This is Jenny-Lynn's primary concern, and why she acts as she does. I am trying to write being very considerate to all of the players involved. Sally is innocent in everything, and if you recall from the past chapter. Jason has told her about Blake, so this is not about the relationship(ghost of one), it's about the impact of their private life being dragged into public. Sally is interesting to me. And Kenny loves his mom, and Jason loves his wife.

Peter is utterly adorkable: He offered a final, respectful nod and walked out, leaving Peter to hum happily over his chopping board, entirely oblivious to the fact that he had just inadvertently rejected an armed, charming officer who had confessed his attraction. Peter just thought he'd met a new, friendly, decent guy. He paused and smiled thoughtfully, as he pulled out his phone and tapped out a fond message to West filled with X’s and O’s at the end and maybe a hint about needing to hear more of West’s cheesy romantic poetry. A white checker’s piece, lost and somehow on the board, had managed to fend off a Red Pawn all by itself.

I love the controlled Chaos family, they're messy, they know it, and own it. I was toying with having Jenny and Sally being Frenemies but then things kind of felt cliche... and then I though, you know what... let's keep with the flipped script theme of this story. And I've wanted to show how Steve is kind of like his Mom. And of course, Kenny needed his run to Steve for comfort moment.

ahhh Poor Kyle, now I have to find him a boyfriend. (Hates un-romanticized characters lonely and pining after their teachers)

Eleven The air in Madam Chao’s Nail Emporium was thick with the scent of acetone, lavender, and the low, contented hum of conversation. It was a Saturday morning, a symphony of indulgence. Sally Jensen sat in a plush, overstuffed chair, her feet soaking in a warm, bubbling basin. The water, a soft shade of pink, was a luxury she rarely afforded herself. She was here redeeming the kindness of Mister Goodman who had given her a gift certificate. It was a small gesture of generocity, a momenta

And how does someone do that without revealing why it's wanted, and thus springing the Kompromat trap. They key here is perception in the public eye. Will is standing directly in the middle of the trap, without DNA there is no way he can disprove the validity of the paternity. Right now it looks like he's guilty as hell, his family quietly covering something up, challenging the paternity claim behind his back. Optics wise it makes Will look really bad. The Perfect "Good" father and family man, hiding his sordid past and abandoning a child. If it hits the News BEFORE it can be disproved, then a paternity test AFTER the fact will mean nothing. Will would be lampooned in the court of public opinion.

Another guess the author, that was a LOT of fun.

Our White Knight has taken to the board. And in Canada we learn that the ice is for everyone. Also, many many people wanted to know what happened to Tyler and Joey, I figured no better way to show it than to: 1. Run the skate shop 2. Tyler coaching Tommy.

You have to get the DNA first

WORLD END: T-minus 171 days, 0 hours, and 30 minutes. Merrickville, Ontario, Canada The drive was a masterclass in Canadian late September. Peter’s black Jeep Wrangler was a rolling fortress against the chill, but West had the windows down an inch, letting the cool, crisp air—heavy with the scent of damp earth and the distant burn of woodsmoke—funnel through the cabin. The trees along County Road 2 were a riot of color, the maples bleeding crimson into gold, a perfect, fleeting farewell

Never underestimate what said Goofball will do to protect the boy he lov... LIKES likes... definitely not the big scary word... Likes... That, or Lydia's going to have to get involved, and if that happens, there probably won't be a town left standing.

This book hit my 75000 word marker that makes it officially a Novel. Yay Personal Mile Stones. Carter's Breach, The Watchers 1 & 2, Ottawa Tales, and now Carter's Order. That officially makes this my most prolific year to date. Thank you guys for reading my work, and keeping me at it.

I think the point I am trying to make with this story is that NO ONE cares that Kenny is gay, EXCEPT Kenny. And it's got nothing to do with kissing a boy, or loving a boy, and everything to do with him viewing it as a complication to his perfect life of order. He doesn't WANT to be gay, not that he isn't gay. His hand (heart) however, show's him that his heart has a very different viewpoint on what it wants.

see told ya they'd figure it out

It states, or it should state, that he changed his jacket for the drive home. Even Steve took off the formal jacket for a comfortable ride. :: shrugs:: And a dance doesn't make a person gay. But again, Kenny is 16 and being a dumb 16 year old with 16 year old issues. He gets there in the end. And again teens taking pictures of people in cars was going on even back when I was in school. Look Keith's car's a rockin, let's catch 'em at it... Again, teenagers are dumb.

ten The engine was a soft, purring presence, a low rumble that was more felt than heard. Jason sat in the quiet dark of his older Subaru Forrester, the dashboard lights a faint, green glow against the black. He was tucked away in the back of the high school parking lot, a silent voyeur to the spectacle across the asphalt. From his thermos, a plume of steam curled into the cold September air, a single, lazy ghost. He took a long sip of the hot tea, the familiar taste of Earl Grey a comfort o

It's sad because no where in the book, does Jesus profess an opinion on it. In fact, he is quite deliberately shown as embracing love in all it's forms. The fact that he is the new covenant.... I could go into the literary, philosophical and debate the scripture. But that's best saved for the text of the book, and will be addressed. I just don't think the comment section is the right place for the discussion Just know that you are thought of and cared about, and that your situation over there is rough and respected. I hope my writing can give you a bit of an escape from it.

Probably the same way he felt when he went into Jerusalem and saw the temple. And I fear, he would be treated the same way he was treated then. It is funny how a 2000 year old book can so accurately describe the current state of it's own religion and be so fundamentally misunderstood, forgotten, and misrepresented.

The Major never hated Will. Just couldn't relate to him. Close though, the Major and her spoke.
