside so the bay window is slightly open so Looping can come in and out as he please. Suddenly I hear a "blop" sound right after the pitter patter of Loopings paws on the wooden floor. I rise my head and look right and here it is... A tiny mouse 😭 barely 50 cm from my open bedroom door and right in the middle of the apartment. Looping is right beside it. What do I do?! Who do I call for help?? Who's the responsible adult in the room?!? Ugh ok think fast. I don't know if it's totally dead yet so just tiny case I need something to trap it so it won't run away somewhere in the apartment and to prevent Looping from taking it like on the bed. Good thing I have a plastic measuring cup in the coffee table. I managed to put it over looping's victim. It's not moving pheww. But now how and with what do I catch it to get rid of it... Ugh I hate touching dead animal... What if it's suddenly come back to life and jump on me?! Eww! I went to the bay window, pushed open the shutter, open the window big, managed to send Looping outside and I grabbed the mouse with a dish towel (I'm totally burning it) and throw it over my little fence and into the bush in the common front garden *shudders* Looping was looking at me so now I'm scared he'll try to bring it back inside again. For the moment is in time out outside.

It was the school carnival this afternoon and it was a lot of fun. Without having talked about it me and my fav colleague were both dressed as grandma's

One of the law enforcement guy turned out to be a total asshole. They had a quizz from 8.45 to 10.15 am. He shout and made comments about the kids being chatty. And yeah a couple talked but like barely a whisper to their neighbors like you can do to ask about something. So the guy threw a white board pen right at one of my students. He could have taken it in the face! Thanks god his neighbor caught it right in flight. And moment late the guy kept making comments about sitting straight in the chair. Except some are one the side against the wall so if they want to soir the board correctly they have to turn slightly. Annoy of repeating himself he threw another white board at another student. Her neighbor divert it with her hand but got hurt with the cap. The guy is a cop. He often work with kids in classes. He said he has a 1st grade daughter himself. Yet he acted like that! I was shocked! And of course after 1 hour they'll start wriggling in their chair. They're kids and anyone would too.

I still have a week but at least Monday is off 🍫🐇🐣

My students are taking a bicycle test with a law enforcement crew this morning. Hopefully they'll be cute
