    Chapter 20

20 The drive across the county line to the Tyrell estate took exactly twenty-four minutes, and Declan spent every single one of those minutes running tactical simulations in his mind. But as the heavy iron gates of the Tyrell estate loomed in the headlights of the Volvo, Declan felt a cold bead of sweat slide down his spine. This was not a werewolf skirmish. This was Esca Tyrell. The architect of Aethelgard Omnicare. A predator so ancient and powerful that the mere whisp

  5. HAHA Spies... what can I say *ahem* You lot reading, commenting, and pushing, questioning, and... It's like catnip. I love it, thank you. It's vital to the process, and the reward for all the hard work. Thank you
  6. Cooper from No Official Reason He seems like a guy who would play one hell of a Poker game.
  7. It closes in Merrick views set backs at advantage
  8. The kennel stood at the furthest, most desolate edge of the sprawling Merrick estate, physically separated from the pristine, manicured lawns and the classical architecture of the main house by a thick, unforgiving line of dense evergreen trees. It was a long, low, brutally utilitarian building constructed of poured concrete and heavy-gauge chain-link fencing, designed without a single concession to aesthetics. It housed the five purebred Belgian Malinois who aggressively patrolled the expansive

They haven't broken up, per se. Andy is letting Lucas explore himself, with Ronan. And it works to help protect Lucas:

    Chapter 19

I wouldn't write off Andy and Lucas just yet... Andy's pushing Lucas away, yes, because in Andy's mind, Ronan is better for Lucas. It's a weird type of care, I think. When Lucas works out what Andy's doing, things will probably change.

    Chapter 19

Given Esca's "game" of being a 1950's daddy, of all the gang, Declan is the most likely to get past Esca... Lucas would be... entertaining and very very dead.

    Chapter 19

Lucas just isn't bothered... I think because he's allowed to have Ronan, he feels it's only fair that Andy can have Declan.
  14. Orel Merrick, is arguably the best thing Alistair ever did. just ask Finn Grady
  15. . . . ooooooooooooooooo Anyone ever told you that you are worth your weight in GOLD?
  16. MMM perhaps. Though it's still a few years until Orel, so he does have to stick around a little longer...

    Chapter 19

19 The reference section of the Oak Creek High School library—a dusty, forgotten labyrinth of obsolete encyclopedias and Dewey Decimal casualties—was the absolute last place Lucas Cooper expected to be ambushed. He was currently sitting cross-legged on the threadbare carpet, flipping through a highly questionable 1970s book on 1001 Magic Tricks, which he was trying to learn to impress Ronan when a sharp, imposing shadow fell over his page. Lucas looked up. Declan D
  19. Marcus is now his own worst enemy. Desperate men panic.
  20. It's these steps that build him into Tommy Carter's Dad. Peter, Jason, Leo, Tommy, Caleb... Will's been doing this his whole life. His own trauma shaped him, it did not define him. I am beginning to see the plot of the 2025-2026 era book Carter's Odyssey coming together. I was thinking of doing it from Jacob Carter's perspective, but I think Tommy would be a more interesting view point. (Considering how much like his dad Tommy is)
  21. It's a rough road, but they'll get there. Good morning Donuts!
  22. The wooden stairs leading down to the basement creaked in a sharp, rhythmic protest under Will's polished oxfords, each heavy, deliberate step serving as a physical transition that pulled him further away from the frantic, high-stakes corporate warfare humming in the kitchen above. With every downward step, the aggressive sizzle of Andrew's thick-cut bacon, the sharp, tactical cadence of crisis management, and the blinding, sterile glow of the open laptops faded into the floorboards. In their pl
